Terrible produce. The produce is all rotting or moldy, truly on its last leg. Also, many times I've had fruit that tastes like a musty basement. TASTE not smell. Gross. How can a business honestly sell such low quality product??!? Fortunately there's a lot of competing stores that sell much better quality product.

I personally love this store. It reminds me of a small town grocery store. They have an online weekly ad with good sale prices. The staff has always been really friendly. They source locally quite a bit. Its not the store I buy paper and cleaning products etc. From but in my opinion they have top notch meat, produce, and deli!

This place is incredible. Well kept secret. I am totally surprised that they are not busier. The staff are incredibly nice and welcoming, they have a bakery, deli, meat market, food bar, eat in area, and everything else grocery stores have. It has a neighborhood corner grocery store feel on steroids. My new go to grocery store.

Bobs is the last of the old fashioned markets and service. They have the nicest people there. My Mom (95) and I (62) eat lunch there all the time . They have a great salad bar and hot food specials as well. A lot of tradesman eat there lunch there.

This is a really cool place! Lots and lots of very fresh very good looking produce and the workers here sincerely like what they do. The prices are not too expensive and everything seems like a great value. They have an incredible deli and meat selection and their fruit looks fantastic. They put a lot of time into making sure the place looks beautiful. I was very impressed and I will definitely will be back! Five stars!

Had to pick up Mountain Gold peaches just arrived. Wonderful. Helpful and cheerful employees--was reminded to take peaches out of plastic bag when I got home. Arrived during last hour of business. Part of closing procedure was to remove fresh produce from shelves and put in cooler. No wonder their produce always great quality. Stopped at meat counter. Chicken leg & thigh combo hard to find anywhere else so usually get some. They will package separately if freezing part of order. Thick pork chops should be tasty as well.

One of the ONLY places I have ever seen fresh morels during the spring season. Large amount of lunch traffic for the deli so, stop in early.

They have a great salad and sandwich bar. They keep everything full and fresh. They also have soups and chili. I made a turkey sandwich and a cup of wild rice soup. The sandwich was charged per pound and the soup was a flat fee. The turkey was super fresh, the soup could have been seasoned a little better. The prices are on the high side, but it was a good fresh lunch, better than a fast food place.

I love love love Bobs produce. Fresh food, homemade treats and side dishes, as well as common food essentials such as but not limited to; milk, bread and juice. Bob's is a nice cozy little shopping place. I love going here to shop for quality produce and most times to grab a bite to eat.. they have a great hot food selection that changes daily. The staff are patient and lovely to be around and the food is pretty good. The prices are not inexpensive, but it's not outrageous either. Probably one of my favorite "hideaway" shops.

It's like going back in time to when grocery stores were about quality - healthy - nutrient rich - low chemical food that supports and grows healthy families. It's tempting to describe Bob's as "small town", though truthfully it's more fitting to describe the experience as "1950's". That said - I'm in my 20's so I've got an idealistic image of the 50's based on drive-in theaters and thoughts of unknowingly healthy eating habits based on movies and photos from "back in the day". What you WILL find at Bob's: - fresh fruits and veggies - non-waxy coating (you'll notice it feels like you're touching real fruit vs. waxy like most grocery stores) - butcher section has extremely tasty looking meat compared to most grocery stores What you will NOT find at Bob's: - you won't find an overly large supply of boxed meals / recipes - you won't find a large section of anything with chemicals / long shelf life Tips: - become a "Bob's Produce" member. It's free at checkout and you don't need a special card - they can just look you up by your name. Yes - at Bob's they use your name. You are not a number - if you don't have your card - they ask your name and not your address / phone number. For some reason - this seems like such a small but important detail. Perhaps it's just reflective of the difference between Bob's and the others. - join their email list for weekly specials. They always have deals on something or another. The prices in general can be higher for milk/cheese but the fruits/veggies can be less (especially when on sale). Overall since you are buying less processed food I find my overall bill is actually less than when I shop at other grocery stores. - stay clear of the "clearance" rack. It's clearly identified, you'll know it when you see it.

The freshest and best produce around hands down. You will not find it better or more reasonably priced than here. The meat department is like getting it straight from the butcher because you are. Large parking lot for easy in and out. Large soup and salad bar for lunch or supper. Its like a large farmers market indoors. I highly recommend a visit here.

I am a regular at Bob's. I always buy more than I plan. The fresh produce and fruit is great. But, they also have an excellent deli counter. The fried chicken is fantastic. The Ranch Delux potato salad tastes like my grandma's. And, they have real butchers who can actually cut a piece of meat to order! Try finding that at a regular grocery store! Everywhere in the store staff are friendly and professional. I feel that people who work there take pride in Bob's. Best grocery store ever, hands down.

I'm so sorry .my stars were off on my review. BOB.PRODUCE. one of the BEST. To buy any kind of meat especially their bratwurst. I've been shopping there since 1983 and never been disappointed they go out of their way to help you. I forgot my milk and their employee help me and.went back in with my cash and got me the milk I was in a lot of pain. So I asked for help carrying my groceries to my car. A young lady help me out. Got to my car I.had forgotten my.Skim Milk. I asked if she would go back in for me she did and i got my milk With a nice smile and I was very happy customer. They have great meats, Bakery and produce can't go wrong shopping at Botb's Produce

Great store, good people. Amazing how much they can inventory, and be so competitive with their pricing. Too many of these types of stores have been crowded out of business by the Walmarts, Targets, Cub Foods, and Rainbows. Give them some of your business and lets try and keep them around for as long as possible.

I usually really like Bob’s. I’ve bought produce and deli goods from Bob’s since moving here in 2016. The last two times I shopped there, I was surprised to see over ripe avacados, tomatoes and grapes. I bought tomatoes on the vine in a shrink wrapped package and they were moldy. I hope this was just an unusual occurrence.

I come in almost every morning for coffee and more often than not the regular coffee is empty, the different cappuccino flavors are always empty, I want to be able to just get a simple cup of coffee and not come there and everything is empty. I'm disappointed.

best donuts in north metro, possibly the state. Entire bakery is awesome, to be honest. Nice produce department, but it is the meat department that is the star, in my opinion. Their bulk Italian sausage is one of the best I have ever tasted. Their meats are very good quality, and their sale prices make them a great deal. And their employees are top notch. I shop Bob's Produce at least once a week.

We love coming here for steaks and burgers. The NY Strip steaks are very tender and delicious and cut to the perfect thickness. The 1/4 beef patties have the perfect amount of fat in them and are the perfect thickness. I grill them up in 9 minutes and they turn out perfectly every time with no guesswork on if they are done. Bob's skin on hot dogs are the best anywhere we have found. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

I've been there twice, recently, and was disappointed both times. Their prices are fairly high, in general, and extremely so considering what's actually offered. The produce is nothing special, and certainly not fresh. We picked up a small crate of peaches, half were rotten. Upon inspection of the cardboard crate, it appears they were from Sam's Club anyway. The selection of chili peppers were all wrinkled and squishy, with blackening spots spreading throughout. I could go on, but I'll just say that the trend continued. Much of their other, non-produce foods were nothing to brag about either. Again, expensive. And much could be found elsewhere, or at the very least a very similar product could be. The only reason I could honestly think to give 2 stars, rather than 1, was because of the friendliness of the staff that we encountered. The bakery had warm, kind people working, and our cashier was humorous.

Great grocery store with emphasis on fresh produce, meats and deli. Minimal selection of boxed and canned goods. No meat on foam trays wrapped in plastic - there is a real meat counter here. Service is uniformly friendly and helpful. They bag your groceries, too.

Bob's is one of best produce/ Supermarkets left that is not a big box store. They are family owned and sell more Minnesota raised products than any other place. They have a old school deli and bakery and the food is great. There prices are fair and the quality of the product is top notch. I also think the staff is fantastic. Be very very careful of the food you purchase here, 2 days ago I purchased a yogurt of the shelves and didn’t know the expiry date, I figure their staff would be competent enough to restock their shelves, but upon closer look, it expired mid October. Month old dairy product still being sold for purchase. I’ve been going to bobs produce since I was a very young girl, and he’d be rolling in his grave if he knew who was staffing his store, and the quality of product being sold.

The manager in the deli is awful! She treats her staff horrible! Yelling & screaming at them in front of customers.The kitchen doesn't even have a stove to cook the noodles for their pasta salads, they cook them in an oven! The whole staff there is over worked and burnt out from the constant harrassment from the manager in the deli! Thumbs down a thousand times over!

This is not your run of the mill big name grocery store. There are many more specialty things going on here. But personally, I most often go in for the deli. There are great, quick eats at the deli and bakery, not to mention the gigantic salad bar, and the soups, too! Go check them out. Great people, and some really great buys that you can find, too.

I have now been to Bob’s several times and the quality has been high consistently. The meat counter has also been a pleasant surprise. The prices are in line with most other grocery stores. Last time I bought watermelon from bobs I had to throw it away so I asked today if the watermelon is good the clerk Janet said but it than taste it if not good return it. This is a wonderful family owned business since the 1950s. The produce department always has perfect produce a lot that is from local farms in the area. How long has it been since you were in a actual meat market where they butcher the meat themselves? It is wonderful to be able to get steaks cut to what you think is perfect thickness. They make their own beef sticks and smoke them on site. Everyday during the work week you can go in and eat at their deli or have a fantastic hand carved meat sandwich which varies Monday thru Friday. Can't think of a single reason not to come join the rest of us shoppers for a great lunch followed by picking up your groceries.

Great place. You'll find better quality and more produce here than you'll see most places. They are a full service grocery store too. In addition, they have a large salad bar and hot food options as well. There's a south facing eat in area and a Redbox thingy. What more could you ask for?! FRUIT AND DVDS. My only gripe is I often walk out of there with a $10 salad, which is completely my fault.

This place is awesome! Fresh produce. And you can have lunch here too! I think thats the best part because you can make up your own little or huge salad lunch from every kind of fresh fruits, vegetables & deli item you can think of. Load up your plastic tray with what you want then they charge by the pound. Friday is $1 off so that's probably the best day to go. I really like this place.
