An excellent , " fresh market " with a wide variety of world cuisine items ! Vegetables are FRESH , so care must be taken in choosing and eating the products fairly quickly ! Many varieties of breads , " pickled " products including mushrooms , cabbage , tomatoes , etc . Cheeses , grains , fish , etc . Helpful staff and reasonable prices ! And a fairly large parking lot for your convenience !

Stay away from this store. The owner of the store rude and coercing like lower level person on my request from the guy working in this store to assist find some item. He really don't know the golden rule the customer is always # 1 and always right.He is absolutely not be able to control yourself. If you need the product better walk 100 yard to B&B store and you get much better service and quality.

I always like this little supermarket. It has a lot of european products which suits me just fine. Just the way I like it. They always have fresh fruit and vegtables, meat and dairy products.. The rest is also great. With a variety of teas, chocolates, nuts, and coffee. And other yummy things too many to name, I suggest people to go and look for themselves you may find more than one thing you like. It has some great Russian, Israeli, and european world products.

This is your average grocery store in Fair lawn. Since I live in fair lawns, I am very happy that the location is on River road, right in the center of town. I am also very happy with the quality of the products such as long lasting bananas, non-molded apples, and satisfactory bread portions. The only flaw that I could find was that there is only two cash registers, usually with only one person working. This is the great grocery store to get all your needs out of the way in Fair Lawn. Also, don't forget about the great candy section for the little ones!

Disgusting store, with horrible customer service. Please do yourself a favor and stay away. Brought back something bad next day after purchase. The owner wouldn't refund the money and was extremely rude. Please go to Trader Joe's or similar where they stand behind products they sell. The owner is a cheap nasty guy who didn't learn how business should be run in America.

Reviewing this for russian food shopping only. So far I'm 0 for 2. Will try again though, maybe I just wasn't buying the right things. I bought churchella here, after struggling to chew it, i checked the expiration date - 2 months past it. Also bought kievsky tort, it was horrible. One of my favorite cakes, uneatable! I'm not one to throw away food, but it was just that bad. Stale and bad. Hadn't thought to check the expiration date on it, so can't comment on that. They seem to have a fair selection of frozen goodies (pelmeni, blinchiki, etc). But I haven't tried any of these to comment on the quality. Giving 3 stars for carrying Monastirsky Kvas and for hoping that the above two were one-off's and my next attempt will be more successful).

It’s nice to have such a store around , with ok prices . The problem is that you have to check the dates on everything because it’s easy to buy an expired product in that store . And if I needed to return something even a few hours afterwords it was a big deal , I bought a drink yogurt that did not expire but was bad for some reason . the person at the register was trying to tell me that that it’s how a Goat yogurt should taste like , I said no way it’s sour and fuzzy, bubbly. She had to contact the owner who asked a lot of questions. It was for $1.80 . And this was the 3rd time I bought a bad or an expired item I did not know . Owner is a bit rude when it comes to returns and gave me hard time in the past . I have hummus I bought last week and I noticed it’s been expired 2 weeks ago , but because of the owners attitude I am going to put it in the garbage and not buy there anything that can go bad anymore.

I must say, I have yet to buy one bad piece of fruit from this place. Melons, mangos, papaya and pineapple are always ready to cut up the second you get home. Juicy and ripe without the need to wait days. Tomatoes always ripe and red without big bruises like the supermarkets. They do a great job hand selecting their produce.

This is a great place to buy Russian and Middle Eastern groceries. It has delicious foods you won't find anywhere else, and the very idea of a Muslim family operating a halal/kosher supermarket for mostly Russian-Jewish immigrants in the area is exactly what America is - or should be - all about. I love this place. I stock up on a lot of foodstuffs there way superior to what you'd get at a chain supermarket.
