I love my orkin service! We had huge spiders and ants in our house when we first moved in- more than I could handle. For Orkin’s fee I couldn’t even buy the store treatments and use as recommended. So it was a no brainer! Plus anytime I need an additional visit they schedule and come right out for no extra fee. It’s a piece of mind that my home is protected! And my service technician, Dave, is wonderful! He makes everything so easy! He’s the best!

Pro-My Orkin technician was very pleasant during the initial spray. Cons- I have discussed with the technician and the Orkin representative that arranged my service that I MUST have someone to call and arrange an appointment for my home to be sprayed. I was assured that would not be a problem. The representative that I initially spoke with, very confidently I informed me that Orkin would not operate in any other fashion. I live in an environment that is insect rich and I want the service that I am paying for to be thorough every time. I do not want half of the service complete (only the outside) and I want to be present when the service is performed.

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. It took them over 3 months to complete a job that was suppose to done in 1-2 visits. We had to call multiple times and complain to get any work done. Multiple managers have been to the house before any progress. Still trying to get corrected payment book from them. Overall one of the worst experiences we have had with a company.

I called to schedule an appointment and they said they would come out the same day and offered a couple different times. I had to move a lot of my schedule around to make it work but I chose between 2-4pm. I rushed to get some work done in order to be here for the appointment. Around 1:50pm I checked the phone and saw I had a voicemail from Orkin and they said to give them a call back. I called right back. The guy said they were calling earlier to see if I would take an earlier appointment because they had an opening. I told him thanks for checking with me but there is no way I could have made an earlier appointment and had to jump through hoops to make the 2-4pm work. Then he said “well we sent the Orkin guy an hour away since you didn’t answer your phone when I called earlier”. I already accepted and confirmed my appointment for between 2-4pm. What since does it make for them to skip me and go to someone else’s house when even if I did answer the phone earlier I couldn’t have accepted and earlier appointment? He said if I would have answered and told them no I could do earlier I would have kept my 2-4pm slot. That makes zero sense. What makes sense is this is a reflection of the piss poor service I could’ve expected in the future if I retained their services. Then the guy has the audacity to say “ when you want to set another appointment to call and ask for him.” Lol.

I have. Antz because there’s a colony out in my yard. Do you are not have the equipment or the materials to put some kind of bomb or something off in the yard. Because other caught the companies are telling me that they do. They said things in your yard that take care of the ant colony. I’m not satisfied. Not in the least. I shouldn’t have to do this over and over and over again to get rid of ants when there’s a solution

First of all, we did not know that we were scheduled for a service today; therefore, we were not at home. Secondly, we have not had an inside service for several visits. Lastly, I hope that the fee we are charged does not include an inside service, because if it does, we need credited. If this level of service continues, we will choose a different company. We had a major ant invasion that we had treated for weeks with Terro, but this time we continued to have ants. Called Orkin, they came out within hours and problem was solved. Technician was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Follow-up calls are free, and you can opt out of ongoing service at any time. Better experience than I'd had with another national chain in the past.
