This Fruit Store is included in the category of Supermarket.
Pequeno mercado com uma boa variedade de produtos. Achei o preço justo, tendo em vista que não tem muitos mercados perto dele.
Great and Healthy Selection
Great store, but some things are too expensive.
Insanely overpriced and poor selections
It's expensive, but convenient. They have a decent selection of organic products, which saving grace. If you don't like crowds, avoid this place during the lunch rush.
Great place for organic and healthy food but very expensive.
This place is just OK. It could be so much better if the quality of fresh produce was improved.
Convenient if you stay in the location, Expensive
Great place for lunch
Love the buffet food here! Soon good. It's not easy finding great buffets in this area of new Jersey, Kudos guys on job well done
Small selection but usually has everything I need. Convenient store for last minute items.
Good place to find organic fruits and vegetables though it’s pricey. It gets crowed during lunch time around 12pm but I like the variety of ingredients to make your own salad.
This little market can be a lifesaver when you’re in need of a quick bite or just ran out of something and don’t have the time to run to a bigger grocery store. They have just about everything you need including items like shampoo, detergents, etc. They also have a deli section and cafe bar with desserts. I frequented this place several times during my stay in Jersey City to grab their egg salad, crab salad, or whatever else they’ve made fresh that day and prepackaged. The store is small though so I did find that selection can be limited, and some items are priced a bit steeper than a regular store. I also tried using their hot food deli section where you can fill your own container and then pay by the pound. However, the labels for food were not always there so it was hard for me to figure out what’s what for some items. Staff can be hit or miss. I had some friendly encounters and a couple that were not so much.
The store is OK. Expensive and over priced but still OK. But Bakery sometime keeps old cakes. Last weekend bought 1 slice of Tiramisu and a slice of Red Velvet cake. After bringing it home I found the red velvet was stale and old and dry.
Very high quality grocery store.
While a little pricey, this place is a great local place to get groceries, hot food, prepared sushi and cakes.
The only positive is that some of the staff are polite and professional, which cannot be said of some of the other staff (more to that below). Prices are too high. I am not talking about prices for organic items. Let us say they are what they are as I do not have a direct comparison. I am talking about items that you get elsewhere, too, such as a standard 2 liter bottle of coke (2.79 as of 10/17/2014), toast, ... . To give you an example, a loaf of toast of a certain brand and type can be had for literally half the price at BJ's (the exact same item). What irks me the most is the selective politeness of some of the staff and in some cases even attitude that they display. It happened to me on multiple occasions that the cashier greeted the customer in front me politely with 'Hi sir, how are you, ...'. When it was my turn there was no such politeness, yet for the customer after me the politeness switch was turned on again. There were even occasions where I said 'Thank you' with no response or where cashiers were talking to me without looking at me, which again, in my book is highly impolite. Some of the staff is polite and pleasant, which earns the store 2 stars. Luckily, competition is coming next door as well as on the next block. At that point I will switch.
Love this supermarket for its stocks. All types of fruits ,vegetables, dairy & Bakery items , meats and packaged products under one roof.
Fantastic food!
Clean n great service
Quick place to grab breakfast - unfortunately they make up there own prices and refuse to follow their own pricing chart. Won't correct even when pointed out to them.
Good place with good service
Fresh salad!
Convenient!! A little expensive but has a good variety
Good place.. Neatly arranged
Salads are good. Everything is fresh.
The staff is super friendly. The food is delicious. No complaints at all.
I go here quite a bit for lunch - their deli counter is great. Awesome sandwiches, friendly service.
Small but has a lot of stuff
Small, convenient grocery store with a good selection.
This place has fresh vegetables and fruits. I also like the quality of their products. However, it is pricier than other nearby markets. The staff are really friendly and helpful!
Friendly staff, solid service. Produce & Meats are always fresh and good quality. Though the prices are high, you can justify it by their quality and convenience. Again, I'm spoiled that I don't have to go for to get a missing ingredient. Take advantage of their members program it's a nice program to get some extra cash back on your purchases .
Great selection as well as prepared foods and a few essentials.
They have my favorite french yogurt I cannot find anywhere
I come here usually for some snacks and breakfast goods before work. It’s a spacious, large luxury supermarket with many goods that you can also find in Whole Foods. But, this is Jersey City, so they pretty much are the only place you can find stuff like this. The prices are pretty fair (I’ve seen similar on Amazon), and maybe are only a dollar or two more than competitors, some are cheaper. Great selection of all kinds of food for a variety of dietary needs. Fruits are fresh and good quality.
A great place to grab a sandwich, salad, or groceries.
Good selection
If you want to food shop or just have a quick lunch, this is a go to place.
Great market in Jersey city ! Plenty of lunch options and good sandwiches/soups!
small supermarket but good for tourists.
You can get most of the organic foods here!
Staff is very helpful
I go there for lunch and the food is great. It is also a solid place to purchase quality groceries. The staff appears professional every time. Anyone should check them out.
Great local supermarket
A bit expensive, but worse, very poor selection compared to their biggest competition (whole foods). Don't expect any sort of seafood from here outside of a few pre-packaged fish fillets. Decent for the basics you need to restock on, but with whole foods one stop away on PATH, I really can't justify shopping here. This will never be a one stop shopping destination if you have a long list of ingredients to pick up for a specific recipe.
Good place for grocery, salads and related products
Unbelievably expensive. Had to shop there out of necessity. Would never voluntarily shop there.
Lots of interesting and international options both to shop in the grocery section as well as for lunch. Eat in or take out, kimchi to seaweed salad or a hot buffet. Fantastic selection of yogurt beyond what you find in a chain grocery store. Plenty of healthy choices with special attention to dietary needs or just a desire to make an environmental choice without being a radical eatery.
Delicious hot food market, good salad bar.
Overpriced but it's the only store in the area to get the basics. Salad bar at lunch is good.
Nice place !!
Fresh produce, deli, cafe, bakery, freshly prepared food. Prices a bit steep.
Nice grocery store with bakery, fresh salads and sandwiches, good fruits and vegetables choice. It's possible to have a breakfast right incide. Pity the bread and chocolate is too expensive. Otherwise, you'll find all you need there.
Super expensive!! There are some specialty items but your spending 3 times the regular cost!! Beware
Good food. Good sanwiches and soup. Especially their Cuban sandwich. Love being able to customize sandwich. They offer frequent card. Also has supermarket.
They stick paper labels on every single leaf of greens. Then we eat them. Beware of getting poisoned by paper if you buy greens here
Good selection of groceries and hot food that's close to most apartments near Exchange Place. Convenient market with fair prices.
Fancy groceries A convenient location Wish they had warm tea
Here you can find fresh and quality stuff. The place was big enough. Th e price here was very reasonable as per other markets. The variety here was awesome. I often visited here and i am satisfied with their food and services.
Overall the place is a clean grocery store. The selection is limited though okay for day to day and prices are much higher. It's an okay option if you live in the area and need to pick up stuff on the way home after work. The reason I give it a lower rating is that they often have expired stuff and if you take it back to them, they are unapologetic about it. I have on several occasions gotten bad chicken, green vegetables and milk that was bad. When I took it back and asked for the manager they reacted as if there is nothing wrong with getting rotten grocery and refunded only if I had the receipt. No apologies. I have had friends who have shopped here and they have the same experience. I would say this place is good for grocery when you need something urgently and don't have time to go to a proper store.
Good made in place salads. Good produce, and lots of organic and vegan options. Very pricey though.
(Translated by Google) Combined supermarket and lunch place. A little more expensive than other places as they have some exclusive goods. (Original) Kombinert supermarked og lunsjsted.Noe dyrere enn andre steder da de har en del eksklusive varer.
I go here almost everyday. It has everything you may need. Prices are very pocket friendly!
A little on the expensive side but really good quality of produce found here. Lots of organic varieties and the only nearby supermarket between exchange place and grove street.
Could not live in our neighborhood (Paulus Hook) without everything that Hudson Greene offers. Fresh, Organic, Variety. I'm there about every other day. Staff is wonderful! Join their club too, because you'll rack up points fast and next thing you know, you've got $20 credit!
Good people for the most part. Although, doesn't seem to like to hire many white people. just a thought
Amazing cupcakes and a great selection of honey.
This grocery store is fine for a few essentials and has a pretty wide selection. Prices are premium but it's understandable. Friendly staff.
Food is good and fresh but overpriced
This market has a nice variety of items for people staying in the area, having really nice food, fresh fruits, personal hygiene and cleaning items, along with ready to take sushi and sandwiches. The price is a little bit high, but it is a really good option for those in the area that don't want to have to go to a big supermarket.
Decent food market. Not to big and doesn't carry most after market stuff. Good enough if you ran out of few ingredients for a recepie or a small shipping run in-between weekly grocery shopping. Wouldn't go there otherwise.
Very nice place to buy organic and healthy goods. Less crowded and good customer service.
Pricy.
Good selection of food, a bit high prices
Awesome neighborhood spot. Very convenient and high quality selection
A decent grocery shop with a deli inside. The grocery shop is overpriced for Jersey city, or even for NYC. Not sure how people put up with these prices. There are, however, many options for snaks and other food items. The deli makes decend sandwiches, but recently raised the prices and now even charge $1 for a pickle on a side.. The salad bar has all of 3 options so it never looks appealing enough to try it. I will give 1 star for amazing desert cakes that we've been getting at work for people's birthdays. Very tasty - the best cakes I know of in Jersey City.
It's a one stop store for everything
I absolutely love this place. The buffet is very good. Their products in general are very high quality organic and natural. The customer service/ cashiers always very nice and helpful. I had few returns- and they always acted very professionally. Highly recommend!
pricey but a very good selection and high Quality Meats
If you order online, you can avoid the huge lines during lunch time. Produce is fresh but more expensive than any other stores around. I spent $20 bucks on a bag of cherries the other day. The staff is friendly at the salad bar and at the front desk but the people at the dessert stand are not very friendly. If you’re selling sugary treats but look really mad, doesn’t always work out.
Good for picking up a few things quickly. Kinda pricey. Produce isn't always fresh.
They have a decent selection here of fresh, frozen, bakery, and packaged foods. They also have a counter for made-to-order salads, sandwiches, and a buffet setup if you come for lunch. It is a good choice for lunch, the food always looks good and the line usually moves quickly. Their soups are very well done as well. I can usually find something to eat here, or if I need one or two ingredients to cook I can snag them here, so why the 2 stars? The prices. I have never seen a place with higher prices than here - think $8 for cauliflower that you can buy for $3 anywhere else. They have a good amount of specialty and niche items that you perhaps couldn't find elsewhere, but the prices are just too steep for it to make sense to shop here regularly.
Higher price does not guarantee better quality, I come here occasionally, but I have got fruits and vegetables were about to go bad at least two time. It is very tricky for me, because I only can keep them in refrigerator for two or three days.
Great asset to the community. Was pleased to find this market while visiting family in the neighborhood. We picked up some staples and fresh flowers. They offer a very nice assortment of prepared foods and grocery items, and have a nice little coffee shop as well. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The best food shop I have ever shopped at; fresh sushi, fresh coffee and yummy sandwiches although top-end prices mean you need to be a banker or shoplifter.
(Translated by Google) Many variety of products. They have food to take away, sushi, salads, chicken ... many options. Organic and bio products. Excellent fruit and vegetables
Decent grocery selection. Prices on the mid/high range. I would shop here if I needed something in a pinch.
Pricey but decent selection and convenient location.
Too many fruit flies around the pastry

Awesome pricey supermarket for the 1%. Great selection of regular and gourmet grocery items. But they charge a large convenience premium for location. Wish I could afford it for my everyday grocery.
I go there often. They have very nice variety of goods that is similar to Whole Foods Market. Moreover this is the only store in this neighborhood that sell Trickling Springs cream line milk.
They have most things you need but in limited selection and at very high prices
Fantastic local market. Could use a bit more selection and range of products, but otherwise a solid little market.
Nice little supermarket
Convenient. So pay the price, prices are hiked obviously
This is a nice grocery store with good selection of products. The prices are generally on par with the stores around, the staff is friendly and the lines are not too long. They have a hot/cold bar which I have never tried but the selection looks good.
My favorite place for groceries. They just need to keep a closer eye on oranges. There have been several times when the bags of oranges have a few “bad apples”.
Great for lunch
Easy to get to from Exchange Place. Nice selection of fresh food options hot & cold. $5 min to use card, atm in store.
Great mix of healthy stuff (organic, gluten free, etc) and not so healthy stuff (aka food I would eat). If you're missing Whole Foods, this is a comparable spot. A bit on the pricey side for some items.
A good market place with selection of quality items.
Produce is fresh and the prepared foods are very good. It's pricier than ShopRite but tends to have better quality fruits and vegetables.
Love it
Little overpriced, but big choice of different food
Prepared food they served everyday is good, if I didn't find a maggot in a container of mixed nuts and fruits I bought there, I would of rate them 4 stars, I hope they took off all the containers of it from the shelves, I went there and show them, pretty disgusting!
I go there for their Japanese food, but is a well stocked food market. The Japanese chefs are very helpful and will prepare special dishes when asked.
Nice around the corner market, good selection of organic food. Prepared food for dinner and great for lunch. Beautiful deserts.
Be aware of long lines during lunchtime
Over priced Bodega with decent options. They tend to have things that are close to or past expiration. Check the dates. Convenient location though.
Good freshly made meals
Very nice & clean. Tons of groceries & goodies. Like a one stop shop. Even an outside section to enjoy your eats. Definitely will be back since it was my first visit.
Very good local shop
(Translated by Google) Excellent attention. Manager very attentive. The best option in the area. (Original) Excelente atencion. Manager muy atento. La mejor opción de compra por la zona.
Lots of variety of foods and pre-made meals. Prices are very reasonable. Great grocery store for the area!

Fantastic selection of yogurt beyond what you find in a chain grocery store. Fancy selection, solid cultural diversity of foods. Rewards points make the higher prices more reasonable
Convenient upper scale grocer a cut above the other options in Jersey City with crisp service
Great selection . Extremely friendly staff. Prices a bit on the high side
Great hot food and great sandwiches !
Items are good and fresh. Fruits and vegetables have good variety and quality
Best burger I've ever had! Definitely recommend the short rib burger and regular fries.
I work in the area and this is the spot for snacks, breakfast and sometimes lunch. Prices are reasonable considering the area. I don't live near here. Employees are pretty kind too. Best breakfast in the area.
Good quality and selection, but $$$.
Hudson Greene was clean, Neat and clean store. It was well organized and had a wide variety of choices of products and other products. I really enjoy shopping at this location. The workers are honest and friendly. Great products and reasonable prices with a lot of values on many items.
Great Market, good selection. But stay away from sushi and "fresh" . Bought another one today and it was old and smelly, for the second time. Had to throw out and eat something else for dinner. Stay with dry food and cans and you'll be fine. I will not by another sushi, fish or meat there. Everything else is OK so far.
Amazing selection. Produce, meats, organic And specialty. Long hours. A little on the expensive side
Better than the alternative lunch places around here.
Convenient. Nice food. A bit pricey for some items.
This is the only place to get food in this area. Some prices are okay. Register with them so after you spend $200 you get back $20. It feels like winning the lottery!
Little expensive but you can find most of the items you might need . Good place to shop for your grocery in emergency.
It's very quiet
For the first time I had to log in to write a review. I got a box of "Yucatan organic guacamole" from here last night, with an off chart price since I need it this morning to pack the lunch box. When I opened it this morning it was sour, and the color was yellow instead of green, and there was definitely no texture at all. It was like yogurt. We all know how easily guacamole gets bad if not properly stored. I went to the store asking what they can do about it. Nothing! Their manager insisted it was not bad and was impossible to be bad since it expires in 2 month. He didn't even offer an exchange. I walked away when he asked "have you had guacamole or avocado?" This is the worst customer service I have ever seen!!
Staying at Paulus Hook this the best mini market you can find. Five minutes walking from Parh Exchange Station, provides lot of options for house keeping and more such as takeaway hot soups, salads, pasta, sweets coffee etc. Friendly staff and normal prices. Highly recommended for those who stay in apartment and want to keep the travel budget low.
You can find delicious cakes here.. Like it
If i could give a minus star i would prefer that. Not impressed with the lack of common sense content of local staff. Gave me partial information and i had to face hassle and inconvenience because of that. And on top of that no apology and ‘couldn’t care less’ attitude. The market per se is good .. but the people can make or break the shopping experience.
Excellent choices of food for lunch everyday! The Cuban sandwich is amazing !!!
Yesterday, I went to Hudson Green to buy milk and return the bottles for recycling (which I have been doing for past 2 years). The gentlemen at the counter started screaming at me without any reason because one of the bottle was not 'properly' rinsed. This is an unreasonable and insulting behavior towards a customer. The 1/6 bottles was not rinsed properly and I am happy to do it, but there is no reason to treat customers with insult and harassment.
Good selection of high end foods.
Nice place but they have mice literally everywhere !
Yes it's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. If you like Whole Foods or Fresh Market then this place will work for you. I will be going back on payday
Great place for quick bite
Awesome food
Expensive neighborhood grocery store
Similar type of groceries and hot/cold food-to-go sortiment as 'Wholefoods', but on a smaller scale. Prices certainly lean more towards 'organic'. Staff are friendly, coffee and sweet treats are nice.
Useful natural foods market downtown with a decent selection of goods for a store of its size. However, the prices are pretty steep, a premium paid for the convenience.
Great service and friendly staff. Expensive and not a lot of variaty.
