Usually when you go into a nursery you walk around not knowing anything about the trees and you are wanting help but there is no one around. I went Into Moon Valley expecting it to be like every other place I’ve been to. I walked In and I was greeted right away with several smiling faces. I was just expecting to walk through the place without help but one of the Nursery Professionals, Cameron, walked with me the whole way and he was very helpful. I ended up spending a little bit more than i wanted, but considering how exceptional the customer service was and how great the trees looked I was in love with my purchase. Definitely going to recommend them and will 100% be back to buy more trees. ~Solomon Shammas

Where do I start....From beginning to the very end these guys exceeded all expectations. Thomas guided us through the beginning stages letting us know what we needed. He came out and marked everything, further providing guidance and his expertise. Tyler and his crew came out for the installation and did an amazing job. They let us know when they were on their way and fully kept us updated as they worked. They were careful with moving the rocks out of the way for digging and replaced them when they were done. They cleaned up all of their mess and left the yard looking spectacular. I cannot stop gushing over how good of a job they did. So impressed...

Moon Valley did an excellent job removing an old dead tree. They also ground the stump well below ground to the point where no digging was needed to plant a new tree. We're happy with all the work Moon Valley has done for us.

Moon Valley Nursery does have some very lovely trees, shrubs and plants, however they haven't any morals or ethics.. I purchased my home 4 years ago in the West Valley but shopped at 7th street and signed a large contract with them to have my Irrigation system updated plus purchased a ton of plants and one citrus tree. The contract was for 8,000, which I am still paying off. Well let me tell you 12 plants died within the first few months and now I just had the Irrigation redone again due to poor materials used. My landscapers father shook his head...when dealing with moon valley 4 years ago they did not return phone calls after the first week..I can go on and on...but won't. Folks by the plants there but have your own landscaper do the rest of the job you'll be happier and Moon Valley shame on your family business for taking advantage of a local individual.

What a great experience I had with Marz at the Moon. I came in working on a small install project and he was more then happy to help. With his expertise, I was able to pick out 2 really nice ash trees. They are set up for install next week. He made the entire process, from start to finish, super easy. I know I will be going back to see Marz at the Moon for my next landscape project.

I purchased a bunch of trees from Matt. He was very informative about trees. That was important to me because this was my first time getting trees and landscaping a backyard. I had a good time walking around and learning. Matt stopped by my place to check out my yard and give advice on how many trees I should get and where I can save some money. I will definitely purchase from here, again. I chose this location over the Tatum location because Matt was so helpful from the start. He never made me feel stupid for asking questions and he never ignored my questions like the people at the other location. If your looking to purchase trees go see Matt.

This place is the best! They have everything from young tropicals to mature shade trees. They even have all the veggies and succulents I might want. I've been in a few times and the staff is always really nice and welcoming. It's good to see professional individuals who are knowledgeable and passionate about the plants. I'll definitely be back!

What a great company! The Moon Valley difference is apparent right off the bat, when you notice how lush the nursery is. This theme continues with their genuine customer service, and knowledgeable staff. I came in to buy a few shrubs for my yard and will definitely be coming back when I can plant more trees!

I have went to this tree lot for the past, I don't know 20 years. The last couple have not been a pleasant experience. They used to have great people working there and fair prices. Not so much anymore. I went there this year and was told there was a tree shortage and that is that. I have now purchased a really great fake tree. Not only did they lose my business this year but for how many more years now. This was all because of a $10.00 difference when they had the tags wrong. Not the money, but more so the people. Just not the Christmas spirit that used to be there. Sorry!!!

Purchased all my bushes, trees, and vines from Mo at Moon valley and he was extremely patient and helpful in the process, offering feedback and advice on choice and the size of the plants. I made a few mistakes and brought some plants back in good health and they very quickly swapped me for the right choice. You may pay more but the service was great and ALL my plants are doing really well, which I can’t say for what I bought at Home Depot. Thanks again Mo!!

In July, 2018, we bought a 4 ton ficus from here. They brought it out, placed it in the yard with with a crane. It was amazing. Expertly done and a beautiful specimen. I'm actually heading back today for mature backyard plants.

Over-promised and under-delivered. I paid for 3 services - tree removal, stump grinding, and help with new irrigation layout for upcoming landscape project. The tree removal portion was the only piece done correctly, professionally, and on time. The stump grinding portion left me cleaning my pool for over 2 hours (dealing with stains and pulling apart pool cleaner to remove rocks and debris, cleaning the pool overall), picking wood chips out of portions of our car, and repairing broken pipes that were covered up. It's been nearly 2 months and I still have nothing to show for irrigation layout service. Moon Valley refused to address any of the concerns or refund the money for a service they still haven't delivered on. To add insult to injury they offered to apply the fee as a credit to a future purchase of their overpriced plants or trees.

I can't say enough good things about Moon Valley and my recent experience that I had there with Thomas. He answered the phone , looked up my account, and went way above and beyond being helpful . He not only answered all my questions but volunteered to drop off " moon juice" for my distressed plants that suffered lack of water from a broken irrigation system while I was out of town. We live near each other and he volunteered to drop off the moon juice on his way home. He also volunteeredto look at my sick plants. He wouldn't accept a tip, nor did he ask me to write this review. He is an exceptionally knowledgeable and kind human being and I can't thank him enough. Love Moon Valley!!! They put in our irrigation system and entire yard 6 yrs ago. Their products work!!! Thank you Thomas!!!

Bryce and his tree/bush trim crew arrived promptly after having called to notify me of their expected arrival time. I’m fussy about my landscaping, wanting a natural desert look. The Chilean Mesquites should show a graceful appearance and yet thinned appropriately to withstand Monsoon winds. I am delighted with the result. The trees are just as I expected and the Oleander has been slightly trimmed to allow the newer plants to catch up with the older growth. The crew raked and blew the trimmed debris and even blew and skimmed leaves that had fallen in my pool! Bravo to this crew! I hope to see you next year.

It was my first time to Moon Valley Nursery and I was so impressed! It is such a well organized nursery with a logical layout. We appreciate all of the clear signage and prices. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, and we were even offered bottled water on a warm day. The staff members make shopping for trees and plants less overwhelming.

Bought two Chinese elms and had Moon Valley plant them. Had to have them come back out and dig up again because they were planted on an angle, fast forward three months and both trees are dead. I'm out 1,800.00 and I'm sure it's due to them digging them up a second time. Honestly thought about smalls claims court but want to move on, never again. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else, this place is bottom of the barrel.

Where do i begin? Wow. So a couple of weeks ago in that storm i lost a huge tree that completely shaded the front of my house amd i immediately noticed the heat difference in my house so a buddy tells me about "the Moon". I walk in and instead find Marz, no kidding that was my designers name. He was great he walked around with me and helped me decide on the best option to get my house back in the shade. After carefully weighin the pros/cons we selwct a Ficus a big beautiful ficus. Marz take me in the office and when selcting a plantimg date Cameron, one of the managers gets involved and even helped get me a discount for being a veteran. Plantikg day comes and John Markel shows up with his crew to plant it and the tree is sooo big Russell Reed comes out in what looks like a small tank amd plants the tree perfectly. My yard was a mess when they got here and now it is beautifuk again ajd my office is once again cool. Muchas Gracias

Bo installed landscaping at my 16 rental units late 2017. Yesterday, there was a strong storm in Phoenix. All my landscaping; trees and shrubs, are still PERFECT. This, in contrast to where I personally rent, an under 5 years new apartment complex, there are many downed trees. Most are due to rooting, some are broken at the trunks. Some are just a few feet taller than my rental unit's trees, and I know they have been here over a year since I moved in.

As an experienced landscaper I often went to Moon Valley Nursery, I will no longer. Their employees work off commission and once they have their money they don't care. You can't even leave feedback on their website to tell them, they know they are the largest Nursery in the valley, what they don't know is that aren't too big to fail. Regardless they will be getting no more money from me or my customers.
