This stand had the best selection of Apple's. There prices were the best, their presentation of tastes was better and cleaner than other places, the had great descriptions of each apple as to their characteristics, best used for, how long they keep and their provenance. They also had real toilets for their customers.

Had a very nice experience. Cherries were perfect and huge! Went for peaches but weren't there the right time to pick but bought a box prepicked and that was fine. Met the owner and he was a very nice man and very welcoming.

Always enjoy a visit to Kiyokawa Orchards. Lots of variety of fresh fruits, samples help customers select. Pumpkins! Families! Dogs! Today there was a food truck out front with pizza. Busy but great service. Lots of happy faces.

Kiyokawa's has wonderful staff, a spectacular location, amazing selection and reasonable prices. We live in the area and purchase almost all of our apples here when they are open. Our grandchildren enjoy the fort and activities and festivals available in the fall. If you visit, you won't be disappointed.

This was our first time ever going to an orchard and based off the reviews we thought we would drive on out from Portland and give it a try. It was amazing to find out that there are so many different types of apples!! And now I wanna taste them all. They also had pears, plums,peaches,grapes and even crab apples at their facility. It is a family owned orchard and the family was so kind, informative and made us feel welcomed, we will definitely be coming back!

Great place for apple picking and a hayride. Beautiful setting, big selection and casual atmosphere. Kids can burn off a little steam in the play fort and jungle gym. Fiesta Days in October are best with a Mariachi band and taco truck. Can get a little crowded on nice weekends.

Great experience at the orchard. We stopped here in Mid-Sept and the place was awesome. Great Apple selection, particularly Honeycrisp. Beautiful scenario with the orchard and Mt. Hood. The people there were very friendly and they even had a cool kids play castle which the little kids loved. It isn’t that hard to get to from Portland probably only ~1hr. 45min drive. I highly recommend this place to stop for a day of apple picking.

We have been coming here every fall for 15 years. It is always a treat: a great family-owned business with delicious fruit, vegetables, honeys and jams, crisp air, and gorgeous views of Mt Hood. There is even a play fort for the kids. We can't think of a better short day trip from Portland!

Had a great time at the honeycrisp apple festival. Great apple cider and amazing coffee too. Staff was super friendly as well. So many varieties that it was hard to choose what to come home with. Even hade some honeycrisp apple donuts. Delicious! Great place to bring the kids too for a day outing. It's a was even a rainy day and I had a blast.

I’m so glad we stopped here!!! All of the other stops on the fruit loop were disappointing. There are tons of varieties of apples & pears & samples of all of them. The prices were the cheapest of every place we went. And a gorgeous view. Get some cider.

We hit up several orchards in the region and this by far the favorite. Everything here was a little cheaper than the rest. The staff is super nice and helpful. Good people. We went on the hay ride. It's corny and fun and it's free, plus you can ask questions and learn about apples and pears. Knowledge. Check out other fruit beyond apples: they had really wonderful plums and grapes i'd never come across before.

We drove out today to buy apples. We checked the varieties that were ready before we went. The apples were so green it was hard to buy any. The Macintosh apples were solid green with no color at all. All the samples tasted the same: hard, sour and dry not juicy; so you couldn't tell the apples apart by taste. The Bartlett pears were good. The plums, peaches and grapes although much riper, were way over priced. We are going to give it one more chance in late October in the hopes of finding some ripe fruit. Disappointing.

Love this place. Many, many varieties of apples and pears. In each bin was a dish of samples so you could try before you buy. We tried them all before deciding on Jonagold for eating, a pink fleshed apple (forget the name) for pies, and Honeycrisp for general purpose. Prices were excellent, better than most other places.
