Old school market feel This is a great place to get what you need much better then a convenience store and not was busy and overstocked as a traditional grocery store. Their deli and meat are fantastic with competitive prices and better then average food. They offer fresh made subs which are the best in the area. I highly recommend them.

Summary of my first visit: Today just before 11:00 am I visited your Bedford store for the first time. I enjoyed the "small town" feeling the store offered. All was pleasant until I checked out. The older lady with glasses working the checkout never acknowledged me, made eye contact or said Hello. She was more interested in speaking with her coworker (another elderly lady) about who was not coming into work today. I am not exaggerating when I say she did not even acknowledge I was there. I placed my three items (pancake mix, potato soup and sandwich rolls) on the register line, she let them sit there while she carried on her conversation. picked one up, held it for about 30 seconds and continued on her conversation. During that time I was trying to make eye contact, finally gave up and swiped my debit card. entered my pin etc. She finally finished ringing up the remaining two items; still not even looking in my direction. I took my bagged items and walked out. It was not busy in the store during my visit. First impressions mean a lot. I will not be spending any more money at your establishment.

A decent market albeit small. Great seafood, deli and butcher shop. Prices are a bit high on certain items. That said it's not Market Basket, just a tiny store with some cool selections and great customer service.

So everytime I come here I always find something wrong with food. Today it was the meat. Damn near every package of meat had a hole poked into it and judging by the dried meat poking through it had been like that for a while. I have also found hair in a muffin I purchased there too. The only reason I even go there anymore is to buy goats milk soap. It's a shame because they support a lot of local businesses by selling their products but I get grossed out buying food there now.

Small in square feet.....But have the best selection of beer, wine, fish ,meat ,deli local produce. Great gift ideas, plants, pastries. Easy to shop. Regular specials!!! Wished I lived closer..... I always stop in when I am visiting friends.
