It's a pretty good grocery store but the prices tend to be higher than the competition.

Overpriced sirloin steaks go brown and bad because no one will buy them. Knowing this, they refuse to drop their outrageous steak prices and let a lot of product go to waste. Also, why are they packaging their hamburger at .89 lbs? What recipe on earth asks for .89 lbs of meat? Seems like the meat department is trash, they also have no idea about food safety. They sell prestuffed pork chops that sit on the shelf for days, anyone who knows anything about food safety knows this is a major contamination and food poisoning concern. Also, there doesn't seem to be a manager in the store you can take seriously anymore, more like a bunch of college aged hipsters running a fashion show. Do not eat their meat!

This store has some nice aspects of it such as the drive up for your groceries which can be very helpful when you have a little baby and toddler to transport in -30 degree weather or if you've just had an operation and the like. This store was recently upgraded and it looks nice. I think it could be cleaner but that can be difficult with a constant flow of customers.

Great place and also has Caribou Coffee. Everyone is VERY helpful and FRIENDLY. Very good selection. Only reason they didn't get the 5* is that they have a Well Fargo instead of Gate City Bank. I bank with Gate City a local bank to the area and they have a Gate City in other locations, it should be uniform.

I'm not much of a hornbachers shopper, but liked the store, liked the meat selection, not as good as cashwise but you can get what you want for grilling and just a regular cooked meal, good seafood selection, again not like cashwise, but get what most people need, prices were good!, loved the aspect they had lobster tail unthawed just sitting there damn! Overall 7 out of 10!

I come here with my husband regularly for late night (midnight or on) shopping. I love that it's always clean and that these guys stay open 24hrs. The night crew is really friendly! I can't speak about the daytime because we rarely shop in the day. Oh and tonight I found treasure near their deli/hot foods section. It was a twice baked loaded potato. It looked sooo good and for $2.49 I was willing to take a chance on it. The picture I've included is said potato and it is JUST AS DELICIOUS as it looked!

I had a great experience and good customer service. The only thing i would suggest is to perhaps emphasize the internal policies with cashiers , so that the message is uniform accross the board. For example, on my trip i said i did not need a bag and ask if I can then have the 5 cents off. I was told that I could not, even though I did not need a plastic or paper bag. In other hornbachers I did get that discount however. Then the cashier told me if I had brought my own bag, then I would have qualified for it ( which does not make sense, because it went into my purse, which is a bag). I did not want to argue and thanked the kid who did a great job nonetheless)

Wide selection of items in large store. Prices for the same items vary between their stores in the Fargo-Moorhead area. The store is bright and pleasant to walk around. The cashiers are well trained and pleasant, at least the ones I encounter when I shop in the evening.

We like this store and all the Hornbacher's. They are always clean and well organized. The deli section is well stocked with meats and cheeses, and a good variety of salads. They some of the best breads in town, don't forget to grab a donut ball on whey through. But my favorite section is the meat department. They always have a good selection of fresh meats, at reasonable prices. The meat is counter has a butcher on hand to help you in your selections, and they are willing to put something special together for you upon request. They are a large company with stores in all corners of the fargo, Moorhead area.(hint: you get the same prices for meats at the meat counter, with a sometimes better selection, this week New York strips, I'm going to get one.) Happy shopping!

It's like most of the honrbachers in Fargo, for some strange reason thought it does carry slightly different things on occasion. The biggest differnce is things like Ben and Jerry and sometime the bakery will stock different kinds of desserts. The fried chicken like any of the stores is really good and the various specials on fish can actually be quite a deal if your looking for tuna.
