Hands down one of the best Mexican food offerings in the Twin cities. You want be dissappointed. Authentic, "Made by Mexicans" menu ensures satisfaction! Definitely check it out!

Todd Downing

Pretty interesting. Reminds me of the bizarres they have in downtown LA. Food can be a little pricey. Holy Land has amazing food!

Brian Curry

What an amazing place to stop at. Got multiple choices for food. Great little shops. Even can stop by for an adult beverage. I stop by to grab some food at the very least monthly. I would recommend to anyone that is taking the family out or if you just dont quite know what you want to eat yet

Marlaina Minear

Muhammad Jiwa

Always excited to see the vibrant cultures, traditions, delicious foods, great places to go with children or for a business meeting, you will never be disappointed

Barbara Powell

Go. Go get your expansive sense of the world fulfilled. There are so many wonderful vendors from around the globe and they need your business to stay afloat. The global market offers vendors a certain amount of time to turn a profit and try to rotate in cultures that aren’t as well represented. Honestly tho, I hit up TacoCat like it’s no one’s business. Because of the McFly nachos. O. M. G.

Bruce Burton

A diverse selection of restaurants, grocery stores, and shops that draw from many of the world's cuisines and cultures. Worth many return trips, because you can't eat it all in one trip! The place appeals to all the senses, with unusual and attractive sights, smells, and sounds.

Mubassher Kamal

Charming market of various ethnic shops. Food prices vary from shop to shop but usually are pretty affordable. Really nice place to hangout with friends and they sometimes have live music.

The options for food here are amazing! I went to four different ones over the course of two weeks and all I can say is that I was a fan of everything I ordered at all of them. Def get a map at the security desk though because it is a little confusing in here!

Janice Ryan

What a wonderful selection of ethnic foods from around the world....

Esfaque Ahmed

Loved this place! World of food and clothings from different parts of the world. Latino, Asian, African, or Scandinavian food waiting for you to be devoured. Camel burger at Safari restaurant was very good. It was the first time I have ever had camel burger and I wasn’t disappointed. I highly recommend. There are several halal restaurants. So if you want halal food that’s the place you go to!! There are lot of benches to sit down and enjoy your meal.

Tonya Adrienne

Genni Mae

Great variety and most vendors will let you sample before you purchase the whe dish!

Kamran Hayat

Place had a great selection of foods from different parts of the world. Prices were a bit higher than i would like but with acceptable range. The place needed to be cleaned though.

AJ Papakee

This place was so cool! I loved seeing new things

Candace Chance

Didn't know what I was walking into but I was pleasantly surprised. A couple of gems. Some new hipster-ish things. Got to support a black owned biz (The Rituals Shop) so I'm super satisfied! Left with some bomb soap, candles, and oils

Maria Christina Brewer

This place was so cool..They have food, shopping, and free yoga and meditation classes in the conference room...You should bring a friend for a great day out.❤❤❤

Lope Xwambalingdwarf

Alot of great cultural food. Free events on thursdays and fun for all ages. Check out Sabai, Taco cat, La Loma, Salsa La Salasa, Manny Tortas and East Lake Brewery! Those are my top favorite place to eat!

Karin Johnson

I love this place!! Great food, fun shopping. Fun shop owners and friendly people. So much cool stuff in a small space!!

B.J. Hardy

Food is pricey for the locals on a regular basis but makes for a nice place to visit occasionally. A good place to try something new. In spring and summer there are better weekend events imho but check the schedule as I am sure there is something for just about everyone. Good coffee shop among the vendors as well a wide selection of gifts from all over. Worth a visit.

Esme

Nice place to walk around there is stores, grocery stores, there is food from all over the world all in one place

Theresa Crozier

There's something for everyone here. Awesome place to go for shopping in the winter. Love the Moroccan rug shop, Rituals, and sitting down at the Brewery afterwards. Also, Taco Cat is something I dream about when I'm not in town.

Abigail Proell

Lots of great food options and fun shops. A great place to get Asian or Middle Eastern food.

Nance B.

Went here with the triplets they had just had breakfast before we left the house. Didn't take long for I'm hungry to kick in. What is one to do?! So many options to pick from, ended up with an order from Holy Land and Andy's Garage. The food took away their imaginary hunger pains. Left us time to walk around the shops and grab a trinket or two for all of them. Got a maraca for the 2 yr old who would have walked around this joint for hours.

Jeremy Been

So many choices for food. Perfect for groups that can't decide what to eat.

Ann Stineman

Beautiful building with alot of cool stalls/shops. I love that you can get a variety of different things to eat. Wish there were more of these markets throughout the cities!! It would help a nanny expose little kids to a variety of foods and items that they dont normally get to see other than in books.

Karl Narveson

Best food court in Minneapolis. Many cuisines to choose from. Thronged at lunchtime, and seems to be a favorite with the doctors and nurses from the adjoining hospital complex, so the food must be healthy, right? Spacious and well lighted, but noisy with echoes off the brutalist bare concrete floor and square concrete pillars.

Corey Hinkle

I really enjoyed this place. So many different foods to try! Everything was very authentic and all people were nice definitely wanted to share their food and crafts with you. We tried a few different places, all had good food. The bar will also let you order food there from places within the market. Very good idea. I would definitely visit again, hard to find something so eclectic.

Karen Moua

I LOVE Midtown Global market. There is never a dull moment at Midtown Global. If you are craving tamales they got a place for that. Pasta? Done. Sushi? Say no more. Camel burger? You got it! I definitely recommend a visit and try a cuisine you have never tried before!

Margaret Haws

Nice variety of food. Everything is so tasty! Love their grocery sections too.

J Waterous

Saturday music schedule, actual grocery store, many food venues, it's like a maze inside but once you try it you're hooked on the variety and quality of the food. Some don't make it but the survivors are just busy enough to insure fresh hot food. Today I grabbed a coffee frappe from Mapps Coffee shop with a nice blueberry muffin.

Marissa Noel

So much to see amd such good diverse food.

Tracy Williams

Lot's of options for different tastes!

Andy Memelink

Love this place, so many good options. Wish their was more free parking options

Kausar M.

Perfect place to see and feel the diverse atmosphere and loved their foods!! We stopped at Safari where not only is it Halal and so delicious! Great food great staff!!

Julia L

This place is epic and I 160% recommend this place. There's a delicious restaurant for every single type of food you're looking for, as well as a food market with local and international products. It's a place I will frequent again for sure!

Ali Ezzeddine

What an amazing experience. You'll have to go see to experience the real magic of it. So many different cultures on display, such a warm and inviting place. Defenitely going back.

Mister Steak

Very good place, all varieties of food! White food for the kids, and diverse selection of foods from around the world (thus “global”) where anybody can enjoy!

Tonya Fisher

This place has some amazing game food and gifts

s Reillo

Has some good places and some not so good it would be better if they just clean some more

Maria Ohmann

This place was the BOMB, There was so much interesting food and fare. And people! I mean, I AM from white-washed Saint Cloud, BUT the diversity of culture was really interesting to experience. I dined at the Holy Land stand and really enjoyed myself-and my leftovers today. Yum!

rr 58

great choices of eateries. we ordered tamales.

Shane Bradley

Such a large selections of ethnic foods, some good old American grub as well and a bunch of international shops to check out. There is a brewery there and it has a great selections of beers . Taco Cat not your ordinary taco place. But is really good... At Andy's Garage, I like the Diablo burger and their fresh cut fries , which are at a very reasonable price.. Try these out , or try something new.. Very cool experience.

Jodi Keyes

Love this place! They have food and shopping from across the globe! I recommend Sabai Asian Restaurant. Their pad Thai is amazing!

Ralohn hare

Sambusa sambusa sambusa sambusa and whatever the green sauces please I need it it's so good I would rather go to this DMV than any other DMV because of the sambusa but other than that that line at the DMV as well as the wait time is crazy I'm always flabbergasted about how much time was spent waiting to be assistant but the sambusa helps me pass my time

Sussanah Ha

Love it! Something for everyone here. I do wish they'd bring back the validated parking, but still worth checking this place out.

Dustin W

Absolutely love this place! So much to see, eat and drink! Some may not like the neighborhood it's in but it's part of the experience. A bit of a melting pot and you'll get some characters for sure. It's one of the most unique places in the twin cities area and worth the trip!

Daniel Garcia

Public/Private spaces are rare in Minneapolis, especially ones where the wifi is free and volume of space can accommodate large get togethers or secret ronedvouz without policing of one drink minimums or 30 mo items limits. The downside is the hours this place is open coincide with regular business hours and the distance from Uptown proper make its clandestine meetings or people watching a limited pursuit. If the word got out, maybe this market would be more bustling and, well, market like.

Matt Lakin

Man they have these gyros there that are like the size of a cat.. three - five pounds. Absolutely amazing

Sheryl Crawford

Grand daughter and I ate at a Somali stand. Besides having great tasting food it was more than you can eat for just over $8. Also, the service was great and the girl was friendly. One of the rare commodities these days....service with a smile. We plan on returning to the market just to eat there.

Grace Cassel

I go here once a week. Mana D's barbeque, la Loma, hot Indian kitchen, and taco cat are favorites.

Katie Macmillan

Love the global market!! So much to see and experience!! So manny different vendors from different cultures and backgrounds. They also have events, like Wee Wednesdays and love music. Great great place to visit and have a bite to eat. Lots to choose from!

Diane Haugesag

Great vendors, a huge variety of cuisines, and friendly people! There's often live music or dance classes!

Nancy Randall

I love the variety of food options here. From pizza and soup (Jakeenos have the BEST tomato basil soup) to BBQ and Sushi, you are are bound to find something that suits your cravings. All are local business owners...you'll often see the owners behind their counters. The market also has a small grocery area to buy beverages, fruit, and snacks. Note that parking can be terrible depending on when you arrive. There is a parking lot by the bus station out front as well as a ramp behind the building. They both get full fast. If you purchase food, keep the receipt so you can get your parking validated.

Amy Blumke

So much variety to choose from. I loved going here for a quick bite to eat when I was working at Allina.

Scott Johnston

Holy Land Deli has the best gyros in town. Tons of meat ! No fold over pitas. Opened and stuffed to the top. I always order extra meat even though its necessary

liam heidecker

Great. I will keep coming to this place. I enjoy the food and culture. Also super friendly environment

TeQuila Hollins

Had the safari African food and thought at first it wouldn't be that good but oh did they surprise me. Bought some food and it was worth every dollar. Wanted to immediately get more but couldn't even finish what I had in front of me lol. I will be coming back for more plus there is so much diversity within this one place. You get to meet new people and try new things. I love it.

Jay Herrick

This was a great place to experience food from a variety of cultures, from restaurants to little grocery stores. You've got to check it out if you're in the area

Sabrina Petersen

Lots of variety and a GREAT way to support small, local businesses. It is a very clean, safe and inviting place.

Jared King

If you like cultural foods with a diversity of people watching... This is a nice place to visit which has exotic foods.

Kayla K

I love walking around this place, especially when I want unique food. The shops can be a bit pricey, but I enjoy supporting the small businesses either way. Los Ocampo, Holyland, Taco Cat, East Lake Brewery, Phongs... and the little super market are excellent!! I also enjoy getting little trinkets and treasures here that you can’t find at corporate stores!!

CJS Shannon

Great City Flavor Idea. Calm peaceful. Many great options.

James Estes

Diverse eating establishments, fair quality, not much else. Should be called a food court, not a market.

Stanze Smith

Fun finds, great food, adventure and learning with every step you take. Try the camel burger. Holy land has the best falafel. They have some of the best insence I've every had here. Make a day out of it. Pay parking can be weird sometimes though

Ayanna Nathan

I expected a lot out of this place, the building was nice and there was live music, and many of my friends say that everything there is amazing. I was surprised that many of the vendors were closed on a Saturday afternoon. We went to my boyfriend's favorite Asian place (Pham's) and I attempted to order a lunch combo ($6.25) but was told that they only serve those on certain days and the cashier could not tell me what days it is applicable (the written menu said that the lunch combo was served everyday except for Sunday, their rule is fine but they should change the menu to reflect that). I ordered the sesame wings, they upcharged me for the sauce without telling me, it took about 10 minutes even though I was the only customer (a sign I should haven taken to mean that their food was not good), they gave me the piping hot wings in a thin plastic container that burned my hands if I held it by anything but the edges. My boyfriend got the fried chicken from Mama D's, the cashier kept interrupting while he was ordering to ask questions about the food that I got at Pham's, most of the menu was not available and when he tried ordering that, the cashier yelled and made us feel stupid. The food didn't take long, the chicken had absolutely no seasoning except lemon juice squeezed on top making the breading soggy. The coleslaw was decent but the mac and cheese felt like you were eating sour cream with a spoon (I took one bite and I had to spit it out) . My sesame wings were impossible to eat, they were drenched in bland sauce that just made them slimy and disgusting. Overall, I will never come back or recommend it to anyone.

Hellcat Design Group

I love going here for Manny's Tortas and trying different world fare.

Debbie Vigil

Very nice place, I buy shoe from the guy from Turkey, he is awesome. He is located at the back of the store and has many great things to .purchase

Carol Behmlander

Holyland Restaurant " Yummmmmy ☆ Hero Sandwich ♡

Chrissy Bevins

We love to enjoy a meal down at Midtown Global Market. Everyone can find a little something that they like and still eat together. From Mexican to Asian to even African Indian and more, it's all there! As well as plenty of little street vendor style booths with eclectic items to purchase. And it's in walking distance from Children's Hospital which made it convenient for us!

T K

Easily one of the best spots to grab a bite in the Twin Cities. You will find authentically prepared cuisine from quite literally all over the world. My personal favorite is Safari Express. They also have retail stores and Grocery Stores. If you live here and haven't been you're really missing out!

David Hong

Love the diversity of food options. You never feel bored visiting here. The only problem is that there are no places for salads if you need something truly healthy.

Keith Kieffer

Prices are a bit high, but having such a wide variety of foods available is great! Portion sizes are large, so you can share. Each person can get just what they want. Note that each place is picky that you can only get napkins and plastic-ware from the place you purchased food from. Only complaint is that the bubble teas are made from powder and not real fruit. Note that the food court is just one area on the ground floor of the much larger many-floor building.

Salman Sadiq

Amazing collection of delicious food, little shops and culture. Loved all the places to eat. One of my favorite diverse locations to go in the twin cities

Amber Johnston

Amazing food and events for everybody! Check it out!

Jenni Bree

I love all the places to eat..and different foods to buy....its so diverse and fun to meet all types of personalities and ethnicities. Very fun!

Debbie Clark

So many wonderful places to eat it's difficult to decide. Walking around looking at all the unique stuff is so much fun !

Tom Lutes

So many options, not to mention the cultural diversity. Everyone has something to offer and they're all in one place! I think the Market is a great date destination, a family event, or even someplace to hang out. Something for everyone. And I think they have live music periodically, too.

Stephanie Groth

Great atmosphere and awesome food/shopping selection

Jeff Hagadorn

Excellent assortment of ethnic foods and gourmet desserts. Busy at lunchtime but easily found parking and waits were short.

Eric Henly

Lots of casual dining options, selection of ethnic foods and crafts. A little difficult to figure out the layout and options, shouldn't have to pay for parking!

Tom Malik

Love the selection of different places to grab lunch! Manny's Tortas is a winner.

Ryan Smith

Nice way to kill some time on a chilly day! Can't speak on the food since we ate beforehand, (which I do not recommend!) But the lines were long at all of the food spots so I can't wait to try some places next time. Several little nation specific shops scattered around within with lots of cool items such as jewelry, clothing, furniture and food items. A good place to spend a few hours!

Timothy Reagan

This place is fantastic! If you're hungry you have a dozen options from around the world. It's also an excellent place to buy gifts, unique Minnesota products, local art, and specialty food items.

Troy McDermott

It's an experience to learn different cultures and expand your horizons. Defiantly going back.

Cindy Pryor

A great stop on my Minnesota trip! Loved the variety of shops.

Jen B.

I loved all the food options and local shops at midtown. It's such a fun place to visit and I keep coming back to try new things! Definitely make a point to visit if you can.

Isa Felicia

I love coming here for cultural food and candy. Makes going to the DMV downstairs a lot less stressful.

Thor Burntvedt

One of our most recommended places in Minnesota. There can't be took many places like this inn the whole world. Unique, charming, and adventurous... every time we come through the cities, we stop here.

Marilynn Miller

This is a great place to sample food from all over the world. Some places are walk up and order, others are sit down service. There's also a great selection of ethnic and cultural food (groceries) and goods like Swedish tompten, Tibetan skulls, African pashmina scarves, and beautiful Moroccan leather slippers. You can either park at the Chicago Ave parking lot (I think that's all prepay meters) or in the parking structure behind the market. You grab a ticket coming in then, as you leave, you find a self service pay station, insert the ticket, and pay the fee based on time elapsed. You're given back the ticket which you insert in the gate on the way out. (No attendants).

Darcy Nordvick

My absolute favorite place in the cities! I ate at African Safari. The mango sauce was good. The lamb and pineapple is wonderful. There's so much to see in there. A feat for my eyes!

annika p

I love this place. So many different options; not just different cultures, but there are art shops, restaurants, clothing stores, etc. The market personnel are so friendly.

Eric Massie

A really different place to go in the twin cities. A unique "food court" with some interesting stories to explore. Definitely worth a long lunch stop when you want to do something different.

Craig Anderson

I Love Midtown Global Market. Greatly diverse dining from various countries, merchants and gift stores, a small grocery store, regularly scheduled musical entertainment and fantastic people watching. Parking available with the attached ramp, a few small parking lots and street metered parking. Regional food and craft offerings happen every so often.

Brandon Eddy

So much food here If you have not been here before this is a must see. Great diverse food choices for all your friends

Jewel Jones

Parking is a fight but they have a excellent selection for vendors.

Joree Wuollet

I love this place! Any time i’m indecisive about what I want to eat, this is my go-to because there are a zillion options and everything is delicious! I also love that this is a community space with music and events. The produce market inside is also awesome.

Barbara Keegan

I thought maybe they could do a better job w/the little shops! They need better seating arrangements!

Donnie Bogle-Boesiger

Super cool space!!! Some friends brought us here when visiting for the weekend. I had a torta and it was THE BOMB. So much so, it needed an out of date term from the 90s to describe it! ;) The environment is also cool. Feels like you're traveling around the world as you walk around.

Delmon Smith Sr.

I always enjoy the experience here having the opportunity to choose from such a plethora of cultural dishes.

william murphy

A great combination of shops to choose from. From Danish goods to tortas and many other things. Always changing the choices available.

Thomas Johnson

Good place for quick eats or shop

John Shannon

Wonderful selection of ethnic foods with an outstanding brewery.

Lindsi Lightner

I was expecting more based on other reviews... I didn't think there was much here. I stayed about 20 minutes. Didn't think it was worth the effort of getting there.

Diane Louis

Variety of different foods and other nice shops! Highly recommended

Sammer Elkhateeb

More than a dozen restaurants of all different flavors. Security does a wonderful job of keeping out the riff-raff. Most restaurants are priced very reasonably.. I’m here weekly, and the bazaar-like atmosphere is welcomed, and an experience in and of itself.

NightmaresRW

Amazing place to find all kinds of different foods and products from different regions of the world. Stunning experience, I enjoyed it very much.

Eliezer Lagares

Great good. Somali food at Safari is great for someone who never ate Somali food! I recommend it!

Steven Dobbs

Loved this place. Incredible little bubble of diversity. It was a joy to have different foods and languages and colors all around. And where else can you get a camel burger?

Joe Lablanche

Very nice experience there. People are very friendly and charming. The storefronts are very welcoming. The neighborhood is also known for its own unique views. I love the deli sandwiches.

Shayla Love

I always go to safari....thats my spot and the workers are amazing....if you aint had this place you truly need to try it

Kailyn P

So many amazing choices! A great place for a quick lunch or to take out of town guests!

Felicia Johnson

Always find something new here to eat

Jennifer Lenander

I've heard about Midtown Global Market and decided to give it a try during a recent stay at the nearby hospital. I loved all the food options available. However, I found the space overwhelming and easy to get lost in. I wish there was a map of where everything was so it would be easier to find places.

Richard Erickson

Fun place to try new foods and restaurants. Look forward to returning.

Mikky Daub

I love the variety of food options and vendors! Plus there’s FREE yoga every Monday & Wednesday at 6pm and Saturdays at 2pm.

Kirsten Meehan

Love it there! I would eat at a ‘new country’ everyday for a month if I could go there everyday, it’s the best and they have covered parking for SUPER cheap;)

Elizabeth Lamae

Amazing place with so many wonderful up-and-coming restaurants I absolutely love it!

Willie Alexander

Favorite place to be culinarily adventurous. Bring an appetite and an open mind. (Try the camel burger)

Anne H

There is such great, delicious food here! The variety is fantastic, and diverse! I recommend buying from a couple different vendors so you can try more. The Moroccan Flavors vendor is absolutely divine!! I got a beef tagine bowl that had my mouth in flavor country! Savory, sweet, absolutely delicious!! I can never go there without picking up some sambusas from Safari Express. The pockets of meat are beautifully flavored and the cilantro sauce you can get to enjoy them with adds a delightful extra flavor! I could go on, as I've tried many of the wonderful flavors this market has to offer, but I think you should go there and try some things for yourself! It's well worth it!!

Jackie Phelps

Great cultural shopping area. Lots of great food!

Donna Weber Schaap

If you are looking for great places to eat, this is the place to go. It's like a food court on steroids.

Jennifer & Jason Simmons

I have always like to visit the Midtown Global market when looking for something different. Had the Gyro this time. Was more than I could eat at 1 sitting. Definitely a good value for the price. Oh and of course they treated us with free desert. It was awesome. Will go backagain, but this time I will be prepared for the large portion size.,

Lynoth Draconis

Love coming here, so much to choose from. Not cheap, but where else am I going to get Vietnamese coffee to go with my African entree and Mexican dessert?

Artic Gaming

Troy TJ Machoka

Go there for you international palate

Joe Beacom

Very interesting market offering a LOT of different cultural foods, clothing, etc. neighborhood can be a bit sketchy but hasn’t stopped us yet. We love it.

Rachel Young

Food is very expensive and you also have to pay to park. Theirs a very sketchy bus stop right outside and im positive drugs were being done. They do have some nice items that are unique in there. Worth checking out for the experience. Just don't bring your kids unless you want to risk them seeing drug activity

Brian Breault

Very friendly people and very unique items from around the world. It was my first time there but it won't be my last

kenny ferrer

there are a lot of kinds of food I do not see no fly is very clean for anybody can eat

Dominic Birckbichler

An incredible experience! Drop in and devour a wide array of culinary culture. Food of every style! There is even wonderful coffee and a brewery! Need a gift for something? Look no more there is a great selection of locally handmade goods.

John Bennington

Good selection of diverse foods. Good quality. Good pricing.

Christian Buchanan

one of the most racially, ethnically and culturally diverse spots in the entire state of MN. it's great to see such disparate peoples enjoying the community of one another. the global market is one of the cornerstones of the midtown neighborhood, and the rest of the Southside, in all reality. I wish some of the restaurants were a bit more affordable to accommodate the predominantly working class neighborhood its a part of, but there are plenty of tasty (and healthy!) affordable options available nonetheless! bonus points for so much vegan friendly food. a must-see for any outside of the cities or to anyone visiting the Twin Cities.

Emily Lu

It used to be a great place to sample different cultures dishes but now it's so run down with many stores closed. Parking use to be free and not anymore.
