I love to stock up on a week's vegetables at their unbelievably low prices. Sometimes it is best to take your purchases home and cook the whole batch right away. That way you can heat and eat what you like throughout the week or freeze portions for use later. Occasionally they may be close to the "use by" date so it can be best to cook right away.

Okay. Here you can buy FRESH produce. My experience has been mostly positive. Only drawback is that the produce has to be consumed within a couple days. I've noticed it doesn't have a long life such as produce from HEB,WALMART,or SPROUT'S. So buyer be aware. Don't be disappointed if produce doesn't "look" pretty. If you want pretty and longer life in your fridge then you'll just pay more at those places I mentioned before. It's cheap..cheap..cheap. So you can buy more of what you like. Freeze the rest. All my smoothies are pretty cheap to make because I freeze alot of my fruits. Example: 30 mango's for 5$ you can freeze that for later use. Use your imagination.✅

I don't like shopping here cause their parking lot are full of potholes and their produce get rotten easy. You have to use them right away or else it's gonna get rotten right away. Plus it's too far to drive down to Ayers or their Morgan location. It's very ghetto.

A small family operated store stocked with fruit and vegetables with low prices awaits the hungry shopper. I have shopped this location for nearly 30 yrs. A typical day shopping here I may spend $15. If I compare the prices I paid to a chain grocery store prices I saved $20. You definitely get more for your dollar. If your a "picky shopper", everything you eat has to be perfect without blemish then this is not your place to shop. Organic produce when available at very reasonable prices.

I don't know why there's so many hateful comments about this place, if your from Corpus Christi, I am, you will understand this place. If not then yes your probably not realizing the bargain you're getting. I think it's hilarious that people can be so judgemental over fruit lmfao it's fruit and vegetables guys calm down. The comment made about white people missing out was hilarious because when I went today there was an off duty firefighter leaving and he was white.
