I cannot be more displeased with this place. My husband planned a very big 40th birthday party for me. We ordered a whole roasted pig a my husband paid a cash deposit on the Monday before the party. He went today to pick it up and they had no pig for him. The owner said that his son put it on the calendar for the week before. That's not possible because my husband just pay the deposit on Monday. He told my husband that he believed his son but he also believed my husband which was a contradiction. I called the owner to talk to him after my husband left the store and whomever answered the phone lied and said that the owner wasn't there and then he hung up on me. I would give zero stars if that was an option. My husband is very devastated. Needless to say we will never be using this establishment for any sort of business.

I usually shop Sunrise Market but stopped here instead and was glad I did. Much smaller but the variety is more authentic and interesting, especially the spice aisle. This is definitely a family run place. They were busy unloading and stocking a huge order when I arrived but still made the time to chat and ask if they could help me find anything. They don't have the huge volume of Sunrise so you won't find 50 varieties of rice or 20 different brands of coconut milk, but does the average home cook need that? Can't wait to come back and start exploring the frozen sections. Nice owner, nice staff. Give this place a try--just around the corner from Pho 99 so eat first that way your frozen food doesn't melt in the car while you indulge in a noodle bowl (or is that just me?)
