Delicious. Great pies. However. I don't know if I've just had bad luck but the apple pies are never actually filled. Always kind of hollow. Almost as though the bakery peeps don't know that you need a lot of apples. It's happened a few times.

I grew up in Yakima and we've always bought fruit from them because it's always great! I now live out of town but came to Yakima recently for a wedding where they served Johnson Orchards pies. I had a slice of the Peach Raspberry pie and it's the best piece of pie I've ever eaten. I can't stop thinking about it! I also tried the lemon tart with shortbread crust that was equally delicious! I highly recommend this place.

I have been going to Johnson's Orchards for approximately 9 years. for the freshest fruit in town, this is the place; the variety is grand, also depending on the time of year. They have their own Bakery and the pies produced are simply delicious!! It's a family business, the staff is family and are the most courteously and friendliest! A must!! Come in soon, fruits are coming in according to season, there will be times when you and family can pick your own fruit from their orchards. Order your pies, cookies and special treats in advance, as they sell out very fast: they bake the very best deserts in Yakima.

We live in Oregon and go to Yakima occasionally during the year. We purchase our fruit there. It is of the best quality, the staff and owners always helpful and very nice. The peaches and apples are our favorites and the baked goods are hard to resist. It is especially nice to shop at a family business that cares about their customers. Old family-owned you pick and tons of fresh picked fruit you can buy! Great pies! Made right there on the property. The crust looked kind of sturdy and I was worried it wouldn't be very good, but it was delicious! They're a little spendy, $25. But there is a $5 core charge for the pipe pan. Well worth 20 bucks! People who were working there were very very personable! And the fruit is to die for!
