They've got things you can't find in the other markets. Like Dave's Market and Whole Foods stopped being able to get Persimmons a month ago and I can still find them at the Friendship Market

its a pan Asian market. If you don't know what to expect from that type of urban experience, dont trash their style when you find out. its messy, there are kids and old people, ladies chatting and laughing, and they have some of the best pad thai ive ever had

Worthy of 5 stars for its category: pan-Asian lil mish-mosh market with all kinds of unusual lil treats that are hard to find in American grocery stores: kim chee (the big jars), Asian eggplants, Asian herbs and spices. Excellent prices, and the owner is very friendly
