I was surprised this store had less than 5 stars, so I felt the need to add my 2 cents. The staff is always friendly here, helpful, will walk you to an item if you ask about something... not just point in a direction!! I don't leave feeling stressed or exasperated as I do in some stores. I think their slogan fits... 'where shopping is a pleasure'! I live within walking distance of another grocery store, so I go there most often; but I prefer Publix because of the attitude of the employees.

I ordered a graduation cake for my son on May 15 . I didn't realize they messed up the word MATH on my cake until we pulled it out of the box at dinner. It was a simple fix, so I don't understand why they didn't just fix it when the mistake was done. Instead of making a H in math, they made a N. To correct it, they put a line through the N and made it a H. It would have been ok, but the slanted line from the N wasn't removed. This will be my first and last time ordering cakes from Publix.

Staff is always very nice. Whenever I walk by someone stocking shelves they always ask me how my day is going and it's a really nice experience. The store is very clean, brightly lit, and well organized. And they have a very big selection compared to other grocery stores nearby. Cheaper than Harris Teeters without any sort of membership card.

This store maintains its inventory with an infinite array of FOODS and PRODUCTS which sets a standard of QUALITY that is not surpassed. Also, their VISUAL PRESENTATION and Store Layout sets this store apart from other stores. Placed an order of ribs dinner at 2:17pm for a 4:15pm pick-up. I get there on time and it hasn't been made. Guy tells me they don't even have the ribs cooked and it's going to be 25-30 minutes. He told me this at about 4:25 after I've been standing around for a solid 10 minutes waiting.

I'm so disappointed in this store, every person of color has been fired at this location for absolutely no reason. It's so disheartening because I thought Publix did not discriminate at all!! This is a good supermarket. The food here is fresh, specially the vegetables, fruits and meat, but the prices are higher than in other supermarkets. The staff is very kind and helpful. The only thing I don't like about this Publix are the self checkout machines, they are very annoying.

The employees are unprofessional and rude. There is a vast amount of sexualization towards women, especially in the produce department. However, the people who cook and give out samples are very kind, but everyone else looks like they’d rather die than be there. As a customer, I’ve received many complaints by the workers on how they’re treated by management. The deli is disorganized, everyone has an attitude, and don’t get me started on the customer service workers up front. When Publix first came to the Carolinas, my husband and I were very pleased with the customer service and structure of the store. However, this store is an accurate representation of everything a grocery store shouldn’t become. The employees are judgemental, I’ve witnessed managers say disrespectful remarks on products customers were buying, it happened to me recently, as well as my sister. Don’t waste your time and money in this store.

You just can't beat the BOGO deals here. Plus, the place is so clean you can literally eat off the floor. Go ahead and try it, I did. It was delicious and I didn't even get sick. Seriously though, staff is super duper friendly, prices are competitive and they have a great selection on everything. And if you don't see something, just ask and they can special order it for you.

The Starbucks in this Publix truly negates the level of customer service in the rest of the store, and that's one of the reasons I'm giving them 2 stars. I've had a good experience while shopping for groceries here, however I'm mostly in this location for its Starbucks. One barista in particular, Bonnie, constantly surprises me with her level of disrespect and unprofessionalism in regards to how she communicates with customers. While she's been disrespectful on a few other occasions, my experience on August 14th kind of pushed me to leave this review (which I don't like to do because retail and customer service employees deserve a break sometimes). While waiting in line on August 14th I saw the new protein blend cold brew and thought I'd give it a try. As soon as the words "protein blend" left my mouth, Bonnie let out a sigh and rolled her eyes. She then proceeds to find the recipe book, flip through it quickly, and say "Well I guess I was gonna have to make it eventually". She proceeds to talk about how terrible the drink tastes and displaying how unhappy she was to be making this menu item. I mean, how does a customer even respond to that? I respectfully asked for something on the menu and was met with rudeness. After I got my drink, I head to the produce section to look and hear her talking about having to make the drink to the next customer in line. After this experience I don't feel comfortable coming to this store and will happily buy coffee from the nearby cafes as well as the Starbucks in the nearby Harris Teeter.

Being from Florida, Publix is like my second home! I love the parking garage beneath this location. Such a smart design...I hate to see large asphalt lots taking up valuable land. Anyways, the parking spaces are wide which is rare in Charlotte. Staff is friendly and store is bright and clean. I drive across town to shop here weekly rather than going to the HT a mile away.

Extremely disappointed. I shop at Publix often, however I will not be returning to this location ever again. My wife and I were looking to purchase a cake out of the bakery display case and waited for over 10 minutes without being helped, or even acknowledged by the bakery clerk. The clerk was doing some work in the back which is understandable, until she made eye contact with both us and continued working and pretending we weren’t there. She even ignored us when my wife clearly said we needed assistance. When I informed the manager he seemed indifferent about the situation, even as he went over to the bakery to talk to the clerk. Even after speaking to the manager we were not assisted in getting the cake out of the case. This is not service, which is sad because that’s what Publix as a company prides itself on.

Ordered my wedding cake 2 months ago, come my wedding day no cake and a bunch of bull. My husband was so upset because at first they didn't know where it was, then the figured out it wasnt made. I was given a cake in the back not my flavor/design/or correct cupcakes, or mini dessert trays ordered. Let's just say I will never order another thing from publix. They way they handled the situation and then tried to give us a $50 gift card for over $200 work of cake and desserts not made. Wedding day was definitely ruined when it came to my desserts and me being happy with spread. I threw the whole cake and cupcakes away cuz I couldn't eat it and everything was wrong.

Nice store with huge selection but I can't believe this place doesn't have scanning guns for their cashiers, which means instead of being able to leave a big bag of pet food in your shopping cart it must be hoisted onto the belt, scanned at the register and then placed back into the cart. Also, at this location there is a dearth of parking spots in front of the store because the tenants of the apartment complex next door ignore the "parking for Publix customers only."

Where shopping is a pleasure... I am a long time Publix Shopper and often recommend people shop at Publix when they're in the vicinity of one. This Publix took its store's motto. Every employee we saw throughout the store greeted us and most offered to help. As we were leaving the young gentleman found our Snickers bar at the bottom of a bag so we could eat it in the car and another gentleman bringing in carts offered to help us and help him as well. I have a high bar when it comes to what I expect from a Publix and this one surpassed even that. Good job, all!

Yesterday, I went to this Publix on my lunch break to buy some mini Ben and Jerry's. I know they usually have them 10/10, so who can say no to a $1 ice cream? I grabbed four of them and went to the register. When checking out, they rang up for $1.39 instead of $1.00. I made a remark, something like, "Oh bummer, I didn't know I actually had to buy ten." (Because you know some stores, you don't HAVE to buy as many as the special tells you to...) I had already swiped my card before the cashier could react. She says, "Oh no! We need to get that fixed for you. I can't do it here, but you can go to customer care." Any time I hear customer care I hear "long lines and grumpy employees" so I told her it was okay, it was just a dollar. She stayed strong on her argument, saying they absolutely needed to fix it. Before I know what's happening, my bagging boy (yes, they have those at Publix) took my bags and carried them to customer service. He holds them the ENTIRE time while the most cheery person I've ever encountered starts to remedy my incorrect total. He gives me $2 in cash and says, "I'm really sorry this happened. We wanted to make it right, so I went ahead and gave you one of the ice creams for free!" Then, the young man holding my bags continues to carry them out the door and I realize he is about to carry them all the way to my car. I thank him a hundred times but I take the bags from him (it was just toilet paper and ice cream) and I go to my car realizing that was the best customer service I've had in a very, very long time. Oh, he also gave me a coupon for a free cereal. Just to be extra nice. Additionally, I just want to add that Publix is never understaffed and when a cashier isn't busy, they stand at the front of the row and help direct you if you are looking for something. SERIOUSLY. Publix gets ALL of the awards.
