Not the cheapest garden shop in town but their staff are friendly and very helpful, along with having a decent inventory a hard to find gardening items and during the Spring a huge selection of flowers plants and vegetables that have already been growing during the winter in their greenhouses and ready to be planted in the ground when you purchase them. They do not offer any kind of discount but have a rewards program that doesn't give you very much for the amount of money that you spend with them. On average I spend about three to $400 a year with them and receive a reward coupon for about $10

I go to Mill & Feed twice a month at least. I really hate the plastic bags that they've gone to, I'd rather they use paper feed bags. The feed is a decent price, it's not the cheapest and it's not the most expensive. My birds love it. There are so many products in the store I couldn't possibly talk about all of them. The staff is really friendly and now it's cooperatively owned so every time you shop there you're helping the employees as much as the business.

Know a former employee and he had a lot of good things to say about how they handle and sell the dog food there. Seems like you can occasionally run into a bad bag of premium dog food. The dogs will become ill or stop eating it. Whether it's mold, mildew, old age, or some other reason the food is or goes bad I am not sure. This rarely happens when we buy our dog food here. They did raise their prices and am not sure what to think about amazon yet for ordering our dogs food to save a few dollars.

They supply many of the farms and ranches too with a nice variety of garden supplies, chicken keeping, beer making, bee keeping, vermicomposting, bird feederss, etc. In the summer they sell perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees. It's also the place I go for git ideas. The staff are helpful and friendly.
