Had to buy some groceries for a week stay for working overnights. Wasn't too impressed with their "own brand". Turkey was dry and tasteless and their wheat bread didn't taste too good either. Other than that it's a decent place to shop if you're in a pinch.

It’s like Walmart except the produce is fresh and the workers aren’t disgruntled and the parking is bountiful and the lighting is warm like the sun in the big San Angelo sky.. the selection of protein and health products surpasses that of your typical in-and-out grocery procurement center. The preprepared meals aren’t gross. When I’m laying in bed, feeling a little down about myself around 12 am as I sometimes do I come to visit their vegan aisle and soak up the midnight majesty that is looking at passerby’s with contempt.. conveying judgment with my gaze, for their bodies are riddled with the thousand deaths of a thousand animals that they probably purchased from the really clean and well-stocked deli. (They carry most Boar’s Head products!) Their assortment of waters is extensive. Why does Chuck Norris endorse an artisan water? If you want to try Chuck Norris’s water, both locations carry it for a reasonable $1.75 All-in-all both locations are extremely clean and they usually employ enough people to run enough registers that you get through the checkout process so quickly that, if you’ve forgotten something and you send your wife or kid to get it, you’ll have to awkwardly ask the check out person to wait for their return while the person behind you stares right through you OR you won’t have time to say anything, you’ll exchange accepted currency for the selection of items you collected, and you’ll promise yourself that you WILL remember the deoterant next time and you hope that your coworkers don’t put in a hygiene complaint in until then. 10/10 will visit again

Store has undergone major renovations of the store floor plan. That said the employees are still very helpful.

Staff there is helpful, friendly and curtious. But one end of the store was a mess, unorganized and hard to make your way thru at that time, cause they decided to move sections of products to another isle while they were still open, instead of waiting to do it, when no customers would still be there trying to shop. Otherwise its usually pretty clean and straightened up.

Nice, clean store with many great options. The only downside is, it appears to be under renovations, some of the aisles were mixed up and we spend a fair amount of time looking for the items we needed. Would be back though, once the aisles are more finalized.

We want one of these where we live! Grocery shopping is a chore. Not something you look forward to doing. We were traveling and stopped to get a few snacks and drinks for our hotel room. We were very impressed with the selection of foods available. Instead of junk food we left with fresh sushi and A good bottle of champagne. This is what grocery stores should be. Fresh high quality produce. Not just cans and bags.

We really like going to this HEB mostly because it is a bit more familiar but also seems to have a larger selection. May just be me but I feel like the new HEB is smaller. I know for sure the toy isle is way smaller if you are looking for a toy while shopping would definitely recommend the old HEB they have a pretty good selection.

The new layout and arrangement of the store is confusing. As my wife and I shopped through the store the other day, we heard numerous customers complaining that they couldn't find anything because everything had been moved. On top of that we couldn't find any associates to help us find the things we were looking for. After a major rearrangement you would think they would have plenty of associates on hand to assist customers. Why is the biggest question? We love HEB, so I guess will be going to the new location from now on.

Has amazing customer service. Great selections and deals. In store coupons along with regular coupons make most items a steal. Associates and management remember me and take time to talk to me. I will make it a point to stop by the cooking connection where the man is inviting, engaging, and supplies awesome recipes. Once my shopping is complete I will look at each register to see whose working because I will wait in line for the friendly service from Kirkland, Mariah, or River. If none of them are there I will listen to how they greet the customers and go to the one I find most pleasant. Low prices and rarely out of stock it is my number one go to grocery store.

I love this store. The workers are amazing. I accidentally ordered a birthday cake for the wrong day and they completed it in less than 30 minutes. You will not get that kind of understanding and service anywhere else.

The staff at this HEB are rude. I picked up an in store coupon and grabbed the wrong item for the coupon. Got to the checkout and the cashier was rude about it and made me go and search for the correct item. I could not find it. She called themangwr over who didn’t explain the coupon and just gave a discount for the other item. I would have rather found the correct item but neither the manger or cashier told me about the wrong item. The bagger also didn’t put everything into my cart so I had to go back later on in the day to get my dish soap. I won’t be shopping at the heb on Sherwood way any time soon. Way to go new heb.

I am disabled and I had one of the motorized buggies. As I was completing my shopping the battery ran out of juice. I had my basket full when Alex a friendly employee saw my plight. He got me a charged buggie, then he transferred all my groceries from the old buggy to the new one. We chatted a bit then he took care of the discharged buggy. He made the time to be friendly and helpful. He was so kind a really nice guy. Then I was headed to the check out and the store manager saw how much I had in the buggy. I went to the register and he unloaded my buggy. My experience was a very very nice one. I plan to go back to this HEB for all my grocery shopping.

They have a huge selection of everything you need! They also have awesome holiday decorations during the end of the year. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I love that they give an option for curbside pickup, it really saves a lot of time! They also have very affordable prices. My favorite part of the store is probably their bulk food aisle :)

I picked up a very large order of fried chicken and rolls for our church during all the rain Sunday. The lady and young man (Aaron) from the Deli we're so helpful and kind. Aaron had me park at the door and stay in my car ,out of the rain, while he packed everything in my car! He was so kind. Thank you so much for your employees. They are exceptional ! The chicken was wonderful by the way ! Everyone wanted to know who prepared it.

H-E-B has the freshes produce. It's also has a great variety of fruit. The meat department puts out great cuts of meat. And they offer a little bit of everything from clothes to outdoor furniture. Very good place to shop rather it be for food or for hygiene products to even exterior furniture they will have at a reasonable price.
