Some of the prices are still too high, so shop for sale items. Deli is nice though, with lots of choices. And the added benefit is you don't have to contend with Eastpointe and New Pointe traffic.

This is a nice little store. It is the only grocery store in town besides the Dollar General which also sells some grocery items. The staff is always friendly, and the store does have good sales.

Never usually crowded. Decent options for name brand food. Some things are overpriced, but not bad if you're in a pinch and local. Prompt service in the deli. Usually have good stock of both macro and micro brews.

This store must get all the reject fruit and vegetables. Lots of expired food on the shelves. I feel sorry that the people in Terra Alta township are subjected to shopping at this store. It is truly one of the worst grocery stores I have ever been in. The community deserves better. The owner and mangers should be ashamed of themselves.

Selection and stock is usually pretty decent and the prices are comparable. The issue, repeatedly, is trying to get out of the place with one's items in a timely fashion. Several times there has been only one register open with a line winding into the food aisles of people waiting to check out. When a person gets to stand there for a long period one can take notice of how many employees are wandering around and talking to each other behind the service counter versus opening another register. Opening another register for the customers with many items would be ideal versus having people stand around for 20-30 minutes thinking about what they will write in a review.

Great deals, usually friendly employees. No complaints from us about the place. Just try not to go on the days their orders come in. Employees are running all around, attempting to get everything done while still helping customers. Those employees deserve a raise..

I love their deli, and they have delicious fresh baked goods. I recommend going on their 3 day sale events and stocking up on sale items. The workers are very friendly as well. I would give 5 stars if their prices were more competitive with other grocery stores on everyday items that are not on sale.

This place is seriously a mess. I don't know how people on here are giving it good reviews. You can't even get past the parking lot without realizing how run down it is. There prices are high and the employees are rude. The selection of meat is awful and i wouldn't buy meat there is someone paid me. The cleanliness of a store is a clear indicator that food and produce is not handled properly.

Small town pharmacy. Always helpful and polite. They fill prescriptions in a timely fashion and make sure you know all the info before you leave. They have a craft and decorative section that always smells wonderful.

This is pretty much one of the very few stores that is less then half hr plus drive from me so I am limited on where I can get certain items such as produce and fresh meats. This place has very limited selection of produce so it sucks and same for the meat selection. Almost always when I go to checkout there is only one MAYBE two registers open and lines all the way to the aisles and very irritated customers. One cashier will talk and talk to everyone and totally forget to ring u up or is extremely slow and holds everything up. When she works all the repeat customers know this and will stand in another line no matter how many customers there are ahead of them. I even seen her line completely empty while other line backed up due to the fact she rather talk to u then check u out. I don't mind talking to the cashier at all but this cashier forgets she is ringing u out and she takes forever.

This is a new addition to Bridgeport in 2016. It's much more convenient than fighting the traffic at Eastpointe/Newpointe. The trade off is that the prices are slightly higher. Otherwise, the shelves are always kept well stocked, and the staff is readily available to help.

For a small-town store, their selection was very broad, with many good choices in every category. We did not purchase fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, or baked goods, so I can't speak to that, but the selection on all other types of food goods was excellent. (That included beer and wine.) The staff was competent, and the young lady who checked us out knew her job well, was polite, and pleasant.

Meat prices are the best in the area. Place is pretty trashy and a lot of the employees appear to hate their jobs while others are great. I don't think I have ever visited without walking by an employee or two enjoying a smoke on the bench out front. Seems like an odd policy for smoke breaks. Occasionally they do have very good sales, however the regular prices seem a bit high. (Other than the meat, great prices on fresh butcher products!

This shop and save is ok clean. Not filthy / not sparkling. Most of the employees are not very friendly at all. I have been brought into the store for a sale special to be told they ran out. Seeing I was there first thing I sort of have trouble believing this. The special was an awesome sale so I think they mislead you just to get you in the store but don’t really have the item. They did give a rain check for ONE of the items, even thought the sale didn’t restrict quantities.

I will NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN! The poor girl that was working as cashier was the only one at a real register. I had at least 40 items so self checkout was not happening. Thing is there are many self checkout lanes and why? Are you paying me now to spend outrages prices and then have me total up and bag everything and not get a discount? So that's how you treat your paying customers and keep people from jobs? My cashier actually said to me because she was upset because she worked for three hours without a break by herself, that she hated people. Something really nice to tell me. When I paid I messed up and used the wrong debit card therefore entered the wrong pin. Yes it was my fault but her reaction did not help me and the other person behind me in line seem to get very upset with me. After I pulled out the correct card I felt bad but I shouldn't have because she just gave me a look after telling me she hated people and basically her job. I don't even live in Bridgeport but the shop and save in Shinnston, which is closer for me, is filthy and even worse when it comes to other things. I guess Kroger's will be getting my business from now on. The Adamston shop and save seems the best.
