Staff is great as always but I am so frustrated with Ingles and this store I dont like going there. It's a slap in the face for our area when I go in other stores that have been replaced that were already years newer then this one. Come on ingles step up your game. Good selection of food not offered at other grocery stores or big box chain retailers. However, I see a lot of their product close to the expiration date so use caution. That staff is very attentive and nice as well as the store being clean.

I shop here primarily for groceries, a huge store with pretty good selection. Can get gluten free items here and various international products. Could improve on getting a wider variety of organic produce and keeping the stock fresh, the organic section always looks sad. The store is in great need of reorganizing. Products will be spread out over different aisles, as just one example the gluten free baking products are not on the baking aisle at all, and they put crackers in 3 or 4 different places, making it frustrating to find things. Check out experience is usually good with several lines open and self checkout available.

Prices are ok, especially if you have the card which is free. When I use self checkout there's usually this sweet lady that welcomes us and helps us out most of the time. They have a bakery and hot foods, etc. Mostly clean from what I've seen.

Self check out is a terrible experience. The person(s) working self check out can't be bothered to help either bc they're too busy standing around gossiping with a coworker or busy snickering at someone struggling to lift something heavy while trying to check out. Seen and heard it happen twice in my recent trips which is why I seldom go there or recommend this place to others.

This store is in need of a renovation. While it doesn't seem dirty it's very dated and dim. Management has brushed me off a couple of times that I've had questions. Staff is friendly and young. Great location, decent selection, but deli department needs staff members who don't act like they hate their job. Lady who took my order today, blatantly ignored me the first minute even though I was next to the people in line ahead of me, and had a rude tone, told her twice I wanted the dinner with entree and two sides but only got pieces of chicken and biscuit. Asked if she had leg pieces left and just said no without trying, I found a leg for her. Dunno what her problem was, but felt like I didn't need to be treated rudely for no reason, other than that one deli associate, good store.

I'm not a fan of Ingles. Note: I once shopped at Ingles all the time in the Asheville area however, the Morganton Ingles is just not the same quality of service. Today I broke down and decided to go the Ingles deli for fried chicken (which I preferr) but the staff in deli section wasn't focused on customer service. The lady I was behind finally just walked a way with nothing (at this point that should have been a sign of things to come). I had to ask the cashier for help in the deli to get my father's day fried chicken. The nice lady pointed me out to a gentleman in that area which resulted in another wait while he finished his conversations (yes two different conversations). He then final helped me by mangling my chicken as he dropped in the box (but I wanted Ingles fried chicken, preferably with breading still on them). It will be a long while before I return to Ingles groceries or deli items.

This is the best grocery store in town besides food Matters. I don’t like other people bagging my food though. Here’s why! But you can actually find some organic food there! It’s rare in the state NC. The price on Coca-Cola pop was too high. But there was one cashier, he didn’t have any customers in his lane, & when I went over there I realized why! His fingernails and hands were ate up! You did not have to look closely to notice it ! Woe! but his fingernails we’re covered, I MEAN covered with cauliflower skin formations.He was also missing a couple of fingernails! My husband was really mad about one of the young men cashiers there. His eyes were jaundice, young and Asian orMexican without an accent. My husband was mad! He said “why did you let him handle my keys?!” He went on, “they should make him wear gloves because his hands are covered in contagious-HPV warts and he is touching peoples food and key-rings” “

Love this store! I had been going there for the last 5 years regularly, until I had to recently move. Great prices and very friendly staff! Especially the butchers, they always where available for questions, sometimes even special request accommodations! Like they would stop what they where doing, just to get you what you where looking for. The meats, OMG is so good and fresh tasting! Since me leaving Knoxville, I've tried another store, not Ingles and the meat is horrible! Oh how I'm going to miss that store! Especially those Butchers! Godspeed guys......

AVOID the peanut butter roll from the bakery. Everything else in the store is great but this is an affront to confectionery and almost ruined Christmas. The white part somehow has absolutely zero flavor, and manages to also make it impossible to taste the peanut butter as well. It's like eating white, tasteless play-doh.

Great place to shop. Clean Store, friendly staff. Good prices and great selection. It has tons of parking. If you can't find something just ask and you'll be pointed in the right direction. They have a great selection of products and have a good range of prices. The store constantly has buy one get one free or half off when you use the Advantage Card. The more you use your card the more savings you get on all products in the store. With your Advantage Card you earn fuel points and can save up to 20 cents might be up to 30 cents on every gallon of gas depending on how many points you earn each month. There are Ingles Grocery stores all over Western NC and SC maybe even GA TN and possibly another state. I've always liked these Grocery stores better than any of the others.

Listen I LOVE me some Ingles!! I only go for their delicious salad bar, guacamole, sushi, subs, Boars Head deli, doughnuts, fruit, breakfast, mashed potatoes & the best part their mouth-watering Fried Chicken! If you have never had Ingles fried chicken, oh honey you are missing OUT!! It's the BEST grocery store fried chicken & it beats out a lot of chain fast food fried chicken since I'm being honest. We ONLY get fried chicken from Ingles and that will never stop as long as their chicken is still THE BOMB! And their baked Italian chicken is Wonderful too! The store is always clean & plus they have Starbucks & gelato so, what's not to love about Ingles!

Ingles has the nicest meat display of any grocer. There meat is fairly priced. Employees are helpful and courteous. It usually isn't crowded and I can shop leisurely. They ask if I need assistance after my order is processed. One thing they need to do is get some of the mini buggies.

Big selection, chill vibe. It's like a Kroger but better. Their beer cooler is awesome--they offer a flat price mix-and-match six pack, where you get to choose out of a really decent selection of singles to craft your own pack for $9.99. Just make sure your cashier doesn't try to ring up each bottle, because each one scans as a six-pack of its own.

Meh, it's a grocery store. The card chip reader is quick and unlike Food Lion I don't have to wait what feels like forever to check out. The inside feels like something from the 80s and the coolers look even older. If your nostalgic for that kind of thing, more power to you, but for the rest of us it could use some updating. This store has the potential to do some real damage to the Food Lion down the road if they'd invest in it. Update: They've fallen behind on cleaning. Today I saw dead bugs and some weird dust that looked like saw dust on the shelves. OMG it's like they gave up or became complacent. Either way this is unacceptable and I won't be going back for a while.

I stopped there and got the "Meat & Two" meal-deal for $5. Their Fried Chicken is great! Just wish they had corn in addition to the beans, as the Macaroni and the Cornbread aren't too good, but you can get a regular roll and it is the cheapest around! The employees are very nice and the place is clean, more than I can say of most of the places around there, particularly the Clock across the street, which is flat-nasty. Good place to shop!

Nice people and very clean, but with a disturbing tendency to be out of organic radishes unless I ask for them once a week. They have really great organic radishes, better than Whole Foods or Earthfare, with a great taste and the greens attached, but they don't carry them consistently despite my regular polite pleading. Large selection but everything is over priced compared to the other grocery chains in town. Negative stars for the deli. Spaghetti was dried out and had a crusty look to it. When another customer pointed it out the young man behind the counter stirred it up and then asked "Is that better" with a serious attitude. Definitely stay away from the deli unless you want to run the risk of food poisoning.

Won't be using ingles anymore. I have 2 advantage cards attached to phone numbers. Everytime its something different at a different location. This time neither number work at this location but they work in Simpsonville location. Yet 1 number works when you purchase a money order and then both work at Simpsonville and the rep didn't even try to assist or call a manager to see why the cards weren't registering. So all this is a headache so I will return to Walmart or Food Lion where I know the customer service and prices are exceptional. I will pay more for better service.
