Our experience was horrible! We ate at their restaurant, and the lady that was dealing with the food had a runny nose. She was sneezing and spitting into the trash can in front of us! She also handled the food and food trays without washing her hands! The worst part was that the customers heard her spitting! Their food did not look fresh or appetizing; I don't know why people eat there. The customers are also able to see their filthy and dirty kitchen. That is our first and last time to eat here.

The store has some good selection of fresh fish but the prices are a bit on the high side. Unless you are Asian and want to get all kind of food you are used to eat, it will best to go somewhere else where you can get things cheaper.

Food made there tastes great. They serve hot tea on the cold days which is nice. The beef brisket/ stew with noodles is very good. Awesome assortment of groceries, drinks and kitchenware. Also have many Asian skincare brands, including hada labo.

I shop here for the seafood in which there is an excellent selection and affordably priced. The produce is sometimes good and sometimes not so good. I would stick to the popular asian greens such as Kai-lan and bok choy which are usually excellent. The restaurant is also very good, but sometimes a little heavy on the oils. Again, being able to get squid for lunch at a cheap price is a quite treat.

Great place, huge selection, and low prices! The only place locally with a larger selection is the Grand Asia Market in the Cary / Crossroads area. These guys do have fresh seafood, live fish, crabs, lobsters, etc.. They will catch and clean them on the spot if you want. There is a huge selection of rice brands and bag sizes including 25# and 50# bags. They have an impressive selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, as well as all the foods, sauces, spices you could ask for (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Phillipine, Korean, etc.). Not much in the way of Indian / Packistan spices, but I wasn't expecting them anyway. They also have a restaurant for hot meals too. Overall a full featured Asian / Oriental Store

Got overcharged by $175. The cashier doubled my bill when I gave her my card to run. Supposedly she fixed it. Still waiting for the money to get back in my account. Giving it until Monday and then I'm going to cancel all charges there.

This is one of the biggest Asian food markets I've seen in this area. I like the layout of the store. They have all kinds of exotic fruits and plants (including dragon fruit, cocktail grapefruit), fresh seafood, bulk rice, plenty of Asian spices, sauces, and international candy/snacks/drinks. It even has an Asian hardware/utensils section. They have a good deal on some popular brands of condiments too (like Walkerswood Jamaican jerk hot sauce). Service was nice and quick. I would definitely go back there again. I only bought one of those microwavable Asian spicy noodle bowls, but I'll be back to order more (they sell them in bulk). And I'd like to try the yellow Sriracha sauce.

I waited until they opened! And when I was ready to make my order i was waiting for like 15 minutes no one said anything until i got tired of waiting and if no anyone is going take my order and they answer yes after this order it was a big order and I was ordering 2 tilapias only instead of getting me out of the way !!!! I was supposed to wait another 15-20 minutes unacceptable!!!!!

Good store for all sorts of Asian especially Chinese cooking ingredients. Vegetables seems to be fresher after them upgrade to freezers. All the way in the far back of the store you can find interesting cooking accessories and ceramic silverware. A lot of people come to eat the lunch box both at lunch and dinner time, and it's the same $6ish after tax. You pick three sides and it come with white rice, free tree leave tea is always available. Overall, if a good place. I would give it a five star rating if I see further improvements on cleaning and interior air quality.

Anytime I want to buy things that my local grocery store don't have( like goat). I come here. The store is clean. The only thing is.. I didn't have anyone to help me find the curry. I asked the man working there.. but I don't think he understood me. Other then that.. I am a satisfied customer.

Hidden gem! Cheap/fresh produce and other Asian cuisine items. I even bought a huge wok for $10! Just as large and comparable to other Asian markets in the triangle that are out of the way for me.

Full disclosure: Unless you're familiar with Asian markets, you're going to see some unfamiliar foods. There will be a language barrier with the products, so I encourage you to either research before going or go with the idea of learning as you go! For me, it's a great place for cheap produce and Asian treats you won't find at a regular grocery store. The hot food sold at the little restaurant is really tasty and surprisingly affordable!

Honest and unpretentious. Their aquariums aren't the most attractive and don't be surprised to see boxes (for restock) in the middle of the isles. But that's what I love about this place, they don't hide anything. I've had more luck finding ingredients I need here compared to other Asian stores. I would also argue that the prices are lower here.

We buy fresh tilapia. They cut it and clean it right in front of you. Large variety of seafood. Don't forget to stop by the sweet snacks aisle! The only downside is the overwhelming smell as soon as you walk in.

I found many varieties of seafood that is sold at 40 to 50 % lesser than other nearby stores. I wouldn't mind traveling few extra miles to get great freshness with lower price!!

Older cashier woman was talking about me to the younger cashier. She kept giving me the evil eye, and neither said anything (no "thank you" or "come again") after the transaction was complete. Usually they have a ok customer service, but not on that day (this happened about a month ago). That is okay, I'll be going to H-Mart from now on.

This would be my wife and I's favorite grocery store. We visit there about 2 to 3 times a week and are always able to find what we're looking for. Also, when we're feeling lazy, there's a nice little restaurant at the front that has a variety of Asian dishes (not something you'd find at your typical chinese-american restaurant). I like to the ability to sample different foods every time we go and being able to pick a few staples that are there every time. There is also a good selection of smoothies, and can't forget the Thai Tea.

The cashiers did charge vegetable And fruits with highest unit price of some other wrong items since these products have no bar code to scan but weight manually. I found few times that some items were charged 4 times more for more expensive wrong products.

I seldomly buy any meat from this shop. Because I had very bad experience when we bought pork here before, three experiences: 1. I bought some pork belly which was very hard to boil, although I kept boiling it for about 1 hour. The most crazy thing is that it smells bad when we ate it, so I had to throw all of the meat away. I wasted my $10. 2. Although frightened, I still thought it was a rare case. I still tried to trust this shop, so I went to buy some pork belly again in this shop on February 25, 2013, but the ridiculous thing is that the packing date on top of the package is February 27, 2013. From then on I understood that they try to cheat on the packing date so that they can still sell their meat even if it has gone bad. THEY ARE ONLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR PROFIT BUT NOT FOR PEOPLE'S HEALTH. 3. Just a few days ago, I bought some unpacked ground pork, I thought it would be ok because the meat is not packed and must be fresh. Before I bought it, I asked three times the Mexican guy(the sales person) if the meat was fresh, he insisted saying that the meat was fresh. My husband and I steamed some meat balls with their ground pork but had to throw them away due to the bad smell again. Someone should know the nasty smell of the spoiled pork.

I love this place! There is such a wide variety of foods, and things I've never heard of but that sound intriguing. The produce is excellent, always very fresh and the prices are so much better than even Wal-Mart's. Red, yellow and orange bell peppers are a favorite. At Wal-Mart, they are $1.67 EACH, here, they are $1.89 A POUND! Just can't beat that for great pricing. They have wonderful fresh seafood and live fish they will clean for you. The fresh meats butcher section is also great. I shop here a lot and will keep returning.

F Good pricing on fresh veggies. Fruits are mostly seasonal. They have live fish, crab, lobster, and bivalves, and sell a lot of them so they are probably OK. Lots and lots of frozen foods. Duck eggs.!! They also have wide variety of cooking and food prep supplies. Small eat-in /take out hot bar. Cleanliness has improved but they could use a little more attention to detail in this area.

We have been loyal customers for over 5 years. We make an hour drive once a month; however, we will not be going back because of the workers. The cashiers are extremely rude. They converse amongst themselves and hardly acknowledge our presence. They scan our items and throw them into boxes, expecting us to close the boxes which is hard to do since they overfill them. Not only do they expect us to pack our groceries, but they also expect us to load them onto our cart ourselves. And when we asked them to help us with the boxes, they pretend to not to know what we are talking about. Even the manager expected us to bag our own items. They have only recently began to do this the last few times we have gone, but in the past they would kindly greet us and happily pack and load our groceries every time.
