This market is so cool! Anything Asian, they have it! Fun to just check out everything.

Best Asian market I've been to in New Mexico. Clean, well-organized, huge inventory of imported products, good attention to "sell by" dates, friendly employees, reasonable prices.

If you want experiment different foods for home cooking. This is place get recipes.

Leslie Bush

They don't carry italian tomatoes anymore and practically nothing else in their italian section. Big waste of time. Worst neighborhood in Albuquerque.

Anthony Bolagh

Leonard La Paz

Could be mire organized but a lot of cool stuff

Jezekiah

I have always had positive experiences everytime I have gone. Great selection and prices are moderate. The only thing is the crab and lobster tanks are not always stocked. Could possibly just be the time I go.

Shaunna Grace

They have a little bit of everything, but they by far have the best, and most vast selection of teas that I have ever seen.

Kristin Andraka

I love the variety and prices here! Some of my favorite snacks, drinks, and international fare here. Havent tried the raw fish yet, but it looks quality. Really cute knick knacks and diningware too.

Erin Wood

They have the best variety of Asian food and sea food. They have a hodgepodge of curios and snacks.

Ruth Lopez

Its an amazing international food market even the customers are helpful!!! The store is a little unorganized but you can still easily find what you need!!

Nichole Maher

Amazing variety and great prices on lots of items. One of the few places I can buy whole squid.

I'll have to pick up a book on oriental cooking. There are so many food choices and ingredients here.

Noah Chacon

Has a great variety of foreign imports from different countries. Lot's of fresh groceries as well, and nearby a Vietnamese and sushi place as well.

Mmiller2001

Over priced and limited items. I couldn't be more disappointed with an "Asian Market". Also, the worst organization of any market I've ever visited.

rachael landau

A place to find all sorts of ingredients from across the globe Fresh produce includes herbs like Thai basil and fresh mint; Asian greens, assorted plantains, eggplants, tamarind pods, and many assorted mushrooms. All kinds of international dry goods, herbs, beans, rices, and many frozen items. Tofu. Heaps of noodles fresh and dry. Fish. Helpful staff.

Bonnie McMurray

This place had a very bad smell. I think it was rotten fish. About 1 time out of 3 that I've been it's been like that. Too bad because Albuquerque really needs places like this, especially in the International District.

Will W

You can find almost anything you could want to satisfy your Asian food cravings for dinner, breakfast, or lunch.

Ced Rael

Considering they carry ingredients and supplies from many other countries, this place is great. The staff are pretty good at customer service. The shelves stay decently stocked and produce comes in on a regular basis. We always find something new and unique to try. Take your time going through each country section or you will miss out.

Dennis Trivett

Amazing multi cultural selections, i dont think there's anywhere else like it in the area, highly recommended, Added it will seem less clean to what you're typically use to

Andrew N

My go to market for all my Thai & exotic ingredients. I should've payed closer attention to my mothers language to converse with whom she refers to as granma, I bet her recipes are outta of this world ~ never better than my Mom's but a another shade of home Thai cooking. She's been there since I was young but always a furtive hello. ขอบคุณ

Dr.Nestor Sosa

Huge variety of ingredients and groceries from everywhere. Amazing.

s sanchez

They have a diverse assortment of delicious food. You can find almost anything there.. indian, chinese.. you name it..

Salem

I love it. It's one of the most interesting markets I've gone into. You can find many snacks, seasoning and foods not commonly found in stores like Walmart and such. Plus the cafe there is really good and the restaurant out front is great as well.

Robert B

A lot of variety and creative food options.

Elise Headley

Lots of great items. My favorites were Bananas beyond the typical Williams Bananas available at other grocery stores and a variety of seaweed and nori. Just one star short for poor organization and it seemed a little dusty.

Gary Dodd

If your a noodle soup junkie like me there is nothing better than Talin. Make sure to pick up some soup base and ginger oil to add to any soup for flavor.

Kahome Dss

One of the Asian grocery store that consist different products from around d the world. It's not a big store but it is diverse. I like that they have most of the Asian products. Veggies probably needs more love but overall I like this place. Traffic can be a pain if you pick the wrong time.

Aaron Hudson

Great place to find international ingredients, the aisles are broken down by city. Would give it 5 stars, but keeping all the shelves stocked seems a little difficult for this place. But its still the best place to find amazing stuff!

Johanna Bair

I could spend many hours (and dollats) here. They carry the most interesting foods from all over the world.

Susan Stearns

Wonderful even fun place to visit. Yummies from around the world.... Just about any place you could want. Fresh, quality, and a good assortment of fish, which is hard to find in New Mexico. A little cafe inside with some outstanding goodies! My favorite part of going to Talin Market is the wide range of gifts they have. Lot's of cool Hello Kitty things, fun interesting books, Knick knacks, kitchen Ware and more! You won't be. Disappointed no matter what you go for there! Have fun!

David Garcia

Their out of stock on many items and it takes shoppers to order unstocked items. They can do a better job at inventory.

Craig Atkinson

Many foods from all over the world... And great fresh fish!!

Amy Gonzales

Love, love, love this market! Visually, selection, pricing...it is an experience! A great one.

Janis Colonell

Beautiful, and exciting store. Walk inside and visit a small world. Fresh veggies and fish counter. A wine department. A Small area restaurant. An area with kitchen ware. Pleanty of parking. I go there once a week. The store is always being stocked.

Taegyeong Lee

Here is a great place overall. My husband and I love this place, so we go to Talin market pretty much every weekend. On the other hand, I am not sure about their customer service. Though most of the staff were helpful and friendly, I had an episode with a lady at the customer service desk. We bought a frozen bag of Korean fish cutlets a month ago. When we bought it, I had noticed that it would be expired in a month and that was not a problem for us. After 2 weeks after we bought it, I wanted to try it, but when I opened it, four pieces amongst eight pieces got stuck together, it was almost inseparable. I tried to thaw it, but it didn't work. So I separated them with a knife. The inner side of each piece that was cut looked really bad. It was almost dark brown color, though the bag was advertised for the cutlets to be made of white fish. Above all, the smell was awful, almost inedible. It smelled like dried anchovies. We wanted to get a customer service about this, but we had dumped our receipt. But we decided to complain because it is partially Talin Market's fault that was selling a food product that is defective to begin with. The bag was about 8 dollars when we bought it, the qualify of which was lacked and even with a possibility that could have made us sick. When we claimed about what happened to the lady at the customer service desk, she did not offer any follow-ups about our circumstances - although it was reasonable that she wouldn't provide a refund or exchange since we didn't have a receipt - but she said that Talin market is not Walmart-like, that when only we have a receipt, she would do something about it, and that we should have at least called them about what happened with a week or something like that (felt blamed). I was not seeking for any refund or exchange for the defective food product on sale that we bought at the Talin in particular (though that could have been good). I wish she could have noticed that it is their responsibility to sell products of at least non-defective food products that could have made us sick. To my perception, I felt she wanted to avoid it by just saying that we need a receipt anyway to get a customer service about their defected foods and I was not very happy about it.

Stacy Neuman

Love this place, such a good selection and many choices from many countries

Carlos Martinez

Whoa this place is so awesome. The store is organized into aisles labeled by different countries of the World. Mostly Asian countries. There are lots of unique an specialty items that you can find here. If you enjoy cooking asian food, this is the place you will find all of the ingredients you need. They also have cook ware here, and a lot of little trinkets and things that you would find overseas. It's a great place to stop when you come through Abq. During the week, they have food trucks outside.

Dwight Stephenson

This is my second time to this location and I have to say that they have proved a lot since my first visit. The store is organized by city so if younwant Vietnamese food you go to Saigon etc. They have a good selection of vegetables. We were making Vietnamese spring rolls and we're able to find the rare herbs. My only complaint here is that the portion sizes on some of the herbs were ridiculous. We had to buy a GIANT bag of garlic chives when we only really wanted about 1/4 of what was in the bag. My only other complaint is the meat section was very limited. They had lots of seafood options but very little pork, chicken or beef. We were just looking for a small cut of port but all they had was pork bones and sliced beef for Pho.

Liz Mounger

Always enjoy visiting Talin. It's like a hidden gem if you are food adventurous and like to try new things. They also have fun merch quirky and interesting.

Abdel-Hameed Badawy

One of the nicest Asian groceries stores in ABQ. They even have a "fresh" fish stand. Not sure how fresh is their fish but it seems a bit pricey.

Pono Kanaka

Only place in Albuquerque that I can find hawaiian food. Prices are pretty expensive but its worth it when you want some comfort food from back home in Hawaii. I always get laulau, kalua pig, poi, and portuguese sausage. Oh yea get aloha shoyu too. Winnahz

Jessica Greer

Its dark and not much customer service but you can find some International foods that you wouldn't be able to get anywhere else. I jist wish they had better produce. Ive been looking for a Pomelo for weeks!

Marcee Sarracino

Extensive selection of unusual foods used by many cultures. Lemon grass!!! Jackfruit, ripe instead of green persimmons, endless mushrooms, and a variety of other fruits and vegetables as well as fresh fish. Usually in December there are imported cookies, jellies, sweet cakes, etc. for the holidays.

Charm dlr

I got my dragonfly chili sauce here do happy ☺️. I was suppose to buy pampano but it wasnt fresh ☹️

Tim Erickson

This place has a great variety of awesome items, but always seems to have a rancid smell in the air.

Windell Gilliam

Great selection of foods from around the world. Friendly helpful staff and fast check out.

Cameron Sanchez

Different choice of food... pretty good.

Kelly Sue

This is an amazing market!!! So many different foods and had exactly what I came there for!! Really fun !!!£

Joffre Swait

An amazing and diverse collection creatively arranged. Very knowledgeable staff, intimately aware of their products and organization. I'm glad I discovered this place early in my time in Albuquerque.

Guillermo Quijano

It must be the Chinese culture that I don't understand, but to me they are rude and short. No one says hi, they don't help - also super expensive. But where else can I get plantains? No where!

Heather Sanders

I don't know why it took me so long to make it over here, but wow, have I been missing out! I love World Market for the eclectic choices of world foods and treats, but Talin is really where you need to go. It almost feels like stepping into another country. The smells, transport you to each country, and you can get lost in their aisles and aisles of food selections. I really like that they separate the areas by regions, which does help when you are looking for something specific. They have a pretty neat produce section, and their seafood market is so awesome. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because it can be very disorganized, and it looks like they get trucks everyday and there are pallets every where so it makes it feel very congested. Other than that, it is simply amazing! I'm so glad we have a place to go with such culture!

PandaLife

The whole place is amazing I just feel bad for the lobsters and crabs I get it there only there for food but there environment could at least be decent if your raising them to die

Nick Ruedig

Wonderfully varied selection of imported foods from a huge variety of different cuisines across the world. Also cheap coconuts and excellent hand brooms!

Angela Spanbauer

I feel like I was born in the wrong place. I should live in the tropics! This is where I get most of my tropical food. Not terribly expensive, good quality.

Raymond Burchell

This place has all the spices you need and ones that you thought you didn't need. Great pricing on the spices. Easy on and out

Rachel Ortiz

Everything seemed really reasonably priced, and the food was easy to find. They had a really great selection of food that we aren't able to find anywhere else near us. Exotic fruits that we like, unusual desserts, noodles, flours, etc. I wish I didn't live so far away from it.

Cynthia Lyman

Each aisle represents a different country; l've never seen an Asian super market laid out so well and kept so beautifully. Customer service is on hand to help if you don't easily find the exotic cuisine you're loolkng for.

Mark S

I loved this place, especially how it is laid out by country. Very organized, very clean. There is a front desk when you walk in, go there for the restroom key. Restrooms are super clean. They have everything from all the different noodles, rice, sushi rice, import treats, candy, baked goods, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, fish, meat, chips, seaweed snacks, incense, novelty items .. just about any and everything I can think of. It's awesome there check out

Matias Madrid

Talin is great and has cheap bamboo. The incense are well priced and are of great quality. There are a lot of exotic things that you couldn't find elsewhere. It's mostly groceries but again things you couldn't find elsewhere -- certainly not for a better price. The staff is also always very helpful.

Adrian Rivera-Carlos

I love shopping here! Excellent selection of instant noodles and I love how I just need to decide what nation I'd like to inspire my cooking and then hunt the respective aisle foe ingredients. Seafood selection could be vastly improved.

Robert Kelley

The Talin Market is always a fun place! They have so many unique and different products and choices than the traditional American supermarket. Find new candies, recipes, products, toys, and utensils of different cultures and places of the world. They have sodas where you have to "pop" a glass marble to drink, jelly straw candy, fresh fish, so many kinds of instant noodles, and much more.

Elissa Wright

Almost all food Asian. They use to have much better variety. Prices are too high

Toad Stool

Limited Chinese vegetables, but still the best place in town!

Rebecca Wong

Ummm could be cleaner and neat. Watch for expired food and make careful choices. Variety is decent and I got most things I need for Asian cooking.

Andrea Campos

Staff not very friendly. Expensive. But can find unique foods of the world.

Natalie Ly

Great selection, and I can usually find what I need. I wish they kept the noodle section more organized and maybe had a better layout in the produce area.

Karen Trujillo

The Isles are very easy and convenient to read of which types of food you want to cook. Love the seafood options. And the Frozen foods I quite interesting. Employees are always friendly and very informative of their store. Just ask.

William Larkin

Love talin Market that's where I buy my specialty items they have the best Wasabi mayonnaise in the world and all kinds of things from all over the world love that store will definitely go there again and again

Taro Go

Varied items from Asia; can fulfill your cravings for spices and flavors.

Gail

Great market place to find international food for diverse recipes. Fun place! Check out their fresh live seafood and fresh fish. I always come here when visiting NM. Kind helpful employees. Definitely recommend.

Robert Olufs

The 4 hills shopping center had a Sprouts, dollar store, and a cinema theatre with, if memory serves, 6 theatres. What is not to love here Smith's is across the street if you prefer shopping there. Great little community worth plenty out residential space including RV parking, mobile homes, and apartments. Within a mike is also custom homes and great family parks and schools.

Alona Malone

Best dumplings! And wonderful selection of various foods from across the world :)

Nicole Daniel

I like this store but check expiration dates of your foods. I bought a 15 lb bag of Jasmine rice and when I got home realized it's 5 months past its use by date. I also bought expired rice cakes.

Carol Fox

Not what I expected; very different and quite interesting.

Pat G

It's a cool place, its has changed over time and not for the best.

Daniel Burnham

This is where I go for stuff to make stuff when I'm not ordering stuff . To replicate my finding s from Asian restaurant s.always find what you need,to make soups, stocks sauces, you name it. Hard to find stuff too! You can make things that are on no menu in town, that's how broad this place is,. Old note, the old talin was a real trip to behold,it had smells from other lands,..you missed it.

Emma Bee

I absolutely love this place. GreT selection of international food

Jenny Yurechko

Love this place, yes...however last time I went, I bought lemongrass and there was a cockroach in it. Very sad. I will go back, but most likely will not buy produce.

Shar Thomas

Park in the dirt on the side of the place and you'll be good if you don't want door dings. Hookers and homeless people everywhere so go in the morning. I go strictly go for Japanese stuff but usually they are out of stock. When they have stuff in stock they are good. Cashier's are hit or miss as far as being friendly goes. Prices are kinda high but it's Albuquerque, everything is overpriced here(especially cars haha, quick tip, buy out of state!).

John Wilkes

Cool market but the seafood might be even more expensive than Whole Foods

David Beres

Always a pleasure to visit. They have a great choice of foods from around the world. Some I have eaten on my travels.

charles padilla

My favorite place to find new foods for my fridge. I love that each isle is delineated by country, so you know where the product is coming from. I find stuff here that even the "International" isles at Smith's or Albertson's don't carry. Give it a visit if you're into trying new, unique, and worldwide cuisines!

Marvin Vigil

The Manager of Talin Market, Wouldn't Let Me and My Little Chihuahua In Store!! Also when you walk into the store, there is a awful smell...

Sarah Haynes

Fun place to shop and usually great selection of worldly goods, but produce section needs some sprucing up. It's often out of items and can get fruit cheaper elsewhere. Vegetables are usually in good shape. It's hard to get help there and cashiers usually look miserable.

Lee Lucero

Love the Aloe vera juice drink. Now they have it in yogurt drink. Mmmm. Lots of beautiful things to see.

Vito Monteleon

Amazing array of (mostly) pan-Asian food and kitchen products, including hard-to-find fresh produce and small appliances.

s 7345565

I really enjoy this market. The prices are very good on most items and I have never seen expired products. Excellent dry and bottled tea selection. Would be 5 stars if a tiny bit more organized!

Tristan Marino

Has the most comprehensive range of foreign candies and treats, as well as sodas from all over the place out of any market in the city! Also has foods from many many different countries. Including but not limited to India, China, Japan, Korea, The Phillipines, and lots of others! Would definitely recommend!

Rosiebelle Lopez

I like it is a good place to go and shopping a variety of groceries from many different countries.

Brenda Bodnar

Very disappointing market. Hit or miss with fresh produce too.

Allie M

The variety is incredible. The prices are great!

song robert

Talin was recommended by a friend and you can find some authentic Asian stuff there. But the shopping experience was ruined by a cashier, who looks like a female Chinese with glasses. She was very rude to me and came out from her post to check my ID for some beer. But I am Definitely not 18. I AM 40. I forgot to carry ID so I had to drop the beer. Some friends told me that woman didn’t like me and that is why she did that. Is she discriminating? Or that is the attitude of Talin to customers?

Shelly Gutierrez

IT LITERALLY STINKS IN THIS STORE LIKE THERES SOMETHING DEAD AND THE BACK OF THE STORE WHERE THEY THROW THE TRASH OMG IT SMELLS LIKE DEATH THAT'S NOT RIGHT AT ALL. BEEN IN HERE ONCE & WILL NOT GO BACK LITERALLY THUS PLACE NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO.

Melyssa Holik

I love this store! Whether you need a hard to find ingredient or just want to wander the aisles, you never know what you'll find here but it's always good! Or at least interesting. Oh and their dumplings alone are worth the trip.

pinky james

Great place to grab anything Asian. Kids live trying new items here as well.

Betty Garcia

They have such a large variety of foods from all over the world. I was so excited that I found Jamon from Spain. I bought every packet they had, it was also at a great price. I enjoy looking around to see what I can find. We went to see the Dragon dance for Chinese New Year. Our grandkids had a great time. It was wonderful. I recommend this store to everyone.

alan cofran

Dont always have what im looking for but alot of what i am looking for is from otger countries so you make due when you can

David Martinez

Ta Lin has it all- almost. I looked for Prince of Peace Honey-Loquat candy in the pink tin and didn't find it. They stock food in their very clean store and those hard-to-find oriental kitchen tools.

Deborah McNeely

It is a great place to find ingredients! Foods from all over the world in labeled rows help you find things quickly. From something you have never tried to that great dish you sampled on vacation, Talin has you covered.

S Aragon

Excellent place for your Asian itch!! I got food from Japan and China and it was all authentic and from those places. They have a huge selection and fresh fish some fresh crab and lobster as well. Will be back for sure.

Exxeter Organization

The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star revue, is that they try to put more in the store than it can optimally hold. There were some aisles that I couldn't get my shopping cart through. But aside from that annoyance, their prices and selection are superb.

Multiple Migs

Located in Albuquerque's International District right across from the Expo New Mexico Fairgrounds and the The Downs racetrack and casino, The Talin World Food Fare is the most diverse selection of food in the city and no other store I have been to can compare to the selection of international foods you can acquire in one location. From New Orleans to New Delhi the selection of fresh, frozen, and dry goods is amazing. This is my go to for ramen of all kinds. The Samyang Korean Spicy noodles will drive you up the wall! Hichew Japanese candy is amazing and with the location so accessible, I cant help but go every week for more! If you are in market for a new taste or tastes they have experienced this is the spot!

Elizabeth McDearmid

They have everything you could possibly ever need for cooking dishes from around the world. Dumpling Pop-Up inside store on Fridays and Saturdays - delish!! (Pop-up closed for 4th of July weekend). Enjoy!!

Cynthia Kelly

Great variety of products from around the world. Almost overwhelming. Not much staff and those present seemed harried and not particularly eager to help. There were unusual vegetables that were fresh and reasonably priced. Good parking.

California Pastrami

My wife and I enjoy going there to try many foods from around the world. The only complaint is the it is very cold in there, so make sure that you dress for dub 60 degrees or lower temperatures. other than that it is a fun place to check out all that they offer.
