The employees of Ray's in La Pine need to show the employees of Ray's in Sisters what customer service and hospitality is all about. Seriously some of the nicest people work here. Enjoyed my shopping experiences here because I felt like I was appreciated as a customer, from everyone. I was also happy about their hot sauce choices and great prices on everything.

I was driving thru late at nite, on my way to Washington from California, my 3yr old needed to use restroom, so we stopped. I purchased chocolate milk for his bottle n asked if they had someway i could warm it up. One cashier said they werent supposed to do that, the older cashier was happy to oblige plus their restrooms were clean.

Prices here are a bit higher than if we were to drive to Bend for groceries but it saves time and fuel. The people who work here stove to be pleasant and helpful. They know a lot of the locals and always ask about them and chat about their families. They strive to carry a wide variety of products and often special order items, such as gluten free pie crusts, when you ask. I enjoy shopping here.

Very disappointed. I've been there a couple times and the food i've gotten has always gone bad on me, or been moldy when I brought it home (I should have checked better). Additionally, my Husband who just went to pick up milk for our toddler daughter paid with a $100 (just got paid today). They told him that he could not come back if he paid with large bills. He would only be able to pay with small bills or his card because he "looked like someone who counterfeits bills" or someone who has "drug money". Very disappointing. I do recommend the shop smart down the road. I've always received fresh food and the customer service is so friendly and down to earth. Like you are talking to a friend you haven't seen in a while!

We stayed in La Pine the night before a recent trip to Crater Lake. We wanted to get some deli sandwiches for a rim side picnic at the lake. Even at 8am in the morning the friendly lady at the deli counter was quite helpful in making fresh sandwiches for our journey. Not only was the service great, but the sandwiches were better than anything that we would have gotten elsewhere for twice the price.

I feel bad for the people of this town! The produce is rotten. Not almost rotten, not just bruised, legitimately rotten. I wished I could have taken a picture to add to this post. The prices are as high as whole foods just 25 minutes north. Their organic items are few and far between. The do have some gluten free. All in all, take a drive to Bend to buy your groceries.

They refused to count my cans when their machine was conveniently "out of order" after Oregon state law raised bottle return deposit from 5 cents to 10 cents. Nasty fluffy haired stuck in the 80's lady.

I don't go there often because I have a limited income. I do stop there when I don't want to travel further. They sometimes have some good sales. I really like their bakery & deli area; they have some things I like there. The service has always been good there. Access is good also. I will try to post a picture or two of Ray's that I took today. Unfortunately it is very smokey here and has been for a while now. Ray's is on the north end of LaPine & is easily visible from Hwy 97.

Owner had a monopoly on the grocery stores in town and so he really drove up the prices making it very expensive to shop for food. Thank goodness for the grocery outlet.

Decent grocery store but everytime i go to deli for chicken dinner or anything for that matter customer service is not so good. I have been told more then once "sorry we dont have time for that".....?? Not enough time to pull out some potato salad then cover it back up and put it back??

Management awesome, they try. Only a handful of the employees are helpful (Tim, Bill, Shane, Cora ,all the butchers) They're not the same store they were a year ago. I never get my produce or deli there (especially the fried chicken) Hours are super great! But night time is lazy employee gossip , party he'll!Cora and Shane make night time shopping a pleasure. As far as I'm concerned I wouldn't shop there if they were not there.

Everything you need in a food store. I find everyone working there to be helpful. And friendly. Staff goes out of the way to assist. Lots of organic foods. Just ask they'll order anything you need. As long as their suppliers carry it. A local store environment. Not a superstore. If you're looking for thirty cartoons of milk and a thousand pounds of beans, all wrapped in plastic, go somewhere else.

Wow. This is what a grocery store becomes when they're in the middle of nowhere without competition. With the products in the inventory presented and the decor, this just might present as a wormhole to a small town in Nebraska. There would be no way to tell until you stepped back outside. Completely unremarkable and unimpressive.

Used the bathroom today & there were no towels for drying my hands used my pants...floors were dirty with pieces of paper...they also need a button by bottle/can return station to inform them inside machines need attention..but they have some of the best chicken around...

I enjoy going to Ray's food place very nice people store seems pretty clean they have a deli a meat department. Good variety on salads very good baked chicken pretty reasonable in price meat department pretty reasonable price is a little high good produce department. Parking lot very large RV accessible. Nice place to get all your needs..

Prices vary, tending more towards pricy. The deals are typically reasonable, the meat dept being the best in that area, usually. Almost habitually short staffed later in the evening, but great customer service, and very willing to assist with finding groceries and answering questions.

There food cost way too much I got two bags of groceries for $100 I want a six pack of muffins but they were like $9 I said the hell with that but the people are nice but the the food process is unrealistic. Not a great selection as it is a pretty small store. Located in La Pine OR which is a small town of meager earnings, but the prices in the store are expensive for the area. If I need more than a few items, I go into Bend where you can everything and anything you need.

The La Pine store is the best Ray's I've visited. We were not in the market for produce, but the produce looked fresh and delicious. Huge deli section, with a good variety from which to choose. We found everything that we wanted, without any issues.

Small, well stocked local market. We were there on "restocking day" so the already small aisles were even small. In spite of the coziness, we found almost everything we came for. The meat & seafood counter was quite good. A bit higher priced than the big chains, but La Pine is a small town. I will return during our stay in the area.

Most items in Rays(across the state) are overpriced. I gave up on shopping there because I needed the handi cart(handicap) after surgery this last winter. After asking the checker two separate times and getting a "i dont know(i dont care)" response both times i figured they didnt need my business. And yes i know how to work the handi carts because i went to other stores with working carts. The produce isnt much better. The bunch of celery i bought must have been the last one on the delivery truck. All the outer stalks were broken. I like the selection and some prices of the international food selection. Grocery Outlet is the best place to shop within a 30 min drive. DOES your handi cart work yet?

How can you go wrong with a name like Ray. Sequel to A Raley's or Bel-Air. If you go there and you have the seafood salad make sure you get it from the meat department side it's cheaper and it was good. They had a nice IPA selection also

Rays business model is to screw over small towns. They scientifically raise prices on the essentials to get every penny out of you. They love the trick of opening a shop smart( same company ) near by for fake compaction, make there prices look more fair. Rays only exist in towns with no other grocery stores.

It's an okay general store. I was disappointed with the quality of the leaf lettuce a few times as had to soak it in cold water to un-wilt it. Seems like their spritzers aren't working. Otherwise, fairly broad selection of products.
