Immidiatly it feels inviting, it's nice and open, clean. They have a salad bar with good amount of options, they even sell sushi and the rainbow roll was real fresh.. the lady at the deli was so nice and helpful, I she said they call her Lila or close to that, she did the extra mile for effort and customer service. The wine selection was huge, and also very nice. Their fish section was great, huge shrimp and beautiful tuna, were the right color you want. Photolab is a convenience, the cashier was friendly and make sure we found all our items and they even bag ur items for you! I wish there was more of em. See you Albertsons soon!

Albertsons on Hgy 48 in Ruidoso has just about what ever you need in a supermarket and more. The produce looked fresh it has a super bakery area it' looks so good you will have trouble making your mind up. The people working there are very friendly and very helpfily I'm sure on weekends it may take a little longer to check out but I was there on thurs was out of there in no time.None of us like food shopping but it is necessary. Good shopping.

Great products w/good variety considering the size of the store. Floor plan could use some expansion especially in the frozen foods section. Great place to get Board's Head meats and cheeses. They even house a pharmacy, a bakery and they prepare fresh sushi daily. Very tasty soups at their full salad bar. Will go back again to enjoy the many personalities of the friendly staff.

Albertsons has a large selection of produce, both organic and non-organic. They also have a good selection of wines and beers. They have a hot food section with quite a variety of foods. I had buffalo wings. I also bought California rolls, which I have not found in any of the other stores in town. Albertsons has the best selection of meats and seafood, and I got a fantastic deal on boneless pork ribs when I was there last. Albertsons offers a large selection of bulk candy and other treats. The dessert counter not only has cakes and pies, they also had creme brulee and tiramisu when I was there. I brought home one of each, and they were absolutely delicious. There were also a few other dessert that aren't sold in any of the other stores, but I don't remember what they were. Albertsons also seems to be the only store that carries matzo ball mix, and other food items that are not available in other stores. There is a pharmacy in this store, but I go to another that's closer to my home. I do go to Albertsons every time I'm in town, as they have items that are not carried in other stores. I would make a special trip here just for the desserts.

very bad service! walked up to a gentlemen and asked where was the bread selection and he said i dont know. i asked him do you work here he said yes but i dont work produce ? when we went up to the cashiers he was there and turned off his light and said he was closed. but reopened and took another lady when i went to another register.

It does not compare to the Albertson's that use to be in Amarillo. Very small I was disappointed in fruit and vegetables it was just sad to see them. Now they're meat market that's a different story. Always fresh meat in the meat department I was really impressed

Our favorite food market in Lincoln County. Excellent meats, decent seafood & produce is usually good. Signature (house) brand is surprisingly good. Generally more expensive than Wally World, but quality is better. Recommend purchasing napkins, plastic wrap & such at Wally's or Dollar General.

Bakery has really gone down hill. I bought a cake that had strawberries and glaze on top and then had to return it 30 minutes later because I found out that the strawberries were moldy after I cut into it. That was a month ago. Now I bought a cake that said it was chocolate and when I cut into it, totally vanilla. What the Heck? My family hates vanilla cake so it was a complete disappointment! I wish Management would raise the expectations of this department because so many people rely on Bakery.

Once again, super visit. This time of year, Ruidoso doubles its population, and the store continues to meet my expectations. Restocking takes up some space, but I'd estimate they restock several parts of the store more than twice. It rarely affects my ability to reach what I'm shopping for, and staff is quick to accommodate customers to minimize disruptions where restocking is needed. The meat section and its butcher stands out in this regard, especially on Wednesdays. The cashiers are really quite good and friendly. It's my store of choice for grocery shopping.

The produce department in this store is ridiculously small. The employees in that department are always in the way, making it next to impossible to shop for vegetables, and are always loudly bickering with one another. I know they are the only grocery in this area, but come on! Why make shopping this hard?

The clerks and cashiers at this store are very unfriendly. Shopped here twice in the past 10 days and both times it was the same poor experience. Twice I asked a clerk where something was and both times the clerk just pointed. No hello from the cashiers, they didn't even say the total amount. When I asked to add on a bag of ice, I got a big sigh. Shame on the store manager. Management needs to train their staff or else hire nicer people!

I just got money out of the ATM machine, and they charge $2.95 fee???? if I didn't actually really need the money I would never pay that fee!!!!! it's rare that I ever actually buy anything in this store???? Albertson's has the best meat, poultry and seafood counter around. There is also a plethora of hot and cold deli items to choose from, including California rolls and sushi, along with buffalo wings, potato wedges, and just about every kind of salad you could ask for. Their bakery counter not only has cakes and pies, but tiramisu, creme brulee, and several kinds of cheesecake, along with the usual cakes, cookies and cupcakes. There is a pretty good selection of pet foods, including pet bird food. They also have wild bird food, but you have to look to find it. There is a pretty extensive bulk candy section, and a good selection of wines (and beers, I think; I didn't look). They carry many different brands of packaged and canned foods, and they have a nice selection of greeting cards. There is a full-service pharmacy also. I like to buy my meat here; it is a bit expensive at times, but of excellent quality. They do have some great sales, though; I bought a huge package of boneless pork ribe for $.79/lb. last month.

Loved that they had a great selection of vegan friendly foods like Beyond Meat and dairy free milks. I was so happy because vegan options are not always easy to find in small towns. There were a lot of customers when we went but there were many checkout lanes open and so we didn’t have to wait long.

I noticed 4th of July gets so busy all the cashiers have lines of costumes all the way into the Isles. So plan ahead of time. I still love this grocery store. The employees are always nice and courteous. They still hemp costumers out even though they are busy stocking fast.

This place has gotten worse every day since IGA (Lawrence Brothers) left. The only improvement has been in the parking lot. The prices went up, the service went down. I was told today by a cashier "No" when I asked for change for a 5. I was instructed that management made them sign a paper acknowledging that they're no longer allowed to break change from their til and that I had to go wait in the customer service line to do that. BTW, from the dates of these other reviews, they were reviewing Lawrence Brothers (not Albertsons).

Layout is not thought out well. Over priced for the same things you can get elsewhere. Difficult to sign up for rewards card. The cashier doesn't just do it during your purchase, even with no line behind you. That being said, the deli is excellent and the store offers specialty items you can't find other places.

Great store! But we have asked several time and several people to have them stock Clays old fashioned candy, Horehound flavor like Alamogordo Albertson does. But sadly since a lady named Carol left the store, they haven't gotten any more! Most of the time we love going in there, but they had some really odd smells at the front and worse smells st the back. I am giving a 4* due to the smells today and the fact they do not care to get Horehound for us. This is sad because it is the best grocery in town.
