REVIEWS OF India Bazaar IN Tennessee

THE WolfmanWarrior

Very interesting market! Excellent selection of spices, a very diverse snack section, and a great variety of odd vegetables. Prices are lower than to be expected as well. Staff is friendly, especially when asking for their opinions on their favorite flavors and dishes. An inspiring place

Diane DiCarlo

If you love Indian food and need authentic flavors, this is your joint! They carry many items you'll have difficulty finding elsewhere.

Michael Fernandez

Not so good this time . I always bring my friend from Kerala and today many things were not in stock . The most disappointing one was no plum cake .

Nawar Hammade

I like it

Libuse Karich

Don't buy a lot of Indian groceries just a bit of fresh eggplant etc., wish their cashier would be friendly, a smile wouldn't hurt. Always looks so unhappy.

N.S. Babu

Ok place to shop for Indian groceries. Too cramped.

Sandeep Pendyala

If you couldn't find the Indian stuff anywhere in Franklin, then only, i repeat then only visit this grocery. The prices are a little high but you will get mostly every Indian item you need.

Ra Ki

Affordable Indian groceries

Sai

High prices and selling some of them are expired dates.

John thomas

The most expensive pricing for bad quality products. It's Robbing such a horrible price than in every other indian Grocery store.Dont be surprised if you find expired stuff. I started purchasing groceries in all other places never even turning to this side.No price tags most of them were removed.

dilip shaw

Roshan Shrestha

Not many options. The only reason I go there, is in case of emergency as it is close to my home.

Jayajit Basu

Only Indian Grocery Store in Franklin area. Lots of Indian vegetables, snacks, sweets and many more things you will get as you get in India for your cooking needs. Also you will get Indian ready to eat food. Every evening you will get yummy hot samosa & vada.

lilly Lils

Oh boy! I'm surprised that the review shows 4 rating. Its not worth 2 star too. They have rotten vegetables and onions, not a wide variety of stock and are priced at the top. The most expensive pricing for bad quality products. Dont be surprised if you find expired stuff. I started purchasing groceries in all other places never even turning to this side.

Vinayak Mahadik

Does not look like a clean place n looks messy

Suhas Kamble

The only place around franklin to get indian stuff. Nice location

Ajit Sahoo

Good place for Indian. We can get all type of Indian item

Abdul Aaqib Mohammed

These people don't even want to accept debit cards for any purchase less than $10. Credit cards is understood because it charges them if the purchase amount is too low. But I didn't expect the same will happen with debit cards too. This place is not worth my money.

Prakash Venkatesan

Faisal Hussain

manonmani maruthaiyan

R Penumaka

India bazaar is not spacious, I heard they get vegetables from Patel Bros and sell for profit. Patel Bros is a good option.Clerk/Cashier (aunties) in India Bazaar are awful. Replace Them ASAP

Padmanabhan Giridharan

Good and clean Indian grocery store.

Andrai Anatholy

Don't go this store very expensive,i have experience today i brought okra 4LBS the sticker price is 99cents,when i went to the counter to pay they charges $2.49 foe each LB.these peoples are cheaters.

Indu Ward

Love their spicy sandwich with avocado lime ranch sauce, nuggets with graluc ranch sauce and the break fast bowl of nuggets WITH hash browns!!

Unsophisticated Gaming

The stuff was so exspencisve

Nathan Ferreira

Great selection comparable to Patel Brothers. Hosts a moderate selection of harder to find, quality fresh produce (Methi leaf, bannana flower, ect), with arguably the best prices in Franklin on popular items such as ginger, cillantro and limes. There is a large array of good quality massala meal kits and frozen favorites for the pressed of time. With an even larger array of ingredients you need to prepare regional Indian dishes and beverages from scratch! It may look overwhelming for the unfamiliar however it is well worth spending time browsing, you will find some inspiring ingredients. Staff are willing to help, just make sure to come at a quiet time of day if you have high expectations for customer service.

John G

Nice selection of Indian groceries. The samosas are delicious!

satish r

You would get most of the indian food and things... check with the person at counter if you can find anything specific... sometimes they might have not refilled the item or they might be available less in quantity...

Adrian Warren

Don't try to use a debit card for under $10, it is a no go there. They are smaller and don't have the selection of Patel Brothers. They are far from friendly. I've been in twice looking for items and both times ended up at Patel Brothers after my visit.

Niloy Datta

You can get collection of all the Indian spices and Pooja items.. (y)

Arun Pandeya

Nice. Close to home

Roy Denney

Good times. Lots of stuff and some really good ethnic foods.

Venkatesh Paidakula

Good. But vegetables bit pricey and less in stock.

Venu Alokam

India Bazaar offers fresh vegetables always. The quality and variety of Indian vegetables is always up to the mark. One stop shop for all your grocery needs, you can get spices, produce, meat (both chicken and goat available), snacks, ice cream, dairy, eggs, fresh chapathi, samosa, rice, atta, nuts, sweets and many more. Good Ethnic Grocery Store. Convinient location, Fair Prices, friendly staff, Wide Range !

vasavi manchikanti

So nice place to buy all the Indian groceries..

Surbhit Jain

Nice store for finding Indian stuff and veggies

James Browning

Great place for Indian and Asian groceries. A bit bigger inside than I expected but still somewhat limited. Prices for staples like milk and eggs are a little high compared to other grocery stores in the area but the specialty items are about what you would expect. Credit and debit card purchases are a $10 minimum so if you just need a few things make sure to bring cash.

Astro more

Has most of items from India

Puneeth Dixit

Low prices in a near reach for Franklin folks

Ms. M Wms

Variety

Koushik Lingam

You get a lot of Indian store stuff

Jigar Patel

costly...and you can try Patel brothers about 10 miles from there..You can get more variety of vegetables and snacks and more other varieties.

nealynealster

Best and only Indian store in the area.

Jaswinder Singh

It's a nice Indian store with lot of variety. Vegetables are fresh and store is well organized. They sell very good samosas for $0.99. Little pricey compared to other big Indian store. They can have cart stand outside the store to utilize the inside space.

Vani Kanchani

Off late i noticed, the billing staff is very sad they dont even smile back at the customers. They give back serious looks. Why?? I dont need special greetings, just a smile back.

Rahul Chakraborty

You can get spices and Indian Grocery. This could be little expensive and do not expect any expired date as we have in India. You can get vegetables, fruits, Curd, Panner, Maggi, variety of Rice/White, and expect maximum things are organic. And maximum things are directly coming from India.

Karthik Mariappan

Not fresh veggies, but has many indian grocery items. Prices of few itesm which cost in cents are sold here in $2. The way they price few goods are not good.

bharath gajula

Very good place

Abhinav Agarwal

Not good quality stuff... Most of the time n most of the groceries have some black colored bacteria.... evrn live items like jalebi , imerati, samosas are mostly stale and not fresh enough... they mostly remove the expiry date label on many boxes.... Not going to buy anything again from here... And the staff is always not interested in sale... They behave like that they are doing some kind of favour on us by opening a shop here in this neighborhood...

Cyrin Shelly

Bit pricey, but lot of variety

Subramanian K Umasankar

Quality of vegetables is very good. Place needs to be little organized. We went in the afternoon and shop was not crowded. I felt the final bill was comparitively less than Patel Brothers

Teresa Street

Friendly people.

modem srinivasulu

today morning i bought a goat meat and when i open at home it smells bad and i had the same experience couple of time before and there is not return policy for meat

Dilip Kumar

High prices, expired foods

shaik ferozali

Expensive than patel

Jere King

Good produce, spices and all good things from India. Am not of Indian descent but we love to stop by.

Vikram Warudkar

Easily accessible place for Franklin people to have fresh vegetables & Indian grocery

lakshman reddy

It's decent

Sonia Vinefly

The produce is decently priced but the non-perishables, like spices and lentils, are definitely overpriced by a $1-$4 each! I guess that's what you get when there isn't much in the way of competition in the area.

Ravindra Parinam

Good place

Vikram Channagiri

Big store with lots of Indian groceries,Vegetables,Rice, Flours, Spices , Oils and nuts. Competitively Average price for Vegetables. Moderate Price for Rice and flours. snacks are priced costly. They are giving deals for expiring items in snacks. They have Ready to eat Samosas, Chat items and some snacks.Liked the Shopping experience with India Bazaar.

Srikanth Kanakala

High price and low quality

Pamela Stiverson

Great little Indian Market. Good selection of food and products.

Preetam Deorah

The India Bazaar experience has improved for me. The main thing that interests me first and foremost is the stock that the shop is carrying and whether it has enough variety to choose from. Also, there are particular brands that have a consistent customer following and those should not be missing. I find that India Bazaar has slowly overcome all these shortcomings over the last few months and now, for the most part I can always rely on this shop for all the necessary items within the Indian grocery list. For the Brentwood and Franklin customers, this is very conveniently located and saves almost 7-8 miles of additional driving.

Natarajan Velsamy Shanmugakani

Poor service

Ramakrishna Reddy

Place has neighborhood feel and great place to get any Indian groceries. Definitely check this place out!

Girish Barje

Till April 23 I had good experience at store though its bit expensive. On April 23rd I forgot my bag with some grocery items in shop either at counter or in cart. Next day when called they simply said no bag found. I got surprised as I have not gone to any other shop or place where I can forgot my bag. So all be careful try to collect all your bags and don't forget.

Kanthi Narra

Good and Convenient Place for Indian Groceries in the Brentwood / Franklin Area instead of making the hike to Nolesnville Pike. Decent variety of Indian Groceries , the fresh vegetable options could be enhanced more.

Divya Nishanth

Plenty of Indian groceries and vegetables. Loved the sweets and snacks they put out everyday.

siva sankar

Far bettering than Patel brothers.

Mohammed Rehaan

Good place I mean you can basically get everything that you can buy in India

Kristi Ortega

Very interesting place

P.V Ravindran

A speciality store stocking most of the items preferred by Indian community. Both North and South Indian varieties are available. Many brands of rice, pulses, vegetables, frozen food, confectionery, pickles, masala etc. are stocked. Helpful staff. Good shopping experience.

Sachin Garg

You find so much variety that you feel like shopping in India. Just be careful with the product expiry date.

Arun Singh

Decent Indian grocery store. Most of the things are available and employees are approachable.

Jo Rainwater

Wide variety of spices, teas and rice. Reasonably priced

Sia Kripalani

After being a loyal customer since it opened (the only Indian grocer in the area) I purchased rice that upon opening was filled with insects!!! BUGS WERE CRAWLING AND FLYING AROUND INSIDE THE SEALED BAG! When I took it back, the manager refused to consider a replacement, refund or any consolation since I had not saved my receipt and I could not prove that the rice came from their store. BUYERS, BEWARE of what you purchase. These owners do not stand by their products. Small businesses rely on word of mouth and recommendations, and this store just lost me as a customer!

R3 x

I didn't like because either was very poor service there and they did not have fresh vegetables there

Sathiya

Fresh vegetables but not all the days

Sivaranjani Sarma

Good place

sahithi tamma

Little Expensive

Katie Briggs

Very good samosas!

Dylan Twyman

This place is great, they have so many snacks that are traditional Indian recipes and popular in India. They have plenty of vegan snacks and there is something for everyone here. Gracery store with produce, snack food, grains and breads, dairy, meat product, and plenty more; including delicious indian deserts (there is a vegan one) and samosas for ¢99 each.

Vivekanandan Thanigaivel

Seema Singh
