Parking could be a deterrent from finding some of the freshest produce and international cuisine for lunch but I finally found a spot.
I showed up during a week day. Monday to be exact. There were only 3 vendors opened, which was just fine. So no crowd was associated. Did a walkthrough the nursery and got amazing help on ideas of foliage for privacy!
Great food at a low price loads of choice and beer/wine too. This really is well worth a visit for lunch.
I love this place.. it’s getting better and better! So many eclectic choices for anything you could want
Cool inside on a hot day in the city. Enjoyed s wonderful breakfast.
So happy this place is close to where I live! Since I lived in Europe, my expectations of a farmers market are a bit high and I find that in the colder months there is not much a selection in terms of produce. Nevertheless I do enjoy the indoor part of the market and I’m very supportive of the people who sell their products here!
Great place for eating and shopping. Located in a beautiful park. Could spend the whole day here!
A very grand expanse of place. There are multiple restaurants within the pavilion. We are at the Jamaica Away. The food was very tasty and affordable. The jerked chicken and rice was superb. They served ginger beer, but I would have enjoyed Red Strip more.
Super cute place and a nice set up. Loved the diversity of crafts and people old to young sharing their passions.
The is a great place to eat lunch if your group can't decide. The Indian grocery has great spices and tea, shelf stable curry, salt cod, yogurt and so on. For extensive grocery shopping Fresh and Fresh is a better international grocery.
Great atmosphere and plenty food! You can buy fresh vegetables and fruits. I also enjoy the restaurants there!
Love the market!!! A truly balanced rendering of everything Nashville has to offer. From food trucks to greenhouse know-how, the market is a wealth of knowledge and experience from A to Z.
Always a treat for me. Fresh vegetables, fruits and landscaping plants. Nothing makes me happier. Visit Brands fresh fruits and vegetables. Homegrown and they will treat you right.
Best place in Nashville I would say. Great food, cozy atmosphere, awesome location.
REAL New Haven style pizza <3 !!! A stall with fisherpeople who fly back and forth from Alaska, I'm talking legit halibut, sword, chinook in season. Incredible produce from local farms being sold by people who are grateful for their jobs, some pricey handicrafts for mom (yes ponchos!) cool beer bar, and THE BEST indian market...stuff you can not find ANYWHERE oils incense, naan, spices omg! yes!!! went in cold weather so hoping to find more selection next time. Oh did I mention the Food Trucks my dude?!
The best market I have ever been to. Loved all the choices. We bought organic steak and green beans that were amazing!
The Nashville farmers market is amazing on weekends, full of vendors and plenty of things to choose from. The weekdays are also great, but more for a quick lunch and a walk around the park since there aren't very many vendors. I highly recommend the BBQ place, as well as the fresh sugar cinnamon donuts you can find during the weekend!
Really like this place. Good assortment ofocal foods in the food area. Lots of cool stuff in the other areas like farm fresh milk, meats, veggies, etc. Plant area is super nice too.
Not as big as it once was since they built the museum, but it still has a lot of interesting venders and food grown in Tennessee.
Easy access from Rosa Parks Blvd. Variety of vendors offering seasonal vegetables and specialty food and drink items. Casual atmosphere in the food court. Family and pet friendly. Easy access to the Bicentennial Mall area. Free parking. Next door to the Tennessee State Museum
So disappointed! They had lots of different food places and a nice garden area but there were hardly any vendors there selling anything. We were super disappointed to see that no one was there selling their products because we wanted stuff to take home with us. The garden area was very nice though. They had a wide variety of plants.
The Nashville Farmers Market is across the street from Bicentennial Park. There's an air conditioned food court and a shaded area where they sell produce, plants and other items typically sold in farmers markets. There's free parking nearby. The variety is good. If you visit Bicentennial Park, which I recommend, then you should cross the street and visit the Nashville Farmers Market, too.
Love Nashvilles farmers market. Lots of things to try and see. Fun place to walk around and explore. Parking can be an adventure and take some patience to find a spot. Especially on a nice day. Would recommend anyone in the area to stop by and explore what it has to offer.
Love the new look inside and they have vegetarian options! This puts a smile on my face.
Always enjoy a day here. Support local farmers and the gardens of Babylon is always an enjoyable stop.
Great place to grab a bite to eat. The crepes was our favorite! There is something for everyone there to eat and good sized portions. The shopes were really nice too and the winery had some good wines! We will definitely go back!!!!!
Parking sucks allow lots of time to get parked. But otherwise it's a great place for shopping
Beautiful local produce and a nice selection of other local products. Sorry we visited after a brunch because the food selections looked amazing.
Nice market. State park right outside door is lovely... WWII monument and memorial.
Awesome time, lots of people, stalls, food, gifts, and live music. Totally recommend the ice cream and the jamaican food (with vegan and vegetarian options).
A must when you are on Nashville. Always worse a trip. The food court is amazing with local food venues. Plenty of vendors with fresh produce, meats, jams and crafts
Nice growing farmers market. The day we attended was Sunday at noon just a few merchants outside. No too much going on. Restaurants have a variety of selections. They the Venezuelan or the pizzas made in firewood even. The Burrito place is okay.
It's so nice and fall. I loved it and the people were so friendly.
Wish this had more going on It was a weekend! Lol definitely will give it another shot next time I am up there. Cheers!
Great way to spend an afternoon! Pretty big, with lots of great vendors and food options. Love going to the Nashville Farmer’s Market!
Love the variety of foods available at the food court. Would like to see more fresh veggies year-round, but what is there is fresh and mostly a good variety of things.
I scream, you scream we all scream for ice cream! We are currently at Jeni's Ice Cream in the Farmer's Market in Nashville. TN and tried for the first time Wildberry Lavender ice cream on a butter crisp waffle cone along with a scoop of Brown Butter Almond Brittle. All of this is homemade and it was like heaven in your mouth. The lavender was fragrant, but did not taste perfumery. It may sound weird, but it was fantastic! The Brown Butter Almond Brittle was phenomenal. The line was pretty long, but it was well worth the wait and the other customers in line made the time fly by with interesting conversations. When you are in Nashville make sure you visit Jeni's in the Farmer's Market. You will not be disappointed. The company is in Ohio and if you go to their website it can be shipped to you.
The area we we we in was pretty empty. Where they have the fresh produce. Not much to choose from.
Small Farmers market but friendly and good variety of vendors. Separate cafeteria area. Not too busy on a Saturday
Want fresh food, this is the perfect place to get them. Also try there mini market inside too.
Love this place for a wide variety of food trucks as well as restaurants in the food court area. I saw both gluten and dairy free options as well. Great place for a group to go with different food preferences. Large tables inside and out. Some nice gift shops as well. Conveniently located right next to Bicentennial Park which is a beautiful place to explore on a pretty day!
We can’t say enough about how much we love the local vendors and local small businesses represented here at the Downtown Farmers Market. This place has come to be like a small family for our startup Bubble Tea shop and we have been so grateful for the community here. This spot has a small town feel about it and it’s fun to connect with neighbors or new friends who frequent our vendors. We love the Farmers Market! You’ll find an international flavor here that will satisfy your cravings!
Lots of unique artisans, fresh food, and a food court with international food cuisine choices and craft beers.
Hadn't been in years but racked up on fresh veggies and tomatoes!
Just browsed around. The person there was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable.
It was average....been to better. Too many empty stalls and not enough of the local vendors. The food and coffee shops are great, and the ice cream place turns out unique flavors that we loved. But nothing much to see...best part is that it's located by Victory Park. Big dud.
Lots of potential here ~ I'm guessing it's more fun on the weekends. Bought delicious produce straight from the farmers.
Most places were closed due to the time, but this place is amazing! Great air flow for a hour summer day. Lots of places to choose from to eat & different styles to boot. A small but overly-expensive taproom and a plant/flower nursery! I'll definitely come back here earlier in the day. Definitely worth the visit.
Love this farmers market! Restaurants, ice cream, vendors selling a wide variety of produce, meats and an awesome nursery with a great selection of plants, planters and garden decor
4 Stars only because parking is nearly impossible. Otherwise, fantastic place for all sorts of farm to table options. Fresh foods, handmade jewelry and soaps. Also a wide variety of houseplants, herbs, and vegetables plants.
Find something here for everyone. Food, Crafts, fresh veggies and fruits. they have tons of household plants and outdoor plants as well.
Free parking, great variety of restaurants, and the Bowl & Roll is the Best Korean food in the area :)
Pretty crowded but good produce. They have pretty much everything you want. Still looking for the hot sauce I got last year. Didn't see him out there this time.
Beautiful veggies, great food court. Lots of venders. The food court is air conditioned, there are also food trucks outside. We went on a Sunday and it wasn't too crowded at first but it did fill up after noon. They have beautiful flowers and plants and pottery.
Gardens of Babylon: A beautiful garden with an array of plants for every plant lover. The pottery selection is pretty standard buy reasonably priced. The employees are super friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. A bonus? Go on a Saturday to reap the other gifts that The Farmers Market has to offer
This place is just cool!! Fun, food, music, drinks and great people. They have day and night events!! What else can you ask for!! Its a must visit if you are in Nashville!!
The food in the food court was very average, even slightly below average I would say. Nothing stands out or screams you must try with charisma or flare from Nashville. The numbers of farmer vendor and variety is limited too, maybe it was a Friday. I heard there is a lot of vendors during the weekend.
Best stop on own weekend in Nashville. Lots of vendors with a good variety of products. Amazing peaches, large vegetables, and homemade soaps. I bought a boho purse, which I love and we both bought one goats’ milk soap. (Don’t buy the insect repellent soap it didn’t work for me-got a mosquito bite first thing on the forth/and beware of the cute lemonade stand, you might have to ask for extra lemon, it was very weak) the food pavilion is fantastic, such s great variety. Gyros are very good! Really loved this place; highly recommend.
It reminds me of the markets in France. I'm from NY. This made it so much fun to be in Nashville. It's a fun outing for a family after church on Sunday!
The mix of local and international cuisine in the restaurants makes it a great place to eat and the farmer's market itself is a great place to find good priced produce and cheeses.
Great flea market. Lots of different merchandise. Inside and out. Many unique gifts. Great bargains
Lots of variety in food selection. A fun place to hang out. Check out the history wall outside.
What a cool place! The food court has amazing choices from different types of cuisines.
Had a wonderful stroll through the farmers market so much to choose from. Food court was nice
We love the Picnic Tap! Love "The Picnic Tap" pints. Outdoor space to sit & they serve food. You can bring outside food in with purchase of beer. They have toys & board games to entertain children. Fun place.
Great experience for everyone. It has a variety of things and huge selection of fresh homegrown Good's to choose from. Healthy food for the soul
Great variety from foods to produce to plants absolutely love this place! The winery is amazing and the tea wine is a must. The green house is a jewel! Will be back@
Great food. Love having lunch there, such variety!
Mom and I had a great time and meet the artist who painted the mural. There's a wonderful variety of plants and food for sale.
It would have been much better but we did go on a Sunday. There were no peaches and some things were a little high like Crystals ranging from 6.99 up to 4 or 5 thousand dollars. Now, they did have some nice looking tomatoes and squash.
Pretty good! always something to find and everything is Ever Changing. I love it because all cultures exist here but Americans love to feast upon. Sometimes parking is very difficult to find but once you're in you're in and you can spend virtually a whole day here if you took your time on everything. Definitely make this a must stop by when you're in Nashville! Do not cut corners and have fun inside and outside there's so much to do...I mean there is so... much... to do!
There were lots of great restaurants to try at the market. We went on a week day and many of the vendors were not open. Weekends would be better.
Farmers Market always have fresh vegetables and fruits Swafford farmshed have some of the Best Vine ripe , Vegetables & Tommatos.
Great food choices. It's an incubator for new businesses. A wide range of flavors. There is also a microbrew bar with a good selection. Here's a picture of a mason jar of Porter.
This is one of Nashville's treasures. A few suggestions... bring your own bags and if you want to keep your tomatoes safe, bring a beverage carrier. I load my tomatoes in them and voila, no bruises. Parking can be tricky but there are lots adjacent, so maybe plan on walking but also it is pretty easy to park close and then Uber if walking isn't an option. Usually have some good options for food trucks on Sunday. Some of the best plant options for Mother's day or as a nice gift. Can't wait to grab some hydrangeas! Also, lots of good food options on the inside.
Awesome farmers market with a good selection of restaurants to choose from daily at the food court.
This place is great! All kinds of food options and good music. I would recommend trying this awesome place.
I enjoy shopping here or you can go inside for lunch. There are plenty of vendors with fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, wine, popcorn, pasta, lamb meat & etc. There are vendors with nice art, jewelry, clothes, candles & etc. Today I purchased a bag of Georgia Peaches & they are super delicious. You leave them in the bag a few more days to finish ripening. I also purchased some handmade tamales & I can't wait to try the cheese/pepper tamales. Come out & support our local vendors.
Good place to eat and for family. Great choice of food. Relaxing.
Love the diversity of the restaurants inside and the merchants outside. Support local Nashville merchants here and get fabulous food to boot
Loved it! Everything you could want was here. The food was great too!
Hip hip (hipsters) hooray! Fantastic food court indoors, fascinating vendors outside. Lots of free parking.
Great selection of food vendors here. Bicentennial park right next door makes this an attractive place to bring kids for a Saturday afternoon.
I love his place. We go most weekends for the majority of our grocery shopping. There is also a pretty good beer bar.
Nice variety of vendors but get there when they open or you'll never find a place to park. They need more parking spaces. Prices vary depending on what you're buying. Nice selection of locally grown vegetables.
I like this place. Lots of different food and shops to choose from. There is never enough parking. The parking lot can and will give you a headache.
I wish the farmer's markets in Tennessee were better. All stands mostly have the same produce and it definitely comes off of a produce truck not from local farms. There are some good local products and the food court is decent. I just miss finding veggies that you can't buy in a grocery.
Organic is the theme for produce and meat. It was not bad but somewhat more expensive than it used to be. Several local growers to choose from and really creative merchants. Wish they had more. Also miss the international market.
Great space, colorful and lively, wide variety of foods (from fried chicken to Thai noodles, ice cream to bubble tea) and friendly people. Had a bourbon-vanilla latte (so good!) And a lemon poppyseed muffin (also so good!).
We always love going to the Farmer's Market; we like to support local growers whenever possible. Not quite sure we understand some of the inner construction going on, and the elimination of one of our favorite stores, but we will give it some time.
I ran into this by accident and I'm so happy that I did. This was such an amazing find! There are so many ethnic restaurants in here that everybody will be able to find something that they would like to try. There is even a store here that offers everything from frozen meals to aisles upon aisles of pasta, rice, and candy. I can't wait to come back here and try out all the food.
Great selection, friendly farmers and merchants. Good prices.
We loved the farmers market!!! I had some amazing cantaloupe water and listened to live music inside while I cooked down from the heat outside. There is such a wide variety of options!
Great place for fresh food and Sunday breakfast. Great prices, too!
This place is amazing! It's like my local market on steroids. So much fresh produce, meat, flowers. They have coffee shops inside and local vendors with gift shops. A must visit.
Enjoyed walking through this farmers market, lots of little shops and all kinds of foods to choose from. Love being able to have a little bit of everything in one spot. Great place to spend an afternoon.
This is an amazing place and fun. You have plenty of food choices with multiple international options as well as great local food. Fun craft items, local plants and produce, and huge nursery on site. Easy to walk to from downtown and right by the Museum and Park
I love this place. Nothing better than fresh fruits and vegetables.
Incredible Farmers Market experience. If you're not from Nashville (I'm not) I highly recommend visiting here. Some of the best places to eat in the nearby indoor market and the outdoor market has such an interesting variety and quality goods, and there's usually live music! Brilliant place. 2 Peruvian Chefs was especially amazing.
This place has the most sweet people, the best products, and the best service in Nashville. Everyone is very friendly and it's an all around lovely time to visit and see all of the things you can find. Basically my new favorite place to go now.
Busy place. Food fantastic. Well worth the time. Arrive early. Parking spaces can be hard to find. Be patient. Worth the time to find a parking spot.
I go to Farmer's Market for a little Cajun restaurant called Nooleys. Closest authentic New Orleans poboys and muffelattas in Nashville. I'm originally from there. There's all kinds of different restaurants. You can literally eat from around the world in 1 food court. Outside is the actual farmer's market. Support local farmers while receiving the freshest, home grown produce Tennessee has to offer. Plenty of parking. The park it sits in is really nice too. If in the Nashville area, this is a must check out.
Always a great place to relax and buy local produce! Also offer other neat things to see and buy.
Great place to get fresh produce. The fountain of juice is amazing!! Love it also the ice cream shop and the crepe shop is delicious
My husband and I go all the time. Great produce and food court is amazing.
We were here on a Friday morning, and not everything was set up. Still there was a great quantity of varieties of fruits and vegetables that are fresh and reasonably priced. There's also vendors that made pastries and were a variety of vendors that did not sell food of any kind such as plants, jewelry, etc. I highly recommend the farmers market in Nashville. I did not know they were open every day of the week! Unfortunately all the photos I took were on my regular camera, not with my phone, so I have none to share.
The market was very empty today (Tue). But I want to give a shout out to Music City Crepes. YUMMY! Can't wait to eat there again! We were in Nashville for a little R&R, that was the best meal I had the entire time we were in Nashville. Loved it.
I’ve enjoyed coming here from time to time. The Greek food place is my favorite. I’ve only been once when the vending area is totally full and there have been some very cute items being sold. I love going on the weekend for veggies and my boyfriend also loves going for the fresh meat.
