A gourmet gem in the rough. Excellent breakfast sandwiches, pastries and sandwiches made on premises. Espresso, coffee and groceries with fast friendly service. Most importantly, it opens at 0500, unlike the rest of the places that serve coffee in Leavenworth! Also has charging station for 20 Tesla's in the near by parking lot!?!???

Good local spot. Produce looked in good shape, had good options for everything we needed. It's not a supermarket like the big box up the road, but it's a lot bigger than you'd think. Also has fresh deli eats (where locals were gnoshing) and espresso with inside seating. Prices aren't awesome, but it's Leavenworth, after all.

The super market just gave our family a horrible experience, we have an electric car and they have opted for a dusin charge spots but every single one of them was occupied by regular gas cars. I even saw an employee get out to pick something up from their truck in full uniform see us waiting for a charge spot and ignore us. Suffice to say we took our business elsewhere.

Excellent produce, since the owner often carries fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms from local growers. The staff is very friendly and casual while remaining professional. The owner often checks in with customers to ensure that they either find what they're looking for, or - if the store doesn't have what they're looking for and it's a popular-request item - beginning to carry it. The store has updated a lot in the past few years, all for the better, and continues to upgrade in order to keep the coolers and produce shelves in up-to-date condition. The inner deli is a common lunch stop for locals, features one of the best quality fried chicken, and has a part where you can order custom sandwiches for a reasonable price. When I visit Leavenworth from Tri-Cities, I still make a point to stop at Dan's to get their produce; it's worth the trip.

Dan's does a great job, it is a small but well curated selection from local producers as well as the crowd favorites. I am a big fan of Lookout Coffee roasted in Leavenworth and they are one of the only places that has it.

Dan's is good in terms of a small city super market. I have been there several times and I am always happy with the options. The store is well stocked and it is clean. Dans offers local brands that can't be found outside this area. The deli prices are comparable to the Safeway down the road but are usually fresher than Safeway. I have no idea if there is a public bathroom.The prices are very reasonable considering Dan's is not a national store or corporate store. My interactions with employees have been positive. The only down side is Dan's is in a smaller older building and the aisles are narrow. There are only three check out stands when it is busy so sometimes it can take a little longer than might be expected to pay for your items. The location is conveniently located at the intersection of Chimstick Highway and Highway 2.There is plenty of parking for cars pickups and SUVs but RVs and larger vehicles will need to park off street. Also there is several Tesla charging stations.

A most eclectic and interesting establishment. They have a deli counter in back for small bites, desserts & coffee. Alas there was no German style cheesecake. In the grocery area there was a well stocked cooler with a good assortment of beverages. And a good variety of sundre and grocery items.

Catty cashier.. we were in Leavenworth for the first night of Christmas tree lighting & elected to park here on their adjacent lot. The cashier rudely informed us that it was "cash ONLY" Really? In a credit/ debit card world? INCREDIBLY RUDE... Not much else to say... Next year, we will pay $10-15 more to park elsewhere... It would've been worth it to avoid this being how we were spoken to upon arrival for the festivities.

Where the locals shop. Great produce quality and selection, both traditional and organic. St Helens meats are outstanding and priced well below the chain store. The deli is probably the lunch favorite of the locals looking for a quick custom sandwich at a great price. Dan's.does a great job of staying price competitive with the big chain down the road, but also excels in convenience and friendly customer service. If there are more than 1 person waiting, a staff member swings in and opens another checkout station. Homefires Bakery makes artisan breads, pies, cookies and sweets.

Had a horrible experience from the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out! All the workers stared at me like I had the plague and watched me like a hawk. Then when I went to checkout the cashier did not greet me, tell me my amount owed nor say goodbye. She was more interested in holding a conversation with another worker. Dans is where I like to go for produce. Almost always less expensive than safeway and usually better quality as well. They have less variety of course because of there smaller size. Dans often carries local grown produce as well, such as local apples. There JoJos from the deli are vegan. Safeway s are not. That matters to me. It's easy to get case prices on boxes of produce, such as an entire box of apples or sweet potatoes saving quite a bit of money.

I can't get enough of Dan's. Dan's is a Leavenworth institution and a great local grocery store. Prices are competitive (for a tourist town) and there are often good sale items. For a small grocer, there is great selection and you can really tell that the owners and staff deeply care about it. Staff are friendly and it is always clean and perfectly stocked. The shelves are immaculate. Carries Western Family for it's knockoff brand. They accept tap & pay phone payments.

Tesla chargers are needed for charging Tesla cars. Dan's Market refuses to ask gas cars, that are blocking these chargers, to move. This is the same as blocking all of the pumps at the only gas station for 90 miles. Until this attitude is changed, it is time to boycott Dan's Market!

I grew up in a small town environment and Dan's made me feel at home. Everyone there was great. Let me start out by saying they have amazing fried chicken. It's was perfect. Not greasy, fatty and not dried out. It was so good I went back a second day and tried more fromthe deli ,a roast beef panini. Great food great prices and service that was second to none. I wish this store was close to my home and not three hours away. Try to make it in for one of their daily specials but go in early because they do sell out.
