Love going to this place for reasonably priced fruits and veggies. They also have a great seafood market and their floral section is beginning to improve. They except everything except american express and the the hours are very good they are open until 7:30pm. In the winter you can also get decent sized Christmas trees for $30 and if someone is available they will trim the bottom for you.

Those are live blue crabs! The produce market wasn't anything special but their fish market is epic! Clams, oysters, shark, crab, squid and any fish you could think of were whole and fresh from the sea! Many still wiggling! Or cleaned and cut for you.

I love this place! Very friendly staff even if they do not speak English, there is always someone who does and is willing to help. I highly recommend it for produce shopping. You get double for the price of a regular supermarket.

Fresh produce, fish, and imported goods. Has a year round flower shop. There is no parking not, but it's still a convenient stop in the neighborhood between Newark and Harrison. Though the selection is limited due to the moderate size market, you will find a few items that can't be found anywhere else. My personal favorite is the imported Ritter chocolates. They are nearly $3 a pop as of this posting, but you'd be hard pressed to find a chocolate that tastes as good in the US for the same price. They also carry scarved coconut and delicious watery Cantaloupes melons.

I have such fondness for these garden farm markets. Always run by immigrants, the prices are extremely reasonable. This location in Newark's Ironbound is no different. While you should go to Seabra if you want Portuguese or Brazilian groceries, if you want Latin American or Asian, I'd go here. In addition to tons of produce, they have a seafood section, flowers, and canned and bottled items.

Garden Farm Market has great prices on vegetables and fruits. I like to visit the market twice a month. The good deals vary with the season. Since different fruits are in season at different times you can save lots of money buying your fruits and vegetables at the market rather then a supermarket. Its worth a trip to Newark to visit the Garden Farm market.

Majority of the time I get a better deal on fruits and vegetables here than I do with the groceries stores in the area. That's all I go there for. There's also parking, but it's limited and for first timers they can get mixed up and parked in the paying side. Basically the side of the store, where cars face the wall in the parking lot is where you're suppose to park at.

Nice staff. Decent price vegetables and fruit. FyivIt's a farmers market. They do have a fresh seafood section. They do have a flower section as well which is relatively cheap. I always get my orchids from garden Farmers market as house warming gifts. During holidays like mother's day they do increase their price for the flowers a little. I always go there for my mother's day flowers. (Some arrangements are a little overpriced)
