This Fairway is really nice. It's really big with a wide variety of produce, and healthy brands. When you first walk in you'll enter the produce area. Everything looks fresh with so many fruits and vegetables to choose from. Then you'll see the bakery and cheese section. I love that they have a nice area for vitamins and organic hair and skin care. They also have a huge tea and coffee selection. youll find a wide variety of refular and organic coffees and teas. From a health perspective you should be able to find all the good stuff here that you won't find in your typical supermarket like shop rite.

I frequent this store often. Sometimes 3 or 4 times a week. For the most part their products are excellent. Meats, cheeses, fish and groceries are typically high quality but also high priced. That’s ok. I believe you get what you pay for. However, I have been extremely disappointed with the fruit. It has been absolutely awful. I very much look forward to “summer” fruits, and they have been consistently horrible. Many inedible. I haven’t had a decent peach, plum, nectarine or melon all summer from this store. The fruit is either hard as a rock and rots before ripening or it seems ripe and immediately ready to eat but instead when I get it home it is rotten. Maybe they freeze their fruit to make it last longer. Guess I should just stop buying fruit there, but I don’t learn. Bought some peaches there tonight that seemed ready to eat. Got home and was looking forward to a juicy sweet peach. What I got was a mushy, dried out mess that I couldn’t even get one bite out of! Very disappointing for an otherwise great store. If you love fruit, buy it somewhere else!

It's a unique, fun, and great grocery store with authentic food. There is also a hot food buffet of almost everything you can imagine - I haven't eaten there, but everything looked yummy. There's also a liquor store and an extensive coffee and cheese selection. A must visit!

Fairway has a vast produce section with a quite a large organic selection as well. Many varieties of cheeses, meats, coffee and alcohol, as well as other speciality items. Prices are slightly higher on average than other supermarkets such as Shop Rite but even still you can find decent prices on a lot of items. Still significantly less expensive than Whole Foods.

Possible the coldest store in both temperature and customer service. Not our first time at a fairway. Ask an employee where to find an item and they simply point without even saying what aisle. Checking out was a real pleasantry as well. No hello did you find everything you’re looking for today, nope just keep looking at the ground and hands us the receipt. We won’t be going back

Convenient supermarket. This store is open until 11pm but if you needed to buy fresh fish, meat or cheese late at night, there is no one to serve you. I arrived at 10pm, the store was empty, which was no surprise. No fresh bread ( just packaged sliced loaf ) Not one single server on the floor except 2 young ladies at the check out. I suppose it would be illogical to have more staff at hand, but there wasn't even anyone stacking shelves. Fairway has always been a rather expensive supermarket but they sometimes have better products, so it's a push-pull situation. There is always a peculiar smell when you walk past the meat/fish counters and I want to gag, but just hold my breath and skip quickly by. Certainly is not a pleasant odor. I think they need to address this. If it was the smell of olives or artisanal cheese, then I understand but it's more like a stale musty smell that hits my nose hard. Anyway, I do not use this store for my whole grocery needs because it would be far too expensive but I like their international food section and treat myself occasionally in this aisle. They also stock a natural hair color called Herbatint and for those ladies who need to dye the gray away, this is a wonderful alternative to the harsher chemically based colorants.

Very disappointed in my last shopping experience on Wednesday - I ran in to quickly purchase "fresh squeezed" Fairway orange juice and to my surprise, the $6.99 half gallon was likely from concentrate! I used to LOVE this place. Best butchers, greatest breads and cheese's, excellent fish monger's. Sadly, the last two times I had them fillet or clean a whole fish, DISASTER!!! I called the store immediately upon returning home, left a message, and didn't even receive the basic courtesy of a call back. Who manages this store? I took a picture of the fillet, which I paid good money for, hoping that someone would return my call, and I'd be able to show a rep for Fairway the chunk of protein missing from my fillet, but, alas, not even a whimper. AVOID this place at all costs. Although they are ridiculously over priced, I used to enjoy the extra mile they'd go to make their customers happy. Incredible grocery store that sells everything! My family and I visited NY, NY on a road trip and happened to stumble across this jewel to get supper and other items on the fly. We were amazed by the size and variety of food the store sells. We enjoyed the takeaway food a la carte. The only drawback was the pricing.

Foods were fresh, but no one at my party cared for the cookies and cakes I bought. Steaks were wonderful and on sale. A little pricey for some goods. Will keep going when I'm in the area.

Very clean well iluninated store, very large produce section with a large selection of organic and non organic. People are helpful and willing to help. In general is a large store and i noticed a large meat section as well as fish. There is a little cafeteria as well. Prices are alright unless you go for the sales which are many and in that case prices are very good and comparable or better than ShopRite. AFAIK it does not have a club card however I got a coupon in the mail for $10 off $50 and that's why I decide to go.in the end it was a good deal when the coupon is added.

I like the selection at fairway and everyone is super polite , however my issue is the fish / chicken . I bought a pack of frozen flounder and when I thawed it out the fish had white mold patches on it . Now that may or may not be their fault. Now the chicken is another story I pay for thin sliced and none of breast are actually thin , Instead they are always sliced very thick with lots of bad pieces left as if they do not trim it well. Also when defrosting the chicken it had a rotten smell and it was because their was a gray chicken breast on the pack and this happened twice . When you buy thin sliced you pay extra so that you don't have to do the extra work of trimming and slicing thin however the chicken is always thick and has arteries still intact . Please address this with you poultry department .

Specialty super market with different items to purchase. I like the coffee section with fresh beans from different countries. Offer organic and decaf too. Will freshly grind the beans or can do yourself at home. I also am impressed with their selection and quality of meats..and love the specials, esp on the filet mignon. They offer everyday items but their pricing can sometimes be higher than my local super market. It's an enjoyable experience shopping here!

A fantastic selection of specialty foods, cheeses, meats and coffee. The fresh coffee bean section is tremendous. The olive bar has about 25 different types of olives in addition to pickles, peppers, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes and capers. Fairway has a good selection of imported dried sausages, prosciutto and fresh pasta. It is a good place to begin your grocery shopping for that special meal.

Get there early around the holidays, the lines are around the block owing to the quality. Sale items are outstanding value but sometimes hidden. Hunt them down!

I love this supermarket. Their selection of almost every item they sell there is quite impressive to be quite honest. They have certain deli meats that you cannot find elsewhere, plain and simple. They have this one particular ham that comes from Spain and runs you about $100 per pound. Most quality deli's or butcher shops, etc in New York don't even carry it. You could easily get lost in that place and spend 6-10 hours shopping. Their hot food and lunch area is a must visit. The buffet area usually has some very interesting and inviting food that would have most people drooling if they were hungry. The cheese, deli meat, seafood, coffee bean, and wine areas to mention some of the better ones are better than what you find at other supermarkets. I really don't have anything negative to say about this place.

Everything is always fresh here! All employees are always courteous and friendly. The deli department is awesome as is the butcher/meat/seafood. Everyone asks if they can help you with anything. I don’t do big shopping here but I do pop in often for their great sale items!

Used to have really nice prime steaks. Around 8 months ago they started bringing in choice steaks and everything is bone in and full of fat and gristle. Bring back prime New York strip steaks. Also tired of explaining to the butchers that shell steaks are in fact different than the strip steaks because they come from the bottom part and aren’t as tender. I like to spend my time off cooking really high quality steaks in my cast iron skillet and drinking beer. I absolute refuse to buy anymore steaks from fairway until you guys stop featuring cheap garbage every week

As a foodie and dietitian, I feel lucky to live close to a Fairway. This is my go-to for special delicacies, imported foods, hard-to-find items, and health foods. Great selection, good customer service, and a few good weekly deals. They have a pretty decent wine, beer, and liquor selection and prices. I love their bulk coffee, healthy frozen foods, olive bar (the sundried tomatoes are the best!) and their fabulous hummus selection. I'm a vegetarian so I can't comment on their meat/fish/poultry/cheese options. Their produce is meh (I've been shopping at Fairway at least monthly for over 12 years and never once bought a quart of strawberries that ended up all being edible) -- it almost always looks better than it tastes. Also, I very often discover items on the shelves with past use-by dates, which is not a good sign. I would come much more often if not for their consistently high prices on regular items; about 20% more than Shop Rite or Stop & Shop, and often higher than the same items in Whole Foods. Unless you have a huge food budget or discretionary grocery funds, I recommend coming for items you can only get here, and get the rest across rt 46 at Shop Rite or at a farmer's market, or a nearby Aldi, Super Fresh, or Trader Joes.

They never seem to have georgia peaches. Otherwise they have an incredible selection of food. Maybe this is just something weird about me but I can't walk through Fairway without the intense feeling that the shelves are going to fall on me. A more serious complaint, and probably the cause of the aforementioned feeling, is that the isles are somewhat small which causes crowding.

Love the fresh ground coffee here. The place seems a little lifeless though. It has no zip to it. Nothing in here made me want to stay longer than I had to. The cashier's were friendly and the coffee is good, but...that's it.

Absolute favorite place to go food shopping! They have such a wide variety of quality products - everything from vegan and gluten free options to your more common name brand items. It's like Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and a Stop & Shop all came together, so there's something for everyone. The environment is great, the store is huge and the staff super helpful and friendly. Also, their attached wine&liquor store can't be beat.

I alway love to shop here. A fantastic selection of specialty foods, cheeses, meats and coffee. And omg ... coffee bean section is tremendous. The olive bar has about 25 different types of olives in addition to pickles, peppers, mushrooms, artichoke hearts...you name it they have it .Good selection of imported dried sausages, prosciutto and fresh pasta. It is a good place to begin your grocery shopping for that special meal.
