I'm so disappointed with the lack of customer service I received today at the Hwy 10 garden center. The store was empty. I went to the seed aisle and waited for an employee to finish his conversation at the "employee only door" with another employee. When the conversation was finished. He looked at me and walked away. Ok, so I went to the cashier and told her I had a concern I wanted to share concerning seeds.. She said she would get John. She returned without John but wanted to know more about my concern. John was busy. As I was finishing telling her why I came in she said oh, here comes John. I waited while she went up and talked to john again (the same guy who walked away from me in the seed aisle). She never returned and John walked away. I've been a loyal customer in the past. I have purchased many trees, shrubs, herbs, and all my garden seeds from Jungs....But not anymore!!

Always a stop throughout the spring and summer. The workers don't always offer their Jung dollars so you have to ask. Moderate to expensive in cost

We checked the hours and drove from north of Merrill to Jungs just to find they were closed due to inclement weather. Frustrating to spend time and money to have gone there.

Awesome. Their plants are healthy and ready to go. They are great with instructions for future care and they have a 1 year warranty. Doesn't get any better than that.

I wish I knew the the name of the person that helped us out. She had given us tips on planting starter trays and what seeds to buy, what soil to use and which soils would work better for what we were planting. This very kind person took the time we needed and moved on quickly to help others. I am sorry I did not get her name, but she studied at UW point. Best visit to Jung Garden Center. Thank you

Definitely a traditional full service garden center chain with a huge variety. This is what they do, not a seasonal sideline to selling lumber, hardware, or landscaping. Wisconsin business with a full catalog on-line. Down side is they tend to be a little more expensive.

Not enough knowledge employees, you'll have to do your own research. May 11th they still have good selection of bare root trees. Seems like there's always a jam-up at the checkout.

Virtually NO service. I asked for assistance and was told to go in the greenhouse and someone would help. Nobody came. The store was not busy, so I figure they don't need my business. I left after waiting around for over 20 minutes. I'll go to the big box stores for better service and better prices

Expensive. Seed potatoes were $8 for three pounds.....ridiculous price. I went down the road and bought 5lbs for $5.50 from competitor.

The staff here have always been helpful when I have questions, and I'm consistently pleased with the greenhouse plants and springtime seedlings Jung's has to offer. In the throes of a Wisconsin winter, the Jung's greenhouse is a lovely little oasis to brighten spirits.

A really diverse selection of seeds, bulbs and bare root plants plus all kinds of seed and plant growing acoutraments like trays, soils, labels, grow lights, pots, composting aids. It used to be that they had a large greenhouse for tropical houseplants but that has been moved indoors and while they still have plants it's not as diverse or large as before which is disappointing. I know they will have lots of bedding plants and trees later in the season as well. Oh and they have garden art stuff all over. Unfortunately, l wish they would spend more time training their staff. Maybe they were just tired towards the end of the day but we didn't feel too welcome and our checker was not very interested in making sure our pots were wrapped carefully to protect from breaking as we traveled home.

I’m from Chicago so I pretty much know rude people. My grandmother and I stopped by on Monday and there were 4 adult employees sitting, chit chatting by the register. Not ONE ‘hello’, or ‘can I help you with anything’, not a single greeting. We were there for about 15-20 minutes before I told my grandma if we can leave because I don’t want to give these our business. I work in customer service and no matter what if you have a meeting or if you are just chatting, sitting down doing nothing you ALWAYS greet your customers.

Bought some Lupine seeds and they sprouted within five days of planting when the packet said they would germinate after 14 days. Have had very good luck with their seeds. Their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Good selection of seeds and pots. Difficult to tell beyond that because 1) I visited in February and 2) the store was in disarray because they were putting everything back together after having taken all up to have the floor waxed. :)

Years ago this was my go to nursery,the employees actually knew about plants. Now most have no idea what your talking about,dont seem interested in finding out answers, and unfortunately employees are no longer very friendly. As of today will no longer shop here.
