Just moved to bend Oregon and found this place after a month of living here. All I can say is wow, wow!!! By far the most stunning grocery store I have ever seen. Whoever did the graphic design, The store layout, and the visual merchandising did an amazing job. I love the fact that the building is modern, and that the interior is clean and not cluttered like most other grocery stores. No signs hanging from the ceiling, no crowded aisles, no big sale signs. Very Chic and sophisticated. I cannot wait to go back. While I may not purchase my day-to-day staples here, I will definitely come here for more specific items that you cannot find anywhere else. So many items I've never seen before. I love the fact that everything looks and taste so fresh. What's even better is that I can go and eat hot food for lunch or dinner and sit there and enjoy it just like a restaurant. I love the finishes that were selected for the floors, walls and ceiling. Very open and airy. Having lived in New York City, Washington DC, and Houston, I've seen some pretty spectacular grocery stores. But this one beats them all. Of course I wish it was not so expensive, but c'est la vie. I had the best slice of pizza I've ever tasted anywhere ever. It's a visual festival that uses all six of your senses

Good little store. Prices seem a little higher than most, but it's a nice environment and everyone is friendly. I especially love the little deli line. Fill out your order, drop it off, and usually it's pretty darn quick and they make great lunch food! The donuts are super good too. Mmmmmm donuts.

Not too impressed with this Market of Choice. It's quite expensive and I was shocked when I got charged for separately for the salad dressing after going through their salad bar. On a positive note the employees are very friendly and nice.

This is a very nice well stocked store with a great selection of items. The bakery, produce, meat and wine/cheese area are especially nice. Hot food you order to sit and have lunch as well as a hot food/salad bar for on the go. The prices are A LOT higher...like Newport market but they have everything and anything you would want. Wish they had a app to use to see their sale items and get discounts for virtual coupons instead of having to go to their website to see what's on sale. With the expensive growing/building location in this Bend area and heavy tourist traffic and no larger grocery store in the vicinity one can't expect prices to be in lower here.

This store depresses me. They are too expensive. I've gone there out of convenience and location but I hate buying like three items and paying $20. Today I wanted smoked salmon for one which I saw Wild smoked salmon in a large quantity at world market earlier, which I wish I would have bought for 14.99 but I thought I'll go get enough for just me, I dont need a lot and I'll pay around $7 and market of choice is on the way home. A small piece for 14.99! Also so many items like yogurts are more than at whole foods. I've honestly gone in that store a few times and left empty handed cuz its ridiculous!

Great store, I wish they had one in SoCal! Great selection of groceries and foods. The deli is great, the bakery is incredible too! You can also get some very good beer and wine at a little bar in the back corner of the store. I was very impressed and will come here very time I visit Bend!

As far as a grocery store goes... this is the best I have ever been to! Lots of quality healthy options, clear layout, helpful staff, and super clean. But the best part.... the deli! Or should I say buffet of wholesome hot choices? The variety of a cruise ship buffet only much more tasty, piping hot, and great quality. We were on an RV road trip and stopped here to re-stock our groceries and in the process picked up one of the tastiest meals we had on our trip in the deli at the wok station. You pick up a slip and mark your choices on it and the chef cooks up your ingredients fresh and hot. We sat outside at their little picnic tables and enjoyed our selections.... and the Mr almost went back in to make a second bowl for himself to go! Bend residents you are so lucky to have such a top notch grocery store!

Great, great great selection! They always have unique products different from other stores. I really enjoy their cheese and jalapeno chopped bread rolls and large selection of bakery sweets. The "chocolate chewies" are INCREDIBLE! Glad Bend has a Market of Choice! As a reminder for myself - I didn't care for the peanut butter gluten-free cookies (they were more sugary than peanut buttery) so don't buy them again next time I pass through!!!! :)

I love going here. It's just not a place for groceries. You Can grab a beer or glass of wine... or some food... you can also sit by the fireplace and unwind!!! You can grab something for breakfast, lunch or dinner!!! Great selection of hot food. The bakery is second to none.

This place was cool, clean, and fun to explore. When we walked in, they were making fresh squeezed orange juice that smelled amazing. They carried some of the offbeat or trendy products that you usually only find at somewhere like whole foods. Would definitely go back! The bathroom was also clean.

Market of Choice lives up to its name in that they provide staple organic items and plenty of exotic, niche types of foods as well. In general, MoC is far more expensive than others though. It's absolutely worth a visit for the exotic/niche items or their huge beer and wine selection. Also, they have a sandwich bar, large salad bar, Mongolian grill, soups, etc, that you can eat on site or take with you. Again, there's a lot to choose from for lunch or dinner. For this particular review, I built a turkey/ham sandwich that they loaded up with the vegetables I asked for. I paired it with a spicy eggplant soup, which was very tasty. It's definitely worth getting lunch or dinner here as part of your shopping trip or for a meal by itself!

Simply put this store is amazing! It has it all, friendly staff, amazing products, amazing prices. It was built like a resort. Beautifully decorated, well lit, large isles.. large selection of craft brews, wine tasting in the right rear. Large selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, gourmet cheese. You can also enjoy lunch or dinner. Grab what you like and head upstairs where there have plenty of seating to dine in. Very happy Market of Choice was placed here!!

We love Market of Choice! The prices are really pretty reasonable, and the atmosphere is amazing. The employees are all helpful and friendly, but most importantly, they all seem genuinely happy. There is plenty of hot and ready to go food! My mama is a vegetarian so I am always looking for places we can both go. She got a veggie cheeseburger with added avocado for $7.79, and I got an Asian teriyaki noodle bowl with chicken, mushrooms, baby corn, pineapple, and slivered almonds for a little more than $8. There is plenty of indoor seating, plus an upstairs area with a pretty view. There is a smoothie bar that also sells coffee, beer, and wine. Love this place so much! I am from California, and it reminds me of a mix between Sprouts and Trader Joes, but larger.

I've been there three times lately looking for Harcourt French Green Beans, they have not had them. This is something I'd expect from a common less expensive grocery store. Great market, good section, staff is always friendly and helpful! Market of Choice has a bar in the back, a nice fresh coffee ground selection, hot foods including cooked noodles, fresh soups. Cakes are wayyy to sugary. Nice calming upstairs eating area with a fireplace and nice views of the store. Down stairs eating area is more like a small coffee shop. Overall great products but defiantly too pricey for the quality.

Best grocery! Market of Choice has everything. A full service grocery with natural and conventional foods. A large section of ready to eat foods, desserts and coffee. A nice area to sit and eat complete with a fireplace and loft. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Prices are higher for organic, as always, but overall they're competitive. The deli is very accommodating. They also have a bar in the liquor section but I don't know what all it offers. There's a nice choice of specialty kitchen accessories and seasonal candies. Employees are friendly and knowledgable.

I love this gem here in Bend. They carry an awesome selection of beer, have a great deli, secret little bar in the back, amazing selection of baked goods from all the local bakeries including Sweetheart & Sparrow, my two favorite. Their customer service is excellent, service is quick.

I'm of the mindset that what I load, I'll unload. Market of Force lost $75-80 of of my business due to this stupid and rubbish policy.

This grocery store is very clean and nice. We only came in for a few things. One thing was gelato and the man at the bakery counter was very nice. We also needed bacon and went to the meat counter. Rick helped us and was great! Maybe the best costumer service I have experienced at a grocery store. We were very indecisive and he was patient and got us some fresh really nice looking bacon.

This is a great local store. Lots of unique items and high quality foods. Prices on produce are a bit high, but often they have reasonable locally sourced meats like Painted Hills and Ranger. Their hot foods and bakery are always inviting. It’s a great store to stop and pick items vs a full shopping where we are often better off going to Safeway and Costco for value. That said, I come here a couple times a week for items I can’t get at other stores.

Don't confuse this place with a Health Food store. This is strictly a rich people place for buying spendy trendy foofoo food, which happens to include some very overpriced organic and "natural" foods. Like the namesake implies lots of varieties. Also you paying for "atmosphere". So yes the place is very clean and modern, the staff the best and very helpful. A great place to take your time shopping without the drone of overhead lights and poor people smelling their poopy fingers. I definitely come here alot and consequently have spent new car money here.

A little over priced on things, but the location makes up for it for me. I live right down the street and it is extremely convenient. I would say I visit once a week for odds and ends. I love the Wok station, but unfortunately now whenever I go there for lunch there is an employee (on the bigger side, white male with blondish hair) who puts SO MUCH SAUCE in the wok bowls that they might as well be soup. I'm not kidding, I have had to drain the sauce from my bowl three times so far and even then it's still so much sauce I can barely eat it. Today I actually put some water in the bowl to try and wash off most of the sauce, and had to throw away every piece of broccoli as they were so soaked in the sauce. Also, two of the times he left the food on the grill for FAR too long, and burned it, but still served it to me. First world problems, I know, but this man is an adult working at a specialty grocery store and every other employee there makes the stuff just fine. Someone give this man some extra training or take him off the wok station.

Great market, conveniently located in middle of town. Love you ready for sticker shock when you go in as the prices are exorbitant. I'm sure quality matches, but we literally could not afford to buy food for a dinner here and drove across town to Trader Joes. Market of Choice is very similar to Whole Foods Markets in that it has a great deli counter and prepared meal options. These are much more reasonable and in line with typical pricing that you see elsewhere.

Very disappointing visit. You finally made a decision to order macaroons, probably due to the fact that the product you were making in house was absolute trash. I went from bottom to top to try and figure out the ingredients due to my dietary allergy. The counter clerk didn’t know, the baker didn’t know, and the floor manager didn’t know. The explanation I received is that the box was thrown away that the macaroons came in and no one knows. So what happens when a peanut allergy sneaks into one of the products no one has any knowledge of that you sell out of your deli??? Your manager wouldn’t even do product research to try and help me out.
