Our RV Adventures

Stopped in a few weeks before Memorial Day, so the variety of produce was limited. Bought some fo their jams and local maple syrup. Visited with the goats and chickens.

Fresh herbs year round from field and or green house. Providers of local cheeses, ice creams, dressings, eggs, pasta, plus. Their own maple syrups and sugar house with tastings during mud season (around late February to early April depending on the weather each year.) Their own orchard apples and many of their own veggies including Gilfeather turnips. They have a pick-your -own berries location. Home baked goods include pies, cookies, bars and more. Greenhouse annuals, perrenials, nursery trees and shrubs. Live farm animals in Manchester location.

The produce is local and of superior quality at great prices. I purchased this years light golden Syrup, the taste is excellent!! Great locally grown fruits and vegetables all year round. Maple syrup made on the premises, homemade pies, cakes and cookies, local cheeses. We got our Christmas tree there this year, and in the summer we have to get their wonderful maple creamies. A terrific, friendly farm stand.

Real Vermont farm. I met the man and shook his hand at the Newfane store where the baking operation is. Humble helpful folks. Honest ingredients. Fantastic baked goods. Fair prices for outstanding produce. Well served at all of their location. .. today's local corn... pies from their own berries.

Dutton's is known for their strawberries which are truly excellent when in season. There is also lots of fresh produce to choose from. And if you're a gardener there's a lot for you here. I used to like to stop in for a cookie every now and then but they changed the recipe and now the cookies are not nearly as good. And to add insult to injury, they raised the price 20 cents. Also, they tout their maple creemees but don't bother. Their small creemee is so small that the ice cream barely pokes its nose out of the cone. The last time I had one I think the cone had been in the box for about a year. Stale and chewy. Avoid them.

Good local produce at reasonable prices, as well as a well-stocked nursery. They don't necessarily have the selection to avoid a trip to one of the nearby supermarkets, but we usually think it's worth it to make the second stop. Pro-tip: Get the maple soft-serve ice cream, then walk around looking at the farm with ducks, chickens, goats and donkey.

Friendly and informative staff! Great selection of local produce including local cheese, ice cream, crackers, wine including some good local wines. They make maple syrup on site so get there early spring and sample some still hot from the sugar shack!
