This little shop is the best place in town to pick up locally sourced meat, vegetables, beer and wine, and dairy products. I started doing a meat share with Raikowski farms in 2014 and have not been disappointed yet. The share has a great variety each time and the owner Sara is friendly and helpful. Every time I visit the store I get eggs, meat and a sweet treat from a local bakery.

Just Killing Time

Small, quaint, and rather eclectic shop. Primarily, they sell foodstuffs that aren't available at your local grocery store, like bison, for instance. All of their meats, produce, and eggs are all locally obtained. Its a neat place to get something obscure and expand your culinary horizons. The only downside is that you will absolutely need to go to a conventional grocery store afterwards to get the rest of the ingredients to make that quinoa and bison chili recipe you found online. MoS deals in the rare and exotic.... rarely the ordinary. But I still love going in there for foodie inspiration!

Hands down the BEST place to buy meat. The owners are great and are always willing to answer questions, their products are incredibly high quality and delicious- it's the only place I'd consider going. We purchase all of our meat, eggs, coffee from them and would recommend them unequivocally to anyone.
