My first experience with this business was many years ago when in CMSU (now UCMO). My parents would bring me treats when they came to visit. It's about 1.5 hours away for me, so I don't go often, but I am never disappointed when I do. Great selection of spices, flavorings, jellies, jams. Many items in bulk pastas, flour, gelatins, soup mixes, candies, etc. Many choices of trail mixes, old fashioned sodas, baking bits and all color of sugars/sprinkles. Excellent seasonal plants! Corinthian windchimes!! Lunchmeat, cheese and butter! Vegetables!! Baked items! Worth the stop for sure!

We travel an hour get to this store. They have some great bulk prices, but do your homework before you go. Some are deals and some are not. If you come with kids or don't have the will power to bypass treats you are in for a challenge. As soon as you go in the front door the flow sends you to your left. The first row is bulk snacks, candies and chips. They have great deals, but don't come hungry you will leave with more than you planned. They have great homemade baked goods and a deli as well. The decorations on the walls are also for sale. The workers are local and are also a great source for local information on other eateries, stores, etc. They are kind and helpful. Worth the hour drive.

While traveling across Missouri, we'll take 50 hwy just to go to this great little shop that recently expanded to accomodate their growing clientele. We get our Christmas Cookie toppings--colored sugars, sprinkles, etc--every year as they have reasonable prices and different products than you'll find in regular retail/supermarket settings. And make sure to try the various baked goods they sell--you can't go wrong with their lemon cookies or cinnamon rolls! And although we haven't used it, they have a full service deli as well, again looking like it could rival a good supermarket. They are closed Sundays, and per the signs posted in their store, they would prefer you be modestly dressed, as many, if not all, of the employees are from the amish/mennonite faith community. And as such, every employee is kind, helpful and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a good alternative to regular supermarkets, this is the place to go!

The store is very clean and well stocked. All of the employees are helpful, polite and courteous. The deli meat and cheeses are very good. It is interesting to watch the girls prepare the bread pans for their homemade breads and cinnamon rolls. They also have a very nice selection of sharp stainless steel knives at reasonable prices. They have a good assortment of wind chimes at affordable prices. I love this store!

This was my first trip to the Bakery. The prices are very reasonable. The fresh breads are excellent. The sandwiches looked wonderful. It's easy to spend a couple of hours here. You can buy their frozen pies to bake at home. I highly recommend visiting and enjoying a step back to an old fashioned store

Another good, but not great Mennonite grocery store. Lots of the usual...bulk spices, candy, baking goods and when in season, lots of veggies and such. But their bakery section is lacking as is their frozen meat section. Brown eggs are cheap as our the cheeses but this grocery store just like every other one I've ever shopped at, has lots and lots of outdated and expired foods. They have one of the biggest deli's around and their sandwiches are cheap and well made. The girls can vary from friendly to vacant, depends on the day. There are clean restrooms and in the spring and summer, there are tons of well priced plants and veggies.

This store is awesome! So much variety & the prices are so affordable. The owners and workers are so kind and helpful too. I love the homemade pumpkin bread from the bakery! In the summer and fall they have wonderful homegrown tomatoes that are so tasty. Definitely worth the drive here!

We live in Nebraska and come to MO as often as we can. We deliberately route through Tipton just to stop at Dutch bakery. After telling several friends about what we consider the BEST sandwiches we've had, they do the same. We love the variety of food, but the sandwiches are super! Staff are really friendly. Prices are reasonable. We get bummed when we return home on Sundays because they aren't open. I'd recommend this place over any Dutch place I've ever been. Try it. Guarantee you'll love it.

It is a quaint Country Store. We stop by anytime we drive past Tipton. Homemade baked goods, sandwiches, locally grown vegetables, pickled beets and other vegetables... Just a bit of Americana that is still left. Definitely worth the stop..

We are from west Texas and were in Missouri looking for blue sky the day of the Eclipse. We stopped there and it was amazing. The people were super friendly and the fresh food was amazing. We brought so much back home and had a party with all the goods we purchased. Plan to stop again sometime. The deli is great.

Dutch is wonderful! any spices, baking, or canning needs, they have it all. the sandwiches are fantastic! the deli is great. and i am surprised no one has mentioned the brownies!!! they are fresh and delicious! the prices are unbeatable! i think a sammie is 3.95 and a brownie .40! also love their fresh local produce, handmade quilts, and cookbooks(grandma's recipes is priceless). it is a lovely step back in time.

My wife and I found this gem 15 years ago on the way to the lake. If we are within an hour of this place we stop! Several times a year we will drive 2+ hours just to go there. Yes! Its that good. The sandwiches are ridiculous.....you simply will not find better. Let me tell you how good the sandwiches are....when i go down there i eat one there....and then buy 1 plain for the next day! Homemade bread....piled high with whatever you want on it. Fresh baked rolls...pies....breads....YUM! Just Do it!

Very commercialized, but still a fun trip. They have Birch Beer, Root Beer, Sarsaparilla, and sometimes even homemade ice cream during the summer. We buy a number of items here, but you don't want to pass up on the locally made molasses or local raw honey.

Lots of fun to stop here while out driving (Hwy 50 is a fun alternative to 70 to get across Missouri). They recently opened a bigger store, with a lot more shelf and refrigerated space. Lots of bulk candy, snacks, and spices. Great Dutch letters in the bakery (good if you like almond).

I used to live in town and shopped here about once a week. The deli was the best thing they could have done. I usually buy larger chunks of cheese. They do give a small discount on that. They have a large selection of bulk candy and baking necessities. The bathrooms are very clean if you are traveling.

This place is amazing. I tried to encorage my,, brother and sister-in-law to go here by telling them it was so clean you could eat in the bathrooms. They have great Bulk Foods everything from spices to Candy to flours to gluten free stuff. I tried to avoid their home baked products because they are way too good. They have a nice cool and frozen section that includes things like homemade horseradish and scrapple. In the spring they have local greenhouse-grown herbs plants and flowers that are much less expensive than I can find in the KC area. In the summer they have Amish grown fruits and veggies. In the fall you can find mums, gourds, and pumpkins.
