I was getting a full (heavy) cart-load of groceries this evening and a very helpful young woman (Marla) whom was bagging all of my groceries took my groceries to my truck and was very helpful, polite and talkative. She even loaded most of items and into my vehicle! That right there made my boring day much better. I was going to give this store 3* but because of her, 5*. Thanks M.

Have started coming here even though I live about 100 yards from the kroger on Blair. it’s a fine grocery store but compared to Kroger it’s heaven. It’s stocked, it doesn’t take an hour to get food from the deli and there is ample parking. What else do you need?

This store is really nice and carries a great selection of items. The employees are always helpful and friendly. The reason for the 3* rather than 5* rating is the self checkout. I go here often for a handful of items and nearly every time I end up waiting in the self checkout behind people with carts full of stuff. Many times it's faster for me to wait in a normal line. The store desperately need to limit the items allowed in self checkout.

Tonight as we were leaving the store, a gentleman who worked there was hosting a sample table and offered us a try. We took the sample on the way to check out. As we were leaving we were going on and on about this yummy sample. But we were going so fast we didn’t know what it was.... so I decided to call the store. I called right away and spoke with a young man named Evan. He told me that I had sampled a recipe made by the deli and he was glad to give it to me???? I couldn’t believe he would even offer that- how nice. I knew it would probably take too much time and asked he wouldn’t mind taking a picture and emailing it to me, and he did!!!!! Now that is great service! Thank you for making me feel like I wasn’t a burden and for doing your job with such a happy attitude. Made my night!!!! Can’t wait to go back and get the ingredients to make the cheese ball bites!!! So great!

Ordered a cake for my daughter's baby gender reveal party.... Showed a photo of the cake I wanted, etc. The cake turned out atrocious! Picked up the cake last Friday night. The guy that gave us the cake basically just walked away after he put it in the cart because he knew it was a disaster. The top of the cake had cracked icing, the decorative pieces ended up falling off the side of the cake, it couldn't be saved. The only positive thing I can say is it did taste good. However, I will never order a cake from Publix again as a result of this experience. Awful experience!

My visit to Publix is ALWAYS a marvelous experience. That's why I keep driving there from downtown Nashville. Your employees are all so helpful whenever I need assistance, and the bathrooms are nice and clean. Steve, the chef makes such delicious tasty treats for customers to try. He's TOPS!!!

Really loved this Publix. First time shopping there spoke with 5-6 different workers concerning items I couldn't find or needed help with, each on very nice and personable. Especially the young man in the seafood department. He was such a pleasure and very big help in finding my shrimp an scallops.

I enjoy the aprons menu recipes. I love trying the samples. The fried chicken in the deli is overly salty. Publix is also overpriced for the exact same item that's in Walmart. I guess customers are paying for the name Publix. I love the fresh watermelon and yogurt parfait. Staff isn't that friendly.

The Belle Meade Publix is the most cheerful grocery store on earth! Even though I haven't been to every grocery store on earth, I feel that I can say this with confidence because all of the employees are incredibly friendly, the pharmacy staff is excellent and extremely professional, the aisles are very wide & well~lit, the bakery is amazingly delicious ~ and also has an excellent and extremely professional staff, and the store is always decorated cheerfully for the holidays! The slogan is definitely the truth ~ shopping is truly a pleasure at the Belle Meade Publix!

So I went to the feminine hygiene section of this Publix to get pads because I had a leaking pipe in my household and I was confronted by A publix employee named Baker come up to me wanting to know why I was also holding a frying pan and a pregnancy test. Which is none of her business. I was completely at shock that she had to come up to me and ask me why I needed the things I needed. It was really embarrassing and I felt really unsafe with the conversation after this. She asked me if it was for my girl friend, Which I am an openly straight male. I told her yest, she then goes on to say luckily I don't need to worry about pregnancy scares then she gave an evil laugh which made me feel sickened. Please take care of this...

An employee named Erik, who works in produce. He is an older man. He's very grumpy, unapproachable, and extremely rude. I asked him if they carried a particular item. His response was, "well, did you look?" 2nd incident, I asked him about an item. He said, "I don't know, I don't work over here." People like this should not be in customer service!!!

I don't like many grocery stores. It's too easy for them to smell badly, be dimly lit, have bad service, etc...however Publix does good work. The meat, seafood counters are good, the produce has good turnover and when I ask for help I get it. Lunch counter is very good too.

Love this grocery store. People are friendly, but not over bearing. Their bakery is amazing! I have to walk through there quickly or I end up getting lost in their delicious options. A ton of options at their deli. Their meats and cheeses are fresh and yummy. They do a good job keeping fresh produce available and quick to pull it when it starts to go bad. Their fresh cut meat area by their butcher always has yummy options. If you have any questions their staff is knowledgeable and able to help. I've had them help me pick out a variety of items, pair it with vegetables or fruits for a really good meal. Always clean and tidy, makes shopping here a pleasure.

Called to verify order with floral department of 4 dozen carnations would be ready for Mother’s Day pick up and the customer service said the order was unable to be fulfilled. Management would not get on phone with me instead they had customer service rep repeat herself over and over. My local business planned on handing out carnations for Mother’s Day but unfortunately due to the incompentenece of the staff at this location that will not be the case.

I strongly disagree with how Management mistreats their employees. When dictating a person's life outside of work. Especially since it is not work related. Any grocery retail store should never harass their employees outside of work. Regardless to any matter. Yet their Corporate and CEO is a big (JOKE). Due to the fact that Publix discriminated against its employees outside of work. Maybe certain reasons as to why. But should've never proceeded within the first place. Any other normal grocery retail company would know better than that. Because of how the company itself goes against the code of conduct towards their employees. Management practically bullies their employees outside of work. Since when is it okay for the Publix company to harass their (Employees) outside of work...?! As for one of those customers who likes to complain a lot on Social Media including Google reviews. Please kindly keep your thoughts to yourself. If you received bad customer service. There are many reasons as to why. & by that I mean it all has to do with the Publix company in general. It is a very bad company to work for. Only those who have actually worked in grocery retail would understand. But if you're a customer who just loves to shop & save. & expects top notch customer service. You're going about grocery shopping the wrong way. If you don't like it. Then go shop somewhere else. & stop harassing the employees at Publix. Just because you're having a bad day. Or you purposely accuse an employee for something they didn't do. It is called (Misjudgment). Think before you speak. Actions speak louder than words.

Horrible customer service. Cashier Jake did not even speak to me or my husband. I shop at the Nashville west store every week since 2012 and always is greeted warmly. I went there tonight and had a pleasant shopping experience and was greeted by my Publix friends Ms. Jan and Kristie. When I spoke to Jay at the Customer service counter he apologized and hoped I would return 'so I could be smiled at.' He missed the point. Publix is known for their customer service and tonight I received none at checkout. I definitely will not return. Kudos to the Nashville West store for always providing me with a Love to shop and save experience!!

From ease of abundant parking, well laid out isles and truly fresh fruits, vegetables and a wide variety of essentials, a deli that rivals New York, minus the controlled chaos. Well informed and helpful staff. Perhaps best of all prices that are either competitive or substantially lower than all the others with only one exception. Any grocery store that turns a 3 hour full larder stocking into an almost enjoyable experience is beyond rare in my experience. Worth a diversion if necessary, in this case close to home. This is done with higher pay and equity sharing philosophy. Impressive.

What a cluster today, Sunday. The place was packed with shoppers that couldn't shop because there were stacks of boxes not shelved. Stackers couldn't get goods up fast enough. Management should have pulled the stackers, until things had calmed down. Lines backed up. Staff were frazzled.

The staff is slow but friendly, and the stock is decent. However, the prices are twice or even four times what they are for basically the same things at Kroger or Walmart depending on the item. Furthermore, they consistently have things on the shelves all over the store that have expired months or in some cases even years ago. Make sure you pay attention to what you're getting.

Excellent friendly service. Very happy with my transaction. I live out of state in WA, and my daughter is in TN. The website is ooober user friendly. I wanted to send a gift card to my daughter, but knew she needed it now for a holiday, not snail mail.. The customer service staff was very proffessional while helping me make a purchase for pick-up. Everything whent without a hitch! So happy with Publix, Hill Center @ Belle Meade Harding Pike! Keep up the good work!
