We spent almost $80.00 on strawberries last evening. About a third of them rotted overnight in the fridge into our compost bin. Not particularly sweet. Beautiful berries rotting on the vine. I grew up on a 200 acre farmers garden like this. They need to have a decrease in price. SALE! They are way over priced for the quality. So many can't afford them and the berries are being wasted in the field.
