Great store impressive priceand best of all is that the layout is very nicely done for indian grocery

Alisha Vernekar

Great Indian spread of groceries. Also serves delicious snacks like chat and samosas. Yummmmmmmm. A great place to get your Indian groceries.

Komal Kubsad

The Indian chats here are delicious!!! All the items on the menu are great! But on the grocery side you would want to check for expiry dates for a few items like the masala powders, other than everything is good.

srinath P

Grocery part is awesome, but i would not suggest halal here , no quality or service.

James Perumpillichira

Indian grocery store with wide variety of selections. You also can grab a quick bite to eat with Pav Bhaji, Chole bhatura , chats etc. I wouldn't say that these snacks are as delicious as at a stand alone restaurant or a popular road side joint in India. They're definitely good value for money.

Aarti Bhati

This store caters your all basic needs of Indian some of other Asian cuisine. They have their another branch in high point but Greensboro store has more variety. They should be more proactive with their offers.

Gaurav Verma

Simple homely food with good quality.

Vijay Alagarraj

Definitely recommend this grocery store and home cooked meal at their kitchen is a bonus; shop and eat in one stop!

This is Greensboro's hidden secret for really good vegetarian Indian food at a great price. Try the shahi paneer, the Punjabi sarson ka saag with makki di (a cornmeal roti!), the tarka dahl, the vegetable pakoras, delectable paneer pakoras, and always ask about the subji of the day! It's a very casual, small place for dining in, and while we wish they used more environmentally friendly plates and tableware, we always take our Styrofoam home to recycle. Their grocery is very well stocked, including a great selection of gluten-free flours, including teff, millet, and chickpea flours. I'm also impressed with their growing selection of organic items, particularly beans and flours. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, making every visit an enjoyable trip.

This store carries a variety of food items. I frequently shop here twice a week. I have been shopping in this store for a long time and the owners from the beginning was very friendly. The store has expanded a lot but for the last two years i have really experienced discrimination from the owner and the employees. My country of origin is East Africa, Zanzibar. All my years growing up in Zanzibar, i was raised around Indians from Nepal, India, Muslim cultures, and other cultures from around the world. We cook similar food and i was very happy to find this Indu shop in Greensboro NC. The owners have followed me around while i'm shopping. One cashier had began to come very close to me while I was looking for a hair product. I calmly ask her why she was following me around and she said the owner had told her to do so. I was very shocked and didn't believe her because the owners had always been kind and i just shrugged the idea off. I went back on the store again on February of 2019 and i was the first customer in the store. They had just opened the store. I greeted the owner and he didn't respond. I went on to find my spices, and to my disbelief the male owner was staring at me while I picked a bottle of castor oil. I left that isle and went to another and guess who was following me around??? the old man. Truly the owner should put a billboard and indicate they only sell their products to the Native Indians. They totally discriminate against blacks and Africans because they have the stereotype that black people steals. This time i was not carrying my bag but only had my debit card and keys on my hands. I was so disgusted by the experience and i will never step my foot in this store again. My advice to any blacks or Africans, please don't waste your time and money shopping here. Order your stuff on Amazon or Ebay. At least there you won't face discrimination.

Went there for lunch, amazing food! Ot was quick, inexpensive and very tasty!

Great selection of Indian groceries and cooking implements. There is even a wide selection of frozen dinners that feature Indian cuisine. This is the first place that comes to mind when I need to stock up for Indian recipes. When the ingredients can be found elsewhere, the prices are most competitive here. The store aisles can be a little cramped when the store is busy, but it is not much of an inconvenience. The in-store chaat house has reasonably priced menu selections, and our family loves the food. The menu is vegetarian which makes ordering easy for our household, as we actually have plenty of options. The employees are mostly quietly in their tasks, but when they engage with customers, they are polite, knowledgeable and professional.

This is my favorite go to spot for unique herbs that are hard to find....I also love their incense.

Danice Taylor

The vegetarian food options are delicious and flavorful and always made fresh when ordered.

Vamsi Chandra

I was very impressed by the extensive selection of Indian spices, snacks, grains and frozen food. The store even has a halal meat butchering shop in the back. Also, the chat place has very affordable menu items and I personally found dahi puri to be very tasty. The owner was really thoughtful and was willing to assist.

Surbhi Kumar

They have everything in stock and seasonal tropical fruits. Their Punjabi dhabba is amazing. they serve home cooked meals like very clean and tasty and also less spicy and oily and reasonable price.

Fani Mwasiti

I love going there and buying some spices and some other Indian food.

Suddha K

An excellent source for Asian and Indian groceries! They have so many things! The frozen food selection is especially great. Potato and pea samosas, wow! The restaurant inside is good also.

Nitin Dafade

Good place for Indian food in greensboro

Vinita Harry

Decent selection, but problem is they keep stocking expired items on shelves. Tired of coming home, opening the jar and finding stale things. And it’s not like expired this month, it’s been over a year both times. It has happened twice and …

Atanu Roy

Not much varity . Good is there is a small snack bar

debraj ghosal

Good vegetarian options, with very reasonable prices. Good for quick bite, one can get the taste of home cooked food. Chaats are very good here. Good portions. Variety of Indian sweets available here. You can get almost all Indian groceries here. Owners are nice. I often visit this place for lunch.

eh69557 .

Best vegetarian food in Greensboro! I like to walk around the store and check out the produce while waiting for an order; I just picked up some new curry powder to try.

Rakesh Harish

Economical grocers and great food joint! Love their papdi chaat!

Sadia Pollard

Good vegetarian options for reasonable prices.

Tarun Cousik

It's a great cheap mom and pop chaat shop. The grocery store itself is deceptively large with a lot of selection for Indian food.

David O'Mahony

The Chatt Café serves great food - honestly one of the best veggi thalis I’ve eaten anywhere. Good price and friendly service. The plates are plastic and the cups are polystyrene so a heap of never-decomposing landfill is generated week after week. If only the traditional Indian steel plates and cups were used this place would be perfect!

rekha singh

I found some Walmart products like grate value olive oil, great value granulated sugar, nestle evaporated milk but the prices of these products were triple from that of Walmart. Buying these products from Walmart and selling it in Indian shop that too tripling the price doesn't seem right.

hemu2300 .

I love going here for all my Indian food needs!! The prices for spices are cheap and the staff members are extremely helpful in finding items you need. I go here at least once or twice every other week to enjoy the delicious food from the restaurant inside. the snacks isle is delicious for a bite in between meals and their frozen section is extremely helpful for any busy person who needs to eat and doesn't have time to cook. Plus it's mostly healthy items to choose from. The only thing I've noticed is the produce section is a bit over priced and I prefer G Mart located behind them for those items. They have a section for skin, hair and body care which I've been using and have noticed a dramatic difference since. I can't wait to go back!! :)

Sudharshan Gopal

One of the best Indian stores around.

bobpin byky

If you are from India then you must visit this shop. This shop has everything from indian condiments to papad, frozen veggies and other food items, south Indian spices, sweets, cereals ,pulses, pooja samagri, utensils, cleaning stuff. If u r hungry u can come and eat here too. I would suggest go try "samosa chole chaat" and special thali. Staff is very nice and helpful.

shilpa rao

The food at indu is really really good. We drive down to the place almost every other week. They cater to mostly Indians and hence have been able to retain the “Indian ness” in the food. Kudos to the Punjabi couple who work really hard in the kitchen. The grocery store has a good selection of Indian grocery but make sure to check the labels for expiration dates on packed and unpacked items.

Wahdat Akbari

A wide selection. Great low cost place for halal meat. I highly recommend

Aanish Oza

Dwayne freeman

Jay Balan

I make a stop here for lunch or dinner everytime when driving between other cities. Excellent thali. Their panner paratha is awesome! Very authentic food.

Sakinah Hur

The area hosts South Asian and Multi-Asian grocery stores with Korean and Yemenese restaurants... This specific market has a wide variety of Indian food products and I do like the brands they have in stock. Their rice selection is par excellence... There is also a halal meat market which is clean and organized... Indian clothing store and beauty salon; the area also has a Korean salon... There is also a small Myanmar boutique food store... There is also space to do business and is in an area with a growing population, for which, investment now in retrieving financial benefits later is quite the smart move... Indian food products tend to be vegetarian and this is halal... There is a snack store inside for hot food and Indian sweets... Mmmmmm! Kaju barfi... Pani Puri Mmmmmm! Lassi Mmmmmm! Enjoy...

Sanjay Patel

If you want great Indian spice and groceries this is the place best in town

Sivakumar Anbazhagan

Muhammad Ali

Its pretty good place in NC. They have almost everything only problem is prices r little bid high

Abhay S.

You will get mostly everything that you want in Indian Kitchen, I didn't find rates that good. It is on higher side. They have a section where you can get food and snacks, also u get indian thali. Quality is not that great but ok for the cost. (2 for $9/ 2 for $14)

kumara swamy seenu

Good indian store but items are bit over priced,. You get good tasty indian chats.

taknequa alston

This please was amazing, especially considering it was fast food. The customer service was great (a gentleman named Lucky assisted us. Very nice guy!) My partner and I went and bought two large round multi-dish plates, mutiple desserts from the counter and a raw vegan (yes, raw vegan Indian food!) chickpea salad and it all only cost under $20 bucks. We're definitely going back there again. If you're vegetarian or vegan this is the best place in town to get cheap Indian food. Majority of their menu is under $6.00, and it's all meat free!

Agile Tek

Hands down amazing . . The food is just awesome . Chats are wonderful and served in good quantity . . Parathas are the speciality . . Made right in front of you . . Fresh and hot . .

Vidyaprasad Desai

Do not go for thali!!! Sanos are great though!!!

Rachel Morton

Great food, excellent selection of groceries. Super affordable!

Lalit Narayan Mishra

Filthy and horrible. This place is horribly maintained. They least care for the inventory they store. I found some bugs flying below the onion stack. Bought a Lizzat Pappad pack. Found some live bugs flying in that. Seriously? Live bugs flying in a Pappad Pack and still they sell it to their customers?

Prashant Agarwal

Great location. Fresh vegetables as well as all Indian spices and snacks. Also has a restaurant inside serving delicious dishes such as pani puri paraths and other snack dishes.

Sumeer Kumar

Love it the food is best and once you eat here. You will look for same taste.

Vonda Tolbert

Find most flours, peas and beans for Low glycemic index diet.

SHIVALI DESAI

Roman Numbers

Google User

Find authentic spices and foods here. I love the henna hair dye

Anand Mahadevan

A good Indian store with helpful staff especially Lucky and Sandeep

Deepa Gajjar

Amazing food and great service.

Prateek Gupta

I used to like this place for it's simple and great food but when i compared the rates for grocery with other stores, they were higher on most of the items. I felt like I'm losing 10-15$ on a full month's grocery every time I shop there. Thus, I'll probably recommend to visit them only for food once in a while but not for grocery.

pooja agarwal

Super delicious home cooked food!! True to flavors and affordable price. Anyone around should definitely try it out.

Rajesh Pala

Indian dhabba in true American sense excellent food limited choices

Dharshini Dhanalakshmi

We usually go there to shop for Indian groceries and also grab something to eat most times. However recently we had a bad experience with the store. We bought a 20lb rice bag and billed it. When leaving the store, we accidentally missed the rice bag at the store and left home. When we realized it, we called back and asked them to see if they had it. First phone call someone asked us to call back after 20 min. Then again second phone call, they asked us to call again after 10 min. When we tried again, the store was closed. So we called again the next morning and they asked all details again - who was the cashier (as if I know her name ugghh), what date we purchased etc.. After giving them all details, even description of the cashier, they simply said nobody knows. We asked if they could ask that employee again or if we could stop by and they just cut the call. The rice bag was close to 25$. I don't usually stereotype but this is typical Indian behavior - simply denying something without even looking/asking around. It would have at least been better if they had spent sometime looking into it. I am never going to shop here again or even buy their food. Every week we used to buy all our groceries from here but now we're just going to go to other Indian stores or G-mart.

Sally Bitar

Can’t go wrong with some pani puri. My favorite spot in Greensboro to get some Indian food. Quality is great and as is the food. Definitely would recommend!

Brian Conlon

Too spicy for me, but if you like that sort of think knock your self out.

Najee A.

Racist, *doesn’t like black customers* man went out to follow me As if I took something from the store when there was nothing to take.

Hussein Khairy

You can do grocery shopping here, goat be meat, chicken and enjoy freshly cooked vegetarian food.

Sherry Khandia

They're not too bad

Champ Ion

Best samosa, pakora, and pani puri I've had! Great prices too! Wait time is about average and you can call ahead so no worries there. Dont get turned around because its directly connected to the grocery store. Give it a shot and you won't be disappointed.

Melanie Reardon

Do you ever wonder why vegetarians can be happy without meat? Order the thali-- so many different types of curry and so many flavors! The kitchen staff are so kind, the food is fantastic, and I never feel like I pay enough for what I get. They recently remodeled and it looks beautiful. This is one of my favorite spots in Greensboro.

jade chiu

My favorite restaurant in Greensboro! Their food is ALWAYS AMAZING, every single item is THE MOST DELICIOUS! My favorite right now is the Dahi Puri!!!! So yummy!

Violet Da Duck

Pao bhaji was too spicy. Mango lassi came in foam cup and was overpriced (you could get the same thing but a bottle of it for the same price). I would recommend coming here only for shopping.

Vinay Ghorpade

Awesome Indian food - best thing - NO AMERICANIZATION like adding cream!!

BB

They carry a lot of variety of groceries, vegetables snacks, kitchen utensils etc. Pretty much arranged well. Staff is nice. They do have a chicken/meat stall with the store. Decent prices. Chaat house within the store is quite nice to have some refreshments after a long shopping. Idols, pooja items are also available.
