This is my go-to weekly farmers market. The ladies in the plant area know about every plant they sell. My garden is spectacular and blooming because of their advice. Fresh fruits & veggies, grass fed beef and pork, fresh fish....and stop by the flower stand. They make the best bouquets for only $10.

Great market with great selection. Prices seemed fair and the employees were friendly. This time of year they have all of their pumpkins out on tables separated by size/price. They have small pumpkins from ~$2 to massive pumpkins for ~$150 with plenty of options in between. You can checkout with cash or credit which was convenient. There also seemed to be plenty of parking. Bottom line: Easy access, good prices, good selection...would shop here again and would recommend to others.

Love this place. They used to only take check and cash but now have accepted credit cards. Fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as organic meat and eggs. It's a great place to go.

A fun farmers market offering top quality produce and homemade jams jellies honey and molasses. The best in local produce during it's season. Pumpkins available in October through Halloween, then Christmas trees until Christmas. The exceptional staff takes a winter break, then returns in April.

I am 65 yrs old and have been buying produce, pumpkins, plants and Christmas trees from Simpson's for 40 years.This summer was particularly nice. The Silver Queen corn in July/August was the best ever. I think my 40 yr old son was actually closing his eyes to appreciate the creamed corn even more. They even had Dewberries(small sweet blackberry) for a short time...wonderful❣

Simpsons produce/kings drive farmers market is amazing!!! I work for the local children's hospital in charlotte and Norman donated over 13 pumpkins, apples, and his time to us to make sure that some of our patients were having an awesome day! Everyone there was very accommodating and went above and beyond for all of us. We felt nothing but genuine kindness while we were there! I am trying to get ahold of the owner Norman, since the farmers market is closed for the season. We have some thank you gifts to give him for his generosity. Does anyone know a phone number or mailing address that I could get in touch with the owner or anyone from Simpsons produce now that the season has ended? Thanks!

I visited recently from out of town and was blown away that people consider this a farmers market...because it most certainly is not. It completely undermines the purpose of the farmers market. There are a FEW local vendors that offer items from their home. Most of this outdoor grocery store is made up of vendors offering the same goods from the same out-of-state distributors. They remove the produce from the shipping containers and are basically glorified produce workers at a grocery store. Save your money and time, and either find an actual farmers market or buy your food from Florida at the grocery store for a lot less. Two stars, not to discount the few local offerings.

Outdoor market with a good selection of produce, meats, and flowers. Lots of people so it's always crowded. Air-conditioners are mostly for the workers so shopping can be uncomfortable as it gets very hot.

I love these guys. Its not all local and you are going to pay a bit more to be in the city but you know that it pays the rent. Plenty of nc and sc options and if you have any questions they have all of the answers. I do the huge markets sometimes but you can park, shop and get back to your car in no time here.

This place made me realize how much local grown produce is so better than what you find in the grocery stores. The avocados were delicious even though it is basically the end of avocado season. The speckled butter beans brought back memories of when I would help my great grandmother shell beans out of her garden. I cooked them with a piece of smoked meat and they were to die for. Way better than the frozen ones out of the grocery store.

What a cool way to start your day. Fresh-local produce, canned items, local honey and fresh flowers/plants. The setup was perfect. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was super friendly. I will stop here often!

This is the place to go for fresh produce, and during the holidays, a Christmas tree. The other vendors during fresh produce season are great as well. We have yet to have a bad experience in dealing with them. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is I think the Christmas trees are a tad on the expensive side. We paid less for Christmas trees in Boca Raton, Florida, where everything is insanely expensive. Make the small trees $25 instead of $40.

I was so disappointed. The vendors couldn't tell me where the food came from. How can you be a farmer's market without knowing the farm it came from? The tomatoes were refrigerated or green house grown. They were pretty and looked like heirlooms... They were very much not There were massive produce trucks in the parking lot. In any quality farmer's market I've been to, they tend to have a truck or van for each farm. The Concord/Kannapolis was pretty good.

Totally awesome! I usually go to the one off of Yorkmont and had never visited this location, until today. It is small, but that has nothing to do with the variety. They are all beyond friendly (huge plus), which I cannot say for the other location and this will be my new spot. At least 80 percent of my diet consists of fruit and tons of veggies, so this wonderful market is everything for me. Everything looked amazing!!!!

It is a nice market. Seems like they have limited parking for cars because there is lots of signage directing vehicle traffic. Wasn't clear to me where to go with a bike though? It is right off the greenway...where is your bike rack!?

Very disappointed in this market. They advertise NC produce, but I have seen more than once an out-of-state sticker still left on the produce. When I was there the sign said North Carolina squash, but the squash had the farm sticker from New York still on it. They also do not sell hardy any organic produce. It's basically a grocery store that is outside. This food doesn't even appear to be local! I would not trust this market.

Better than any grocery store around. Some produce local, some not. It's labeled as such. It's very inexpensive. My meat man, my egg man and my fish man are all there. One stop shopping. I'm sad when the winter comes. I hate store produce. Even earthfare has awful produce. The stores ship in very bland fruit and vegetables. Oh, and I love my Cloister Honey. You buy it anywhere else, and the mark-up will blow your socks off.
