Pretty low variety of ready food. Not that fresh pastry.

I grew up eating a lot of the food sold here, though it was unexpected to see a Russian deli in Washington Heights. The kielbasa and pickled tomatoes here are terrific. And if you've never had a pickled tomato before, you must try one!

This place is right outside my apartment so I go in there all the time for a tasty sweet treat. The double chocolate truffle cake is especially good and a great indulgence after a long day at work. I love being able to stop in on my way home without going out of the way. I really don't buy much of their grocery products but the fresh baked goods are outstanding!

Topher Ziobro

Cozy, authentic place you'd think you were in Russia. I couldn't read most of the product titles but the images looked tasty and the counter is filled with fresh made pastries, meats, and pickled vegetables. Imported cookies, flavored delicacies, or cheeses this is your place to go.

This place have to be inspected by the health department and the people in this store are savages.. am so truly sorry to say .. but have to

I was a regular customer there for about a year. And still would be if didn't move. Friendly and nice people, good and fresh food. Visit in person and you won't be disappointed.

Lyuda Kovalchuke

If you say you're open until 10, the store shouldn't be locked up and dark at 9:50.

This is such a cute cozy ethnic grocery store. I went in and discovered all kinds of Russian desserts, cookies, chocolates, herring, cheese, milk and almost everything you could think of as Russian. We sampled their kielbasa, cheese, pickles and pickled tomato and they are delicious! The kielbasa is smoky and dense. I also bought some of the chocolate truffles and they are inexpensive and very good. Would like to come back and try their cakes and pastries!

This small shop has everything Russian! Make sure you pick up some Kielbasa, stop by the dessert section and stock up on caviar. The staff is extremely helpful.

I have been the store's regular customer, having spent a few thousand on food during the last 6 months. I was pretty happy with them, till we hit the road block. The last delivery was of ROTTEN food. ROTTEN. "Herring under blanket" was fermented and stinking. They obviously knew it was rotten as they had put loads of raw onions to camouflage the stench. "Olivier" salad was rotten as well. They also have substituted one item they were missing with something else. I have emailed them THREE times. I have been trying to get hold of them by phone. they are gone IMCOMMUNICADO for three days now.

Great little store for finding eastern European foodstuffs.

Definitely one of the larger selections of Russian/Soviet foods in Manhattan, even more interesting that it's so far uptown. Lots of cookies, snacks, meats (have the kielbasa), and of course - pickled things! Get the pickled grape tomatoes, words can't describe how good they are.

(Translated by Google) Awful place, half of the dairy is expired, bread is covered in mold and prices make no sense. Very bad store, lucky with the food 1 time, the rest of the time either they have all expired, or bread in the mold. The seller is lying about the expiration date of the goods and much more. (Original) Awful place, half of the dairy is expired, bread is covered in mold and prices make no sense. Очень плохой магазин, повезло с продуктами 1 раз, остальное время либо у них все просроченное, либо хлеб в плесени. Продавец лжет по поводу срока годности товара и многом другом.

This store is the best grocery store in all of Manhattan!!! I have been shopping here for a very long time now and am so happy to have found Moscow on the Hudson. Shopping here is always a treat the Russian food is authentic always fresh and so yummy, the cakes are so amazing and just too yummy!!!! I don't know how they found such great bakers but I am always so amazed by the cakes. The staff there has always been nothing but nice and so professional to me and my family whether we shop online and get home delivery or go into the store. I truly love Marina and all of her staff I will continue to shop here for many years to come. I just love you all now and always!!!!

Who would have thought you could get a bit of Russia uptown in the Heights! It's a tiny joint, but has a nice variety of food to nosh on that is authentic if you want to experience Russian food. They have pasteries, meats, cheeses, and other delish things to nosh on. If you like it pickled this is a place for you!

Visited this place second time in my life (before new year) and there was a cool dude and he look liked Hugh Jackman. I called him wolverine and his coworker she was laughing about that. Great store. If you wanna try some russian food here you go.

Love it!

Cool Russian market. Love this place. All things Russian.

Traci Cappiello

I peeked into this shop during our food tour and it was so cute, with the largest selection of Russian good I've ever seen - and I've seen goods in my neighborhood in Brooklyn. The kielbasa is served cold, not my cup of tea, but very, very flavorful and quite filling. I'd love to take some home next time, grill it and serve with potatoes and dill.

Richard Hernandez

cold cuts are great an you can't beat the pastries good prices

Amazing food and great service. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for traditional Russian food.

It's nice to be able to occasionally get some Russian treats without tracking all the way down to Brighton Beach. But you should know: this store is tiny, and leaves you wishing for more in terms of choice and service.

I just moved to Manhattan, and I thought I'd never find a Russian store in this area. But I did! In fact, it's the only Russian store in Manhattan that makes delivery. I order almost every week, and if I place my order before 2 pm, they deliver it on the same day. Regarding assortment, they have almost all Russian food, pretty decent Russian cosmetics. My favorite is Jewish Kielbasa and zephyr Udarnitsa - highly recommend. Employees are nice too, I befriended one of them:) Prices are normal for Manhattan. The only bad thing is that it's sooo hard to find a parking lot, so I have to take the A train to 180 St.

Does this place sell cosmetics in actual store? I wanted to order online but I see reviews that people get packages with missing items and etc. Do they have same products in actual store? Thank you for help!

A small and cute store with a good variety of imported food (eastern European, Russian, Ucrainian, Belorussian, some Georgian, some made in Brooklyn). You can find good bread (not a bakery there but it is fresh), diary (milk, sour cream, butter, farm cheese, kefir, cheese), spices and sauces, honey, herring, perogy - dumplings (very good pelmeni, with ground meat, or potatoes, or potatoes and mushrooms, or farm cheese, or sour cherries), sausages, saliami, pastries, sweets, candies, chocolate, fruit and vegetable preserves, coffee, tea, sodas, juices and many more. It was a surprising discovery and if you know what kind of food is that - then definitely you should visit this store. They accept as a payment method cash, debit cards but not all the credit cards.
