Family friendly, tons of fun things to do! Huge apple orchard, 19 varieties of apples available. Corn maze, bbq food on weekends. Pumpkins, and so much more!

Great place for summer pick your own berries

Daniela Hong

Unpleasant experience. The atmosphere was unfriendly and unwelcoming, which was a an unfortunate change from the last time our family had been there. Our family had enjoyed PYO apples, the corn maze, and hay ride at Brookdale a few years ago, but when we returned to reminiscence and enjoy these delights again, the environment had changed completely into such a rude and disagreeing place. A lady claiming to be the owner yelled at some kids for running around and when some of the adults in the group asked the lady to reconsider her words and inconsiderate actions she replied that the way we looked at the situation was only "our opinion". Never want to come back and very disappointed that the farm has become like this.

Amazing resource for figuring out irrigation projects and needs. So helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. We go here almost every year for irrigation supplies and advice, and we don't even live in New Hampshire, so that tells you how invaluable of a resource Brookdale is.

Bad customer experience with feeling racially discriminated on this visit. They treat us as we are steal their apple and yelled at our kids at parking lot. It seems they pick on us since we are non white. We are not going back and non of my friends group will visit this place as well.

Nice place, nice people, my only issue was out of their control, I purchased/picked berries and spent $40 doing so, went home froze them and found mini worms on blackberries, informed them but they just said sorry, no refund! So I just gave them $12+ for worm berries? They were nice though just would've liked refund!

Still the great local farm stand where you can buy fresh vegetables, fruit, and pies. Glad to see that they are still running strong since the last time I was in my childhood town of Hollis since 1989.

This place was fun we went to 3 or 4 different farms last weekend for the food and hay rides etc. This was your run of the mill farm what you would expect nothing stands out but, still good farm none the less.

This place is an experience. My husband and I visited the interior for the first time today, and picked in the orchard last fall. After visiting quite a few orchards in NH and Upstate NY, I would say this is by far the best in the area. Not only is it expansive, but the trees are clearly marked, the rows are neatly maintained and most trees can be picked by even the smallest patron. The store front is an added bonus: providing artisan pastas, local honey, meats, vegetables and dairy, vinegar and oil refill stations and a wide variety of both vegetable and flower gardening supplies, to name a few. There are also baked goods! I highly recommend visiting. (I'm giving four stars opposed to five because I am not entirely certain if they engage in the apple cider donut business, but if not, you can always visit Lull Farm up the road for a sweet treat post-pick!)

Bad experience with the owner. I found a fern that didn't have a price on it, but it did have 2 tags - one said "for sale" and another that had "NFS" on it. When I brought it to the register, the girl was confused as well so she went to check with someone. She came back and confirmed it was for sale, and had a price, so I purchased it. As I was walking out in the pouring rain, someone stopped me to ask "where did you get that"? Not knowing who or why I was being asked, I replied where I got it. He asked to see the plant, and after some back and forth and identifying himself as the owner, I asked if we could please get out of the rain to discuss further. He stated the plant was actually not for sale, as it belonged to someone else. Inside the store, he reprimanded the girl for not checking on the plant and condescendingly showed her the for sale sign actually had the word "NOT" which was covered up in the dirt. The girl looked mortified, and didn't say anything. I explained that she did in fact check with someone. He did offer to help me find something else, but I refused given the experience. I understand there was a miscommunication and certainly would not want to walk out with someone else's plant. However, I'm not ok with how he treated his employee. I also didn't appreciate the "sorry ma'am" until halfway out the store. Won't be back, there are plenty of other places like this with better management.

Great people with great berries. Pick blueberries and raspberries all summer with some blackberries as well. Raspberries until first frost. Apples are amazing 20 or so different varieties.

My family always choose to come to this farm every year for the last 15 years to pick apples because the friendly staffs and relaxing family friendly atmosphere. Unfortunetly that friendly atsmosphere and staffs are gone. The staff there looked and speak at you like u r there to steal their apples. If i want to steal anything, i dont think i would bring all 3 generations in my family including my parents and my 1 year old with me. We wont be back

Dewey Johnson

Annual apple picking trip was a success again! Always a great time!

THE Best berry picking around! Includes cherries, blueberries, all raspberries, and strawberries. Worth the trip and travel close and far. Dont rely on their automated picking hotline to see whats available and in season, rather just give them a quick call.

I will never step foot in this place again! I went around to see the pigs for starters, and the babies are trying to drink water out of empty bowls. Mind you, it is exceeding 80 degrees and humid like the middle of Florida. I go to ask the caretaker why the pigs have no water and explain they are thirsty, he replies, "they get water 3 times a day." I was appalled that anyone is not aware any living thing needs access to water 24/7 especially on a hot humid day and they are still babes. To make matters worse, I ask if they slaughter their pigs. He replies, 'yea of course, this isn't a zoo." Wow, excuse me but our family has a farm where we do not butcher our animals. How close minded are you? As he starts to look a bit embarrassed that he over stepped the line of decency to your 'customers' I am furious at this point. There is a moral code of farming that has been far forgotten. This is why I am vegan because I cannot stand the disassociation of humans like this. There is a moral obligation to care for these animals wether you are slaughtering them or not. What a jerk! I apologized for even asking and left for the final time in my life! I prefer the moral and kinder treatment given at Lull farm. I do not take well to condescending, rude jerks.

Loved visiting the farm and seeing the animals with girlfriend and taking pictures. However, a man driving a old red ford truck claiming to be the owner, drove towards us and rudely tried to kick us out even though it wasn't even 6. Still a great time.

Volirk Chan

Very awful experience. The cashier at the field was extremely rude. Such a lier. We got yelled at for going to the wrong field that we didn't get to pick anything yet and said she told us already not to go. Actually, she didn't tell & no sign on the field. She said its her choice to put a sign or not for us, she doesn't care. She said she's the owner and it's her property and kicked us out... Wow .. Such a evil person ... Highly not recommend to go to this farm
