Quick,easy, and convenient. Mornings are so busy when your late for work and need to get last minute things before hand. A few registers in self check out were down, but I didn't want longer then a few minutes to go up. When assistance is needed they come help fairly quickly

Selection is slightly beliw average, although they have great produce. The biggest problem I have with Food Max is their checkout/bagging setup. If you're planning a large shopping trip, I would suggest going elsewhere.

The produce looked very old. Things where not organized. Lack of product on one whole deli area, nothing!!! They do have one product no one else in Carson City carries. That's why I gave them 3 stars instead of 2!!!!

I found a Seroquel (an anti-psycotic sleeping pill) pressed into a salt water Taffy I bought from here!?!?! What the fruçk! The managers are very rude. The workers are nice however.

The store is good but don't buy from their meat department it is tough and not cut correctly evertytime I have been in a hurry and go there to cook for dinner we end up not eating it because it it too bad of a cut go to walmart or smiths they have better meat

I don't know who the genius was that put the shopping cart speed bump strip in front of the front door here and painted it yellow, but whoever it was should be fired. Anything that's not extremely secured in your cart when you go over the top of that thing is likely to be jiggled out of its bag or worse. I can't think of a single reason that should be there. Speed bumps are for cars, not shopping carts. This always provides a not-so-enjoyable ending to every shopping trip I make there.

I'm impressed with the new Organic Fruits and Vegetables Section there now. The Prices of the Organics is Awesome. I can't afford the other Stores that carry Organic but, I can with Food Maxx. Thanks to all your Employees for keeping my Local Food Max Store Enjoyable to Shop at. My only Complaint I have is, I'd like to see Purple Potatoes and Purple Carrots. I'm battling Cancer and the Purple Fruits and Vegetables are an Excellent Source in fighting against Cancer Cells. Again, Thank You Food Maxx

Saw a duffle bag inside the store by the entrance door, inside the building, unattended. Reported to the Food Maxx cashier supervisor and two other employees, they would not check it. I complained like the old lady I am, LOUDLY, that where I come from they check right away. So they looked at it rudely and left it there, even though it looked full. It is dangerous to leave unattended containers anywhere near public buildings. Thank you.

They brag about their low prices but most everything I see is cheaper at Walmart. Nothing is easy to find, and I honestly just get an all around creepy feeling in here. The people who work there are kind and helpful though. Just not a place I plan on shopping in, I'll gladly drive a bit further for what I need at better prices & easier to get in & out of.

The store is huge. We go for the produce and end up trolling the aisles for more stuff we had to have. They have super prices on meats and especially seasonal turkeys. I can usually find clearance goodies near the cashier area for great savings, too!

I shop here a couple times a week for sale items or items that I can't get at the other grocery store I shop at. I enjoy this location because it is convenient on my way out of Carson to shop at last, which is perfect because they have 20 lb bags of ice that I can't track down anywhere else. The aisles are giant so the store is easy to get around in and I don't have to worry about bumping carts with other shoppers trying to maneuver around like a Twister game. The store is always clean when I go in and the employees are smiley and friendly. My 3 year old also gets a sticker everytime we go so she can put it in her little kids club booklet they gave to her. Everytime she collects 8 stickers, or maybe it's 10, she gets to choose a free item from the book. She chose a package of cookies from the bakery and a 12 count string cheese so far and we'll have to get another book next time she goes with me. It's also a coloring book so she loves when she gets to get another one when we fill one up. She makes sure I have her sticker book in my purse if I tell her we are going grocery shopping and she loves asking the cashiers for her sticker. That's worth 5 stars alone, it just so happens I like the store as well.

Never going back tried to say my Oregon id was fake because she’s probably never even seen one. Literally went down the street and got my beer there with the same ID. Straight racial profiling from the manager Stephanie I. Call the customer line and everything. DONT GO HERE ITS A WASTE OF TIME. They don’t even deserve one star.

They have an alright selection of semi-decent produce. Their meat selection is sketchy. My main complaint is about the fact that after almost 2 years of being open they have yet to figure out how to make their music function smoothly. It skips and crackles the entire time you're in there at an insanely frequent consistency. Not sure how a branch of a large company couldn't figure this out.

One manager or "p.i.c." in particular is extreamly lazy. This individual has cause negative customer service for me personally more than once. On the plus side, the store is a ghost town no matter what time you go in. Kinda nice. Wonder if the two have anything to do with eachother?

It is close to where I live but the prices on the meat and milk are ridiculous $3.30 for a gallon of milk is ridiculous, especially when it was just $2.96 last week needless to say I'm not doing any big shopping there and I won't be getting my milk there

Great deal for groceries some common fruits can be found cheaper at grocery outlet, however the deals here are great. I dont recommend buying toiletries such as shampoo and toothpaste for example as they are overpriced compared to most stores in town. No school supplies, no makeup but has hallmark cards and gift cards. and has a pretty big parking lot (70+) that is never full. Friendly service always.
