Store is always clean and well stocked. Most of the teenagers are really polite and every time I get a lottery ticket from the woman manager tells me "good luck!" I'm always asked if I need help out to my car (which I don't but thanks for asking every time!). It's that extra attention that makes our local ingles a great place to shop. Missing one star because I bought some cottage cheese and didn't check the date - it expired day after I bought it (was not discounted - usually things expiring soon they clearance price) opened it the very next day on it's expiration date and found mold.

I like this store. It has great, fresh produce and the new meat market manager, Tyler, is jam up helpful. Stopped here many times, really appreciate the triple points towards gas on Tuesday, and double points on weekends. I'm going to get groceries anyway, might as well get my gas for less, too. Glad there's a traffic light to help you get in and out on busy Long Shoals Rd.

Great store WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. And DONT PAY WITH CHECKS* *Long story, sorry* I left my card at work and of course didn't notice it until I was checking out. Its after work, so a very busy time. I write a check and surprise...it declines. I check my bank now thoroughly embarrassed. I have more than enough money. Try it again, declines again. I call the bank, and they assure me it's nothing on their end and is willing to speak to the customer service. I walk up to the customer service desk and I explained to the lady that I called the bank, and they reassured me everything was fine on their end, it may be that individual scanner. I asked if it would be possible to check out the few items I had (<10) just to see if it was the scanner. I really didnt want to have to wait in line and hold up a lot of people if it declines again. Nope. She gave me a look of how utterly inconvenient that would be for her and her response was "I mean, you can go through a different register to see if it would work...but you know there's no guarantees." This was high volume time. I'm already very embarrassed as it is. I understand it was my fault for leaving my card. And it's not as if I was expecting them to let me leave with the groceries unpaid. It was an uncomfortable and unlucky situation and I was treated as if I was a burden and inconvenience. I literally left, got in my car and cried I was so embarrassed. So I drove back to the office, grabbed my card. Paid for my groceries and I will not be back to this Ingles again. There are plenty of other Ingles I can go too. Long story short, dont pay with a check. They say they accept them, but God forbid their check scanner doesn't register.

Just wanted to give a shout-out to the pharmacy and store staff. I left my doctor's office that was about a half mile away and the prescription was ready by the time I arrived. At other pharmacies it's about a 30 minute wait. Also, the store staff is always really friendly and helpful. So glad this is my local Ingles!

We were vacationing in Asheville and went here for some pick-me-ups. It's a nice, clean local store. I'd call it "no frills" when compared to Whole Foods or Wegmans but they had nice produce, great local beer & wine selection and fair prices for the various items we purchased. Oh, and they have a Starbucks kiosk if that matters to you.

This is a conveniently placed, clean, and well staffed ingles. This has been our go-to grocery store in the area. At first it was how close it was to the home, but then we realized how nice it was. The efforts put into making the grocery store more feel more premium - such as chalk boards with prices - is great. Also the prices are very competitive. Keep putting effort into the place - it’s showing!

When it's in season there is lots of good local produce. Really great selection of several brands for most groceries and products. The beer and wine selection is really tough to beat. You would have to go to a specialty shop to beat their selection. Tons of organic stuff in all sections. Good place to grab a bite to eat. I suggest the sub sandwiches. Great flavor and a good bargain.

Growing up in asheville we always had Ingles market. It was and still is the go to grocery store. It feels like home, and is a comfort to see when you have been on a long trip away from home and had to shop at other locations. When Bob Ingle first started the line, he wanted a place for the residents of his community, often poor, to have an affordable place to get quality goods. That practice of quality at a fair price is still in use today and is why they have lasted and continue to grow. Get an ingles card and save even more on the items you were already going to buy, then rack up the points and use them to get your fuel at a discounted rate. 5, 10, 15 or even 20 cents off a gallon of gasoline is always a plus. So if you don't shop here, you should consider it.

I have left several reviews of several different Ingles markets. They're all very much the same, they all have excellent meat, very pretty produce and a large array of canned goods, and Frozen Goods the prices may not be the lowest in town, but it's the best combination of good prices and a wide array of excellent foods.

All of the angles are different depending on income in a certain area and what people are able to afford so I think they actually do a pretty good job of figuring that out and keeping everyone fed I never knew Bob Ingle but I know a lot of the managers at Ingles and they are all exceptional people my two cents

A great grocery store. The selection is always good. The store is kept clean and there is always plenty of check out lanes open plus there are self check out lanes. The store is very well appointed. The management is the very best. The deli is a good place to get your fresh sliced meats and the bakery always has delicious cakes, cookies and pies made.

More variety than anyone can imagine. Prices are competitive but produce prices seem a bit high. Meat department personnel are always eager to help with selection, slicing and even special requests. Our experience with the bakery, sandwich makers and deli has always been pleasant. The fried chicken here with side dishes beats many of the local restaurants.

I want an Ingles in my town! This place was amazing. If you want it, you can get it here. They have a Starbucks when you walk in. There deli case is just crazy with selections. It starts with gelato, then it has pizza, MTO boars head subs, Asian bar ($6 a plate!), country cooking choices ($5 a plate!!), boars head meats and cheese (more choices than I have ever seen), and it has a huge cold selection underneath. Sushi, potato salad, hamburgers, hot dogs.... They also have a salad bar, wing bar, and olive bar. They also have a huge selection of bulk items and even FRESH peanut butter. The customer service does not do the store justice. That is why the 3 star.

Ingles completely lies in their promotion about getting points to discount gas. They don't tell you that the gas points expire each month. I was saving mine up, but you can't do it. My biggest complaint is that they never tell you that.

It seems like every time I go to this store there is a CSM working the self checkout. The managers (Crystal, I think) is very rude and will yell and cuss at customers for no reason. Needless to say I'll be going to Hendersonville road now if I'm out this way.

Very convenient to the Interstate 26 and Long Shoals Road intersection, the smaller Ingle's is close to their other stores in Arden, Fletcher, and Mills River. Sadly, Ingle's gas prices vary wildly depending on what they think they can squeeze out of their customers at a particular store. Their stores are, however, uniformly well-stocked, brightly lighted, and pleasing to the eye. If you are really on a tight budget, go to a Walmart Supercenter for the best prices, but so-so selection. Also, unlike Walmart, Ingle's is always adequately cooled in the summer and heated in the winter.
