Went to bakery for a birthday cake for my daughter. The last who took my order was very nice and helpful. I was very specific about what I wanted. When I went to pick it up it was not right. The lady brought it to me then threw on her coat and rushed out. It was sloppy and poorly decorated. It tasted fine but my daughter was disappointed You guys should be ashamed

NOOO! This is place is terrible with customer service and quality control. My friend got some fish there once and there was a worm in it. When she took it into show the manager, the manager confessed to her that this had already happened three times that week with that batch of fish. Yet, he didn't pull the fish from the shelves?!!!!!!! I recently bought a rotisserie chicken from there, within a 1-3 hours of eating it I got suuuper tired, then I started getting violent shivers and my temperature shot up to 102.5. The night progressed with me vomiting and having violent diarrhea all night. I wasn't able to go to sleep for more than 10 minutes if at all. I went to the local doctor / emergency clinic and they told me is that all my symptoms pointed to food poisoning. Considering that was the only meal I had yesterday, I knew they were right My boyfriend went to explain to the manager that now we would have to spend a whole bunch of money on Pedialyte and different groceries to help me through this incredibly painful ordeal. He asked the manager if he would mind reimbursing us for the chicken or if you would mind giving us a gift card to cover all the new groceries we were going to have to buy (cause pedialyte is not cheap). This manager, a guy named Carlos was not only disrespectful to my boyfriend.... but, he said he couldn't do anything and wouldn't do anything because that would be "admitting guilt "!!!?. He said we were going to need to bring in the doctors note stating that I "in fact" have food poisoning. And that I myself had to come in, and then fill out a bunch of paperwork. I'm sorry, I'm currently peeing out of both ends of my body and cramped so hard I can barely breathe sometimes!! I will never shop at the Smith's grocery again. & I recommend that no one go to the one on a Cerrillos road, if you want to keep your health. I don't trust any of their meat anymore. And their candor/ professionalism made me never want to shop there again. Once I feel better I will be returning with my doctors note and to fill out the paperwork. It is ridiculous that a grocery store thinks they can get away with serving people undercooked and contaminated food. Oh, also, he never had a conversation with the rotisserie cooks, or pulled any of the other chickens from the shelf so...... there is the change. There is no monitoring of meats there. No care.

This is one of my favourite Smith's locations and also, in my opinion, one of the best stores in all of the Kroger family chains. The employees here are friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and well organised and the parking is convenient. This store often has really great deals on meat and other things, including non-food items. They have a rewards club that can save you loads on gas and coupons that can be used to cut back the cost of your groceries. I have never had a bad experience here. The often have case lot sales here and you can stock up on things that you use frequently and save money in the process. They are good about returning the shopping carts and usually have disabled carts that are charged and ready to go. The store is also next to other shopping locations, so you can get a lot done in the same parking lot. One of the best grocery places out there.

I drive from Yerington, it’s the best. Our grocery(R) charges more for the same items than the one in Gardnerville or Carson and the Smith’s in Gardnerville is not clean and tidy. Seafood section smells bad all the time. I drive 50 minutes extra to get there and it’s worth every mile each way.

New coupon system is incomprehensible. The system requires you sort through 533 coupons to add necessary products to your cart. Then you need to sort through the isles for the product. Time is valuable and I won't return to Smith's.

My favorite grocery store to shop at which is convenient since they're the only grocery store in Dayton. They are always friendly when I use coupons and if you need help finding an item the smiling associates will take you to the item instead of sending you on a wild goose chase. They also have complimentary fresh fruit in the produce department for the kids when you arrive and after that you can stop by the bakery for a delicious sugar cookie.

I do most of my shopping for organic food at Smith's. The Smiths on Cerrillos isn't quite as nice as the one on St Michaels/Pacheco but I noticed it is getting renovated and looking much better. To be honest I have never had a negative happening at Smith's. The workers are nice the cashiers are always friendly and the people that shop there don't try to run you over in the parking lot like some of the other grocery stores in town. Grocery stores are changing. The good news is Smith's on Cerrillos still has some of the best buys in Santa Fe. Smiths Pacheco has upgraded with higher prices and Boars Head deli. Head over to the more modest Cerrillos Smith's with its decent produce, manager specials and friendly service. Theres a 50 cent Hispanic Bakery, plenty of yogurt and 99 cent produce specials. Or, try Sprouts. This natural grocer is more competitive now that Smith's and Albertsons have raised their prices.

Smith's is a great place to get the biggest bargain for your money's worth. The produce is fresh, the store is clean and the meet is good quality. I shop at this location because it has years of history for me and my siblings since it was Jewl Osco. Smith's is the place where we have a memories as a kids going to the grocery store and probably racking up your parents bill double because of all the extra fun foods we threw in the basket before checkout. Today I will sadly say goodbye to a specific Smith's location for good due to the continuous horrible bad service in the meat department. On several occasions when I have had to ask for something not on the shelf the butcher manager will come out and while he looks at me like I am an inconvenience he always gives an attitude. Like most people...I look at the ads every week specifically for the meats. When I see a good deal I purchase large quantities to freeze so I have food on stock for my family. Today I had a raincheck for Ribeyes which to my surprise was expired. I presented it to the seafood attendant who took it to the back and gave it to the butcher manager Pat. He nodded his head and came out of the back and said "when did you get this" (with a smerk on his face and squinted eyes) I told him I believe it was dated 6/5. He told me in a sarcastic tone "well it's expired." I then proceeded to tell him that no where on the raincheck does it state they are only valid for 30 days nor does it give a 30 day limit. Now granted I don't get get rainchecks often I never new this was a rule. I asked him where it stated there was an expiration date and he smirked and said it's always been 30 days and he didn't write the raincheck and would not honor it. I told him to call the manager. He did so and then went back to work. When the manager came to see me he came out and told her he didn't know who was giving me these rainchecks but I came in before and bought 14 packages the previous week. Well yes I did... With my mother who also had a raincheck. We spent over $200 worth of meat that day not to mention all of the other groceries that day. Today I had my raincheck and was going to redeem it. He continued to tell his manager that when they were on sale that he never ran out so why would I have a raincheck. I know for a fact they ran out because I went to Smith when they were on sale and he specifically said they didn't have anymore in the back. The manager told him she would honor it and then he got a really irritated look and said he didn't have any in the back. When he saw that I was upset he began to smile a really big smile and smirked at me. I told him I would be reporting this incident. This is really disheartening.I will no longer be going back to this location and I will definitely share my experience with everyone I know. This happened at approximately 10:42 am Saturday July 6th. After this incident I left without my steaks and went over to Albertsons. I purchased 6 large steaks for $5.97lb and 6 lobster tails along with groceries. Today Smith's lost that sale and several future sales from myself and any other family member or friend who I tell my story to.

I've been to a few Smith's stores in Albuquerque, but this one really impressed me. The deli and bakery were nice/clean/well stocked along with a very delicious looking produce and the rest of the store was nice as well. I would have given it the 5 stars but my experience at the checkout wasn't so nice. I asked for a Smith's card since I haven't lived in Albuquerque for a few years and no longer carry it since there's not a Smith's in Las Vegas NM, and cashier asked if I was from here or from Mexico!! I felt this was a prejudice question to ask someone! Anyway, did it matter if I was from Mexico? I mean...I couldn't get a card if I'm "from" Mexico and wouldbe shopping at Smith's? I did not appreciate this as a NM born and raised American!

#Smith's in Dayton,only has 5 handicapped carts and one of them is broken. There are never any carts when I go in. One of the courtesy clerks brought in a bunch of carts, and I asked her if she could find me a handicapped cart. She said, "There is one going out the other door! Follow them and bring it back in." (I asked her to get me the cart because I have difficulty walking and am in excruciating pain with my back.) Someone from the butcher shop came up and asked me why I was sitting there, and I told him, and he said, "Well, have a good day! Hope you get a cart!" Finally, the first girl came back, and I again asked her to get me a cart. She went out looking and brought out 4 carts, one at a time, and every one was either completely dead, or needed to be charged! She couldn't find the 5th cart (It was sitting there broken.) So I took a regular cart and walked around. She was bagging when I got to the check stand. She apologized that I didn't get a cart. I told her, she should have gone and gotten me one when I first asked, and that they should be bringing the handicapped carts back in and getting them charged as needed and not just leaving them in the parking lot all day. She leaned over and said, "Give her green points!" My slip said I had 10 green points, but I have no idea what a green point is! Today I shopped at Smith's in Carson where they always bend over backwards to take care of the customers and they have about 10 handicapped carts which they keep charged and waiting in the store!

Their constantly moving products around so you can't find anything . They discontinue products that are good for a diabetic , such as Mayan flour tortillas . They stock their shelves during the day when the store is really busy . When it should be done at night when the store is quite . And why is produce always in such a mess it use to be well stocked . I always have to ask an employee where something is because it's not on the shelves . Can't wait for some compatition or Smith's makes a larger store .

Best smiths ever. It is always clean and the staff are amazing. It is open 24 hours which is fantastic. It does get extremely crowded between 430 and 630pm so i try to go either before or after. Before is better though because everything is well stocked att that time of day. It may be a large commerical chain grocery store but it feels like a mom and pop market where eveyone knows your name.

Two weeks in a row, the men's room in Smith's on Cerrillos Rd. was filthy - and that despite a sign on the door stating the store was proud of its restrooms. On my second trip to the store, June14, I tracked down a manager, which was not an easy task, and complained. The manager seemed annoyed that I was complaining and blamed the situation on homeless people. He was barely apologetic. I noted that the manager himself was scruffy and easily mistakened for someone without a home. That is not a good sign. Consider me a lost customer.

Very disappointed.....had to run to Smith's late at night as my child was sick. Knowing and had been there 10 min to 12 before I knew they would be open. So I walk in st 11:48 to grab 2 things the very very rude so called manager tells me I only have 5 min to get what I need or the registers will be closed. I asked dont you close at midnight and she replied very rudely again "no we all close when we want and I close 5 till midnight so you have 4 min now". In my opinion that's not how to run business.

It's a nice store staffed by real people. The bakery always smells nice and the security guard is always friendly. It's sometimes very busy here, but the are plenty of checkout lanes and four self checkout lanes. The aisles are also wide enough for two shopping carts to pass each other.

I've always liked Ralph's in California so naturally I thought I'd like Smiths, which for groceries is fine, but the Deli Department here has gone straight down hill! They forget to make large orders I've already paid for, run out of sandwich meats and breads, and are late with my trays and chicken every single time despite my building their poor service into my pickup times. I used to like coming here. Not sure what has happened that their inventory has thinned out and for some reason the employees have become unfriendly for the most part. I'm still trying to figure out why the cashier say good morning and hello to everyone single person in their line but then dead stared me in my eyes and said nothing. It's a great little grocery store. Prices are competitive and many times cheaper than other stores. Produce is always fresh, and between 9am and 12 noon you can find fabulous discounts on some produce items. Their store brands are also very good.

We've known Smith's in another location and by another name, and we have always found what we needed there. This store is no exception and it was a busy place, conveniently located near old town Santa Fe. The parking lot was full too. The Pharmacy is horrible. Rude, rude cashiers. No one, including the manager, knows how to talk to customers. Their philosophy is: Even if we are wrong and rude, we are right and if you don't like it, you can't come back. The cashier actually told me to get off of my phone before she would help me, like I'm a 2 year old. Oh and I'm 69. Oh and I've been a customer for 7 years. So much for loyalty and courtesy. Every month, my husband's rx are not ready, even though they have been on automatic for 2 years. They are a mess.
