Absolutely love this place......great customer service. Until a plant dies.....purchased eleven 1 quart plants and two did not even make it a week after being planted. Was told warranty only applies to one gallon or bigger. Will not be buying anything smaller than a gallon here anymore.....

I’ve been working on RE-landscaping my yards for the last two years. I have been here countless times for plants, trees, veggies, dirt and tree stakes. The staff is always so helpful and the quality of their nursery plants can’t be beat. Prices may be higher than Home Depot, but you can’t duplicate the selection or quality. Love coming here in the spring. Everything is in bloom and the garden center is packed with organic vegetables to gardening. Today was a rose bush mission. Bought about 10 hybrid teas for the yard. Can’t wait to plant them!

Nice, knowledgeable people work here and are easily accessible. Needed frost cloth to protect the plants from the unseasonably cold temps and was able to get them at a reasonable price, without waiting in long warehouse lines!

Excellent plants and prices. Store is huge and clean, some of the means of organizing the plants are a touch vague but overall things are easy to find. Amazing selection of seeds and houseplants. Gorgeous succulents and excellent landscaping trees, shrubs etc. Lots of new and fancy varieties as well as old classics. I didn't need planting materials or pest control but it looks like they have most of the major things I would ever need. Great selections of pretty ceramic pots and prices on everything seemed pretty fair and comparable to other places in the area. All plants looked happy and healthy, well cared for. My only complaint is I don't have enough room (or budget) for all the things I wanted to buy! Service was helpful, I did not require assistance but a few folks were getting helpful info and I was able to find all I needed with ease.

This is easily the best place for plants. The staff really knows their stuff and will happily help you and answer questions. They are also keen enough to give advice of you are open enough to ask for it.

I called Home Depot with a question concerning my drip irrigation system. The "expert" salesman in charge of that department made it very clear that he was not interested in helping me over the phone. In fact, he ultimately claimed point blank that the question COULDN'T be answered over the phone. I called Green Acres with the same question and within 60 seconds, I had been connected with the irrigation specialist, Eli, and my question was answered. Later, when I screwed up with my equipment at home and brought it back, even though I was very frustrated and -I'll admit- not very friendly, Eli fixed the problem even though part of the equipment in question wasn't even purchased at Green Acres. Lastly, all of the 1/2 inch valves I purchased at Home Depot ended up leaking immediately and they were not the kind of valves that can be re-used. The valves at Green Acres, on the other hand, screw on tightly and can be removed and reused again. Now I have a leak-free system that is working well thanks to the amazing customer service at Green Acres. Thank you!

Poor customer service. Green acres made a mistake charging me, in which they charged me twice and then when I called to notify them, the "manager" was rude, and acted like I enterupted his lunch break. Lazy attitude. Didn't want to be there... after he hung up on me, the first time, I Told him I'm never shopping there again ( I put in a garden every year $300+ ) and he didn't care. This is the result of conglomerates, I miss the ma and pa style stores that cared about customer service and reputation. Won't find me in there again.

I needed assistance as I do not have a "green thumb". I wanted beautiful, easy to maintain, shade loving plants. Everett was most knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He was respectful of my budget and we found some beautiful plants and planters. Eli was very polite at the check out and Colin helped load my car. All 3 gentlemen were kind and considerate. Very pleasant shopping trip to Green Acres. I'll go again & recommend them to all! 5 stars across the board!!!

Ross Noonan, the manager at the Folsom location was like a Good Neighbor. He took what was a family emergency for me and made it a Top Priority for his Green Acres team. No wonder you are the Manager in Folsom! For all of your gardening needs you can depend on Ross and his crew. You'll be treated like a VIP!

The FOLSOM Green Acres is the worst. There is not a single person there that is helpful. When u ask a question they just point and say look over there by the plants. Well there are olant every where. Obviously. The employees are rude and act like you are an inconvenience to them. I put in a request for about 800.00 worth of plants and was told someone would call me and advise when they would be in. No call. I called and was told they would call me when they come in. I asked how long that would be and was told it could be a month or so. Humm i need plants now. I asked for the manager to call me back and of course never heard from them. Though Folsom is closer to me I traveled to Florin Perkins Green Acres where the employees are very very nice, helpful, and lead you around to all your questions. Green Acres is supposedly a family owned business but i can tell you they are not managed the same. I hope they get some real employees in the Folsom store and train them to be helpful, professional and family like.

It has outdoor furniture, more indoor plants and items, but the plant selection outside was a little disappointing. I would go here for supplies, indoor plants, furniture, but I would go to Sacramento for outdoor plants and trees.

Green Acres Nursery in Folsom has knowledgeable sales people to help you out with garden issues. I wanted an alternative to pesticide spray on my apple trees and was directed to "organic" product that works excellent on coddling moths. Good selection of plants too.

Super friendly staff and well stocked store. I bought my Big Green Egg here and they had everything I needed and delivered it to my home with no hassle. Just recently we bought our Christmas tree here and it was also a great experience. The tree selection was great and they helped us load the tree onto the car. If you are shopping for trellises, Green Acres has the absolute best prices and the quality is good. I wish they would post their prices online because I almost bought mine from one of the "big box" stores or the lumber yard near me. But, I suppose that is how they keep prices low: not overextending themselves with a complex online presence. Their ceramic pots - when on clearance - are competitively priced. When not on clearance, their selection is excellent and no more expensive than anywhere else. Their plants are healthy and I have never had a "fail", and this is someone with a black rather than green thumb. But, best of all, their customer service is EXTREMELY knowledgeable. I even brought in an irrigation timer that I brought somewhere else that I messed up and one of the managers fixed it for me!!! This place is awesome, and that's coming from the most cynical person on the planet.

This is the newest Green acres in the Folsom citrus heights area. Conveniently located behind the Costco.It's a big store well laid out and they have a lot of plants and products. They even have pumpkins now for the holidays!
