Excellent peach ice cream. $3 for one scoop and $5 for 2 scoops. The peaches were about the same price as the orchards. Also sold other local fruits and vegetables as well as canned fruits and veggies. Since it is the end of the peach season, not too busy. Would like to see it at the height of season.

You want peaches, they have peaches! We lucked out on being there at the right time. Lots of "just about ripe" peaches on the shelves, peach ice cream for the road and all sorts of jams, chutneys, soaps, lotions and even pecans to bring back for gifts. I made a cobbler when I got home!

Charming store between Fredricksburg and San Antonio. However, the real draw was the peaches. Wife and mother bought a half-bushel, which only lasted a week or so. They were guessing the peaches were either on the ground or about to fall when harvested. We were on vacation and the peaches didn't even make it home. Had to throw most away. Very disappointing.

I visited Burg's Corner when I was little attending summer camp. We would stop by after Fredericksburg and have some ice cream or buy some fruit. The jellies, jams, butters, nuts and ice cream are always delicious. My favorite was the peach ice cream made fresh. The fruit which includes apples, peaches, pears, an assortment of berries, and many others were always tasty. If you're traveling this is a great stop!

If you love peaches, you'll love this place! Fresh peaches among other produce. They also offer jams, salsas, dressings, butters, and anything else peachy! Don't forget the peaches over ice cream! Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. A must stop for those traveling into the Hill Country!

Their fresh peach ice cream was good, but by 3 o'clock they were out of fredericksburg peaches, and only had them from Pittsburgh. They were still very good but I wanted fresh picked peaches.

When one lives in the South or Southwest Texas and shops for peaches, Fredericksburg peaches always comes to mind. Our good friend, Barbara who had lived in Fredericksburg, extolled the merits of the juicier peaches being harvested in Stonewall and took us to Burg's Corner. Met by a likeable friendly store manager who explained the characteristics and quality of each of the recently picked varieties of peaches & recommended the best. Since there were two of us to do the eating, we bought a large basket of peaches so we could share most of them with my friends at the gym. Either the same or next day of distribution, everyone came back thanking me & complimenting how wonderful & delicious the peaches were. Now convinced that Burg's Corner in Stonewall is the place to go for peaches.

Yesterday, I drove from Fort Worth to Stonewall to get peaches to make preserves. I was disappointed that most of the vendors were closed--I know they need time to work the orchards. I was glad to find Burg's Corner, so I bought $100 of their peaches. I was told these are freestone peaches. This morning as I started preparing them to make preserves, I find they are cling peaches and most of them are very inferior--hard knots--and still very green. I will never stop at Burg's Corner for anything. They lie to your face just to make a sale.

We stopped here because of an ad that we saw i one of the Fredericksburg magazines that we got while visiting the town. We decided to go here to get peaches since the ad was so nice. We passed lots of cute stands on the way which just built my anticipation. Once we got there and got inside i could just smell an amazing peach aroma in the air!! We bought peaches and a watermelon. I wish i could tell you the kind of peaches but all the girls behind the counter didnt even know what they were selling. They told me the peaches were not free stone yest the first peach i cut into the pit popped right out. That us why only 3 stars because i still have no ckue the kind of peaches i ate.

After passing by fruit stand after fruit stand on our recent trip to Fredericksburg, we just had to stop at one and try their freshly picked peaches that were in season. Burg's just happened to be the next venue after our decision to stop and I'm really glad that they were. With more than just fresh produce, they also had loads of jams, preserves, salsa, butter, and cider made from peaches on display for you to try as well as home made ice cream. Obviously they had bushels of fresh in-season peaches, but also other fruits and veggies that were brought in from local farms. They also have a whole back shelf full of pickled items for your liking as well. With a staff that epitomizes home town hospitality, I would recommend Burg's to anyone looking for fresh fruit if they can't make it to the orchards themselves.

Cute little store that's hard to miss in Stonewall. Esposa and I were out and about in the area for wine tasting. We stopped in. Not much going on here. Loads of peaches and peach products. Bathrooms are around back and quite nasty. Prices seem high. Guess we just weren't awestruck.
