They make one of the best 12 inch hoagies, with the perfect amount of everything in Philadelphia. Staff is always friendly. The food, and produce is always fresh. Convenient place to find fresh produce, deli meats, cheeses, nuts, fruits, and a variety of other specialty items. Many forms of payment are accepted. Everything you need is at a glance. The owner and his son are always available for questions, or solutions to any problems.

I love this produce place! It is one the BEST in Philly.!! It is a small place tucked in a quiet area of Germantown but BIG on the types of produce they sell, excellent CUSTOMER service and the sandwiches they make which are delicious!! You are not in line long at all.! The cashiers are so fast and the men who consistently put out fresh produce are always polite too. The prices are real low too! You can get a lot of good stuff under $5.00. All walks of life come to this store. I meet people from all different parts of philly which is cool. The only thing is the parking. It is super congested and tight. Wish they could maybe work on that. Otherwise always great service. Hats off to MANAGEMENT.!

I have frequent here a lot. Prices are fare. You can really save by buying cases and freezing the fruits. Customer service is very poor. The lighter Muslim lady walked away (after taking my money) when I asked her about the type of assorted assorted flowers that were sale.I guess I should've asked before or during my transaction. When you get to those cashiers, don't expect customer service. However, the guys on the floor are very helpful.

I shop here often because the prices are great and it's around the corner from my house the fruit sometimes taste like it was sprayed with too much pesticides I often try to buy the fruit that's in bags instead of the ones that's out like any Produce Junction that I have ever visit the fruit can go bad pretty quick that's how they sell it at such a low cost the hoagies are great it's not filled with a bunch of meat if that's what you like but I like mine to be an even amount of meat and bread so I enjoy eating them the service is good the staff is always nice and pleasant they are also very helpful I buy some of the refrigerator items it seems to be pretty good also like eggs, milk,& cheese

I buy a lot of fruits and veggies from a&n. I make smoothies every day. If I but 40 dollars worth of fruit, cut it up and freeze it. Saves hundreds of dollars. A 3 pound bag of frozen fruit is $8.99. I bought 35lbs of fruit. That's $106.00 at shop right. I love saving money.

The Deli was perfect! 4 stars.. The cashier was confused. She talked to do worked while she was working. She also had a customer ahead of me, who really didn't have enough money on her access card. The customer said hold my order, I'll be right back. Customer came back with additional money. Ask for her bag and left. The cashier began to take care of me. She said, debit or credit? I said DEBIT! She cashed me out as CREDIT!! I said: you made a mistake: she said : you'll save money on Credit. I was upset, cause DEBIT IS A PIN NUMBER TRANSACTION. AND COMES OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT RIGHT OF WAY.

I love this place, I am a new resident, and was taken here by a 40 year residing local. They have everything your looking for. If your willing to sample new produce for the low this is the place, anything and everything. I meal prep fresh produce every week; nice to know I can go and get something reasonable with variety. English may not be understood but shoppers know what they are purchasing so the language barrier is not problematic.

The produce itself seems fresh and the prices are great too. I didn't know they sold beans and lentils and grains. That was a plus. I wish they used less packaging for the produce. It's way too much plastic. Hence the 3 stars. I will have to stick with Shoprite where the prices are higher but at least I can use my own produce bags.

I have never been disappointed, the staff is friendly (some more than others but that's everywhere) the store is clean, you can't beat the value and the selection is always fresh... Since I've moved to this area, I have been shopping here. I absolutely love the quality of the produce, however, it is so ripe large amounts at a time may not be the best idea if it's not going to be eaten quickly. The three stars are only because of a certain cashier, she's very passive nasty, I mean I can even call it agression. I was so embarrassed by her just recently when I came in with a friend whom had never been there before; she like myself are sticklers for good customer service. I was just gushing to her about how great the pj is in my neighborhood, and how there's even fresh flowers at a steal. We went in with the intention of buying about 8 to 12 bouquets of flowers, when we got there, the variety was very slim, and there were some greenish colored flowers that looked as if the petals had fallen off or had not bloomed. I asked this particular cashier what kind of flowers were they, and she said 'flowers', now at this point I didn't understand her response, 1 because of the language barrier, and 2 because she barely answered me, so I then asked her were the flowers bloomed, she took a tone with me and said 'I don't know, they're flowers'. She was so curt and rude, my friend was even offended. This isn't the first and only time I've experienced just how rude and nasty she can be. I will be speaking with someone per my next visit. I will continue to be a customer, but something's got to give with this person. Really. Otherwise this is THE BEST produce place in Philly.

I go to this produce juction because it's close to where I live and the fruits and vegetables are fresh prices you can't beat anywhere. Having said that I wish they could itemize their receipts. You go to the counter and the cashier just start punching in numbers it makes me think how do they remember ALL of the prices of ALL of their products????

I have been coming to this establishment for over 20 years and I have always received great service. Well today was a completely different story. I came in early today to be the Sunday rush and if you frequent This place you know it can get crowded. I arrived and not even two minutes after then o place some strawberries in my basket then some berries next think I know the manager is over in my face telling me I’m Destroying in the apples. I’m a certified chef why would I come into an establishment that I clearly needs and come to often and distort the produce I need to purchase. Like I placed my basket on the corner of the box how can that distroy some apples. After him yelling at me to told him to get out my face that is not the way you talk to a customer. He gone say you can get the duck out I said I’m not going anywhere. He still going back and forth with me other customers hearing him staff hearing him he didn’t even care. I finally get to the front he is next to register I’m at I ask the person helping me what the owner name she tells me and ask is everything okay I started to tell her he start to verbally attack Me about to the point where I just snapped. This should have not ever happen clearly there was a cultural Barrier When I called to talk to the owner his daughter tell me she is sorry then say she will not make excuses for him but immediately Start to make excuses. She tells me he been there for 10 years an I explained to her that if I been coming there over 29 then he should know me since he the manager and would know that I never mess anything up I’m the store I shop and leave period. But this whole situation is out of this world. As the customer I should have not been told that he could have been over whelmed because he had a lot to do. That’s not my fault it should be a breeze since he has been doing it for 10 years what he should also know since he had been there 10 years is how to treat the customers who Patronize establishment. He action were unacceptable and the Daugther response was unacceptable and she was a nice as she wanted to be. But I see why he thinks it’s okay to talk to me in that manner just like she think all he needs is a talking too. Smdh the world we live in this could have went completely different. Someone could have ended up hurt you never talk to a customer or women like your going to fight them I should have just attacked him since I felt attacked anyway I would feel better about the situation. Not to mention he snatched me food out of his co worker hand and start yelling at her

This is NOT a Quick-Stop/Convenience store. Has loud radio music near greens section...>.> One of the rare and affordable produce stores that sells actual fruits and vegetables - in North Philadelphia. Cash is preferred. Credit/Debit are accepted but no idea what Card limit is. If paying cash, No receipts are given. There is a parking lot, and lines are mostly diagonal. Good luck finding parking spots on the street. It’s also near a bus route. It has a Deli. Small space that uses large shopping carts. When shopping in Deli, leave cheese or meat slices at the first register. Maybe not a place for germaphobes...the floor is grimy.

I like this place for produce and eggs. The prices are excellent the produce is fresh and they sell nuts and candy that are hard to find anywhere else for the price. Great produce at low prices. However the fruit is usually very ripe when you buy it here. If you can't eat it all in a few days don't buy large quantities because it will go bad before you can get through it all. When you buy plants from here they usually nice quality and last quite a long time. They have a very large selection of dried fruits and nuts. Although the line can appear long at the checkout, they have lots of Clerks and they keep the line moving quickly. If you need lunch meats and cheeses there is a very convenient Deli attached.

**Update: The manager never offered to carry the basket for me and was very argumentative. A different manager called me to insult me further by telling me this never happened. Not to even offer a simple apology, but to tell me it didn't happen. There is no audio on the video but she was adamant that it didn't happen. The manager is rude follows people around the store while they are shopping. He spoke to me in a very aggressive , rude tone. When I decided to leave, I said nothing at all, and he continued following behind me yelling "PLEASE YES I LIKE THAT I LIKE THAT" as I walked out the door. I have shopped in this store since it opened and I will no longer shop here. I placed an empty basket on top of the display for a moment and the manager and owner of store feels that is a legitimate reason to yell at a customer. The store clearly knows very little about customer service. The blueberries were stacked in boxes on top of each other which clearly weighs more than an empty shopping basket. I was yelled at and humiliated in a crowded store. I never raised my voice at the manager, yet the store thinks his actions were justified.

I love this place for produce and deli meats/cheese. Fruit is always fresh and sweet but super cheap. Same with the veggies. Staff is always helpful and kind. The place can get crowded very fast but checkout workers recognize this and work extra fast to get you in and out as quick as possible. I just left this store @4:30pm today after experiencing the worst customer service by the female working at the second register from the front door. She blamed me for dropping produce when in fact it was the male customer in front of me. When she proceeded to talk about me to the co worker standing next to her and point me out to a male supervisor, I informed her again that I did not drop any produce. Her response was " it was your daughter and you could have told me". Unacceptable. I won't return. Word of advice, you never know who's stopping in your store and who they know!!

Great for getting some flavors of D&W lunch meats that are hard to find even in the chain supermarkets. Really good for buying exotic fruits from the Caribbean and Central America. As well as the common fruit fare. The same quart of 100% not from concentrate pomegranate juice costs 45% less (thereabouts) than the same in the chain supermarkets. Their hand bagged candy is over priced, so can't recommend buying it unless just for the convenience. Many sweet tooth choices though. For years the only way to pay was with cash or ACCESS card. Recently the option to pay with a credit or debit card with $10 minimum purchase installed. There's a .50 fee for these pay options. The parking can be a mother and why four instead of five stars. Not much they can do about it because the parking spaces are maxed out. But still a pain too many times not to be an annoyance.
