Great market with outstanding variety of products. I can get raw milk and elk meat, as well as personal items and dinner supplies all right there! I drive from Fairview because it's that good.

The two people in the cafe today treated me horribly after my car had broken down beside their business. It was unbelievable how disrespectful and mean that they were to me. After I had to push my car off to the side, the man and the woman on duty decided to sit and watch me. As I proceeded to come back in another car to gather my belongings and call the two truck, one man on duty got out of the store, and screamed at me like a crazy person. I will never do business here, and I think that anyone else who is interested in coming here should change their mind.

Over priced. Very limited selection. Not sure what they are trying to be. Health shop or grocery store. Maybe both but not doing a great job at either. Employee was on phone texting so pretty disengaged. Local eggs, but even in Seattle I paid less and the yolks were better colored. I heard there was a cafe, but no one was preparing fresh food. They did have some baked goods. My nut and seed muffin tasted 2 days old.

The building and grounds are cool. Prices are on the high end. Decent selection. The staff I encountered, could really work on their people skills. Didn't offer any assistance. Just stayed in a back room. My sister and I were the only ones in the store. So it wasn't busy. I will not be returning. When going to a small, locally owned store. Paying a little more for a product is worth it, if customer service is good!

This is my favorite place to shop in the Asheville area by far! An awesome experiment in community and food. They have both groceries and ready-made stuff.

I was very impressed by the selection of this quaint little store. A vast variety of holistic and organic products ranging from fresh produce to herbal supplements and protein powder. They also have a little outdoor cafe area that uses locally grown food, and when I say locally grown I mean they pick the vegetable or fruit right there and then blend it into a smoothie. Check this place out if you're in the area and you'll be sure to find something you absolutely have to have and taste what "fresh" is supposed to be.

Had a wonderful lunch with the kids sat out side under the geodesic dome. The kids loved watching the chickens and sitting in the hammock swings. Our elk dog and bison dog were delicious and there energy shot gave me the energy to keep up with the kiddos after a morning of walking around downtown.

Great little market with a greenhouse and smoothie wagon off a side street in Black Mountain ⛰. My herbalism apprenticeship is right around the corner so on our lunch breaks I come here for snacks and groceries. This is the only store I can find my favorite bread (made by Rhu) and I love they sell it in half loaf sizes since I rarely eat bread and can never finish a whole loaf before it goes bad

I don't know what to say other than that this place has a great vibe and doesn't seem stale or old. At the suggestion of a fellow camper at the Cumberland Gap National Park, I drove to Black Mountain while camping near Asheville. Lots of trendy cute shops but this small and homey business is a special out-of-the-way spot that you must visit.

Very cool shop. My daughter and I went there specifically to find something for our face, necks, hands, etc. We wanted some type of natural cream and we found it. I don't recall the name but it was made locally and it feels great. Also there was a man playing his guitar while we were inside and another man was recording him. It made for a cozy experience as it was sleating and very cold outside. The place is wonderful and has all different kinds of products. We will go back when in Black Mountain.

The market is cute but skip the food truck. You'll pay $10-15 for poorly executed, good ingredients delivered in 20-30 minutes by inattentive and rude kitchen staff.

I love this place! During the spring and summer they serve some delicious food in their little food truck. In addition to the great food, the seating are is so nice to relax in. While there you can see their garden, chickens and dome with swing chairs. Although the market/store part is pricey, they cater only to local products and mostly, if not all, organic and low waste products.

Yummy sandwiches served by a very likable crew. Sit out by a working organic farm complete with Buckminster Fuller Dome and chickens. This is the best place to relax and enjoy the day in Black Mountain!

They had most everything I needed and didn't hesitate to guide me to a competitor for an item or two that they didn't have. Now that's customer service! And I can tell how happy their hens are because their eggs were DELICIOUS... AND colorful and beautiful! Great shopping experience. I'll definitely be returning.
