Took my mother here, I no longer shop Ingles, prices too high and associates all have stuck up attitudes. They try to get you to use self check out, I'm not paying their extremely high prices and then scan and bag my own groceries!!! More profit for them??? Give me a break!!! Plus I feel it cost Americans their jobs, not me!! If their lines are long call more cashiers and hire people who are grateful to work and like their jobs!!

Called customer service and he said he would handle my issues however Sylvia and jack are useless as managers no stock and canned apologies. Had 250 worth of groceries and the store was dead and Danielle who has a smart mouth wouldn’t call anyone to bag for me so I had to bag them myself. Store ran better when Kevin was the manager. Stores going downhill fast and needs an update. I may change this review when I give them a second chance as requested by corporate which is exceptional at customer service but the employees act as if they don’t care. Hopefully after he speaks to them they’ll realize this is the most convenient spot for me but I like to feel as if my business matters.

This was my first trip to Ingles and I was pleasantly surprised. Tucked away north of Travelers Rest I wasn’t sure what I would find when I got there but I needed some lunch so I stopped. Great selection for groceries and Deli selections.

It may not look like it from the outside, but this is one of the better Ingles stores I've been too. I was very impressed with their organic/healthy food selection and bulk section. I loved the trail mix with dried strawberries. Very convenient location to nearby campgrounds.

Not great. I'd probably sooner go to the local IGA for bargains or to another store for hard to find items. For example, no Reese's miniatures in baking (the tiny unwrapped ones) or kasha. Their international section is two shelves of pan-Asian. Prices are low, but not low enough to go out of the way for something. It benefits from being the only large supermarket, along with the superior IGA, in the area.

This Ingles Market is not very clean & the management is very non-compliant. For example, they close at 11:00pm. If I arrive at 10:50, they have a fit about letting me in. They want to close & run at 11:00. I feel like businesses should serve clients until their stated time of closure. AND they are very rude about it. There are food markets that are a pleasure to shop in. This is not one of them.

Clean store, nice bathrooms, friendly staff. The food in the deli ( sandwiches, hot dogs, salads, and chicken) is always fresh and really good with good prices. The bakery is even better the donuts are excellent, breads are always fresh, and cakes are really good with decent prices. When they have a sale it's worth going in for sure and if not at least grab a salad or a donut!

We hit this Ingles on our way to the Nantahala, they have a great produce section, a monster sized store, and a really good beer and wine selection. They stock some pretty obscure imports! Good customer service, though, someone should inform Ingles corporate that making their employees manually look up rewards card numbers the way they do is crazy. Everywhere else, the associate just enters the number and carries on, here, the associate has to run to customer service, look it up manually at some computer terminal and run back, all the while their line backs up. Pretty antiquated. Overall a great grocery store!

Store is clean and in order but the store manager doesn't have the best attitude. She will help you with whatever you need but she acts as tho it's an inconvenience to do so. Also the staff as a whole has no compassion for other people what so ever! I don't know if they are trained that considering it's ALL of them or it's just a coincidence. I witnessed an employee turn a mom with 3 kids away and would not let her but the dinner she had chosen for her kids because she was 33¢ short. It wasn't like she had beer and junk food. All she had was a precooked small chicken and a box of mashed potatoes. I couldn't believe my eyes when the high school aged boy at the register said ur 33¢ short ma'am. She asked if she could bring it back to the store herbage received her check the following day so he went to check with the manager who came kvetch and humiliated her by saying I'm sorry but if you can't afford the entire bill we can't help you we don't offer charity, this isn't a food bank! All if that embarrassment over 33¢! So I purchased her the food. To sum it up decent store terrible staff.

This Ingles store is always very clean and the staff is very nice. We only buy produce, fish and chicken and this store has fresh organic options. They also have a surprisingly good selection of vegan and gluten free foods. I have found their fruit and vegetable selection be better than Publix and possibly better than Whole Foods at a fraction of the price. We couldn't ask for a better local grocery market!

But if you need anything from deli and there is more than one person in line, your stuck waiting cause no matter what they only have ONE PERSON in deli working slicing meat. Your stuck waiting forever. They should have 2 slicers and 2 workers working the deli dept. It always takes at least 20-25 minutes to get your deli meat even if you only wanted one thing.. That always bothered me bout that store

I love our #35 Ingles in Bryson City, NC. The produce is so fresh ( Darnell Farms right here) and the meat/seafood department is outstanding! But most of all is the Deli Department. They have a Sub Sandwich shop that makes great subs and the Boars Head Meats are exquisite! They also have a hot meal counter that serves plate meals ( $5.00 for 1meat and 2 vegetables) with fried chicken, green beans and creamed potatoes with gravy that would satisfy the hungry man in all of us! Bryson City Ingles has a small dinning area too. Oh did I mention the Great People who work there! Always have a smile and a kind word. Overall after buying groceries all over North Carolina I have found that the prices are very competitive with most other large stores with everyday Specials that keep you coming back for more!

This store is well kept, the staff is friendly. They offer a hot bar for $5 have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages. Also seasonal items are organized in the front of the store. Best spot to go if you're in need of food supplies.

Some People are not friendly here.. Cashier thought she was fbi over 1\3 of dressing.. Manger came over Not a smile then charge us anything on dressing.. Plus the prices r very high. Higher then publix... The store is very dead without friendly people... Need to put other skin color in store .. Feel like you back in time... I will shop at ingles in greer 4 now on...Get a salad without a problem... People no if u put dressing on salad it will be soggy..

Clean orderly supermarket with wide variety of products. They have also deli and bakery but I did not see salad bar like Ingles had in many other stores. Staff friendly. Parking lot huge. The store is on the edge of Bryson City.

as an elderly person going into ingalls I find it very difficult to shop in there because they are constantly changing the store around to make you go walk all over the store as an older person I like to be able to remember where something is in when I go back in there and still be there I don't like the way they do they do that I know why they do it but I don't care for it

The staff was friendly. The store could be improved with updated equipment. The salads in the deli case were not appealing, in part due to the tins they were in. The party tray brochures should have prices in them. Overall, I felt like I had stepped into a '70's grocery store. Appearance is everything.

Overpriced, which is funny because if you try to pick up a Western Union wire for $300 they literally cannot afford the transfer. Sell 2 avocados to cover your wire transfer needs.

Still the home town grocery store. Careful pulling in. The asphalt at the entrance is definitely 3rd world country. On the pricey side . They really have no competition so no need to up their game.

This is our go to store, while vacationing in nearby cabins. Always greeted with a smile, and employees are always helpful! The sore is very clean and items are tidy and easy to find. We like that they carry lots of gluten free items, since my husband has a wheat allergy and, that here are signs to help you find them easily.

I asked for 2 bone in chicken breasts and was told we only have what is in packages. All packages were family size. How easy would it have been for butcher to accommodate. Not good customer service.

So i visited my local ingles today. They have already put out the cinnamon brooms. The scent from them me an instant migraine. I have spoken to the manager about it, his reply was "a lot of people have problems from it but we have to do it." So I have to do my shopping elsewhere or give up eating. It really is a shame that a chain grocery store excludes people with migraines. I'm just glad I didn't transfer my prescriptions to Ingles.
