Honestly the most unhelpful experiences I have had. The staff could not help, nor make an appointment for me to get my devices checked. It’s incredibly crowded and you’re being treated like one of hundreds of customers that they don’t want to help. That makes it the worst Apple store I’ve ever been to.

PLEASE READ!! THIS IS SERIOUS Really bad experience, pour professionalism and horrible customer service. A month ago I have changed my battery in Apple store Puerta Del Sol, after that, my phone start doing crazy things so i went again, i explain to them my situation and the response that I received was that is a software problem, they can not do anything and I should wait until the next update. 3 weeks later my phone die, I come back and they told me that is dead forever and they offer my a replacement that cost 360. Of course say NO!! and leave. After that i went to fix my phone some where else, so I did and just changing the battery was working fine. That is not the end, I ask this nice people to keep the original battery in the phone, so I came back to the Apple store and I explaned to them again the situation, they looked at me like a full but anyway, I persisted and they agree to try to replace the battery. Surprisingly they came back whit my movil dead again telling me the same. "Sorry but is not working ....." So I left again and I went to the small shop and change the battery and now is working fine again. AFTER THIS I CAN NOT TRUS THIS APPLE STORE. I HAVE BEEN IN APPLE STORES IN OTHER COUNTRIES BUT IN SPAIN EVERYTHING IS AWFUL, VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Not the most reliable store, hard to make appointments, long appointment waits, hard to get in contact, they rarely pick up the phone, did not get help on the spot after multiple interrelated issues, does not open early in the morning, just in general not a top-notch apple store and therefore, after so much experience with awesome apple stores, i have to give this weak review. i prefer results over smiles.

Stood in line for 40 min at the Sol Apple Store only to find out no tech help was available. They could have announced that earlier and saved like 20 people from standing in line unnecessarily. When the man in front of us complained the Apple guy said "that's the way we do things here. If you don't like it..." It was so unprofessional and completely arrogant. I've only ever received Apple assistance in the States so this pathetic service was really shocking.

The service and appointment system is terrible. The store has no signs , no lines. They try to confuse you by moving you from one place to another, in every new spot they let you wait more and more. I had an appointment for 20:45 and then they postponed it to 21:15 without sending me a text massage. In the message they said they were ready to serve me at 20:45 and then when I came in they told me that I better wait in the store. There are no sitting places in the store, there are many employees running around the store and you don't know which one to address, no digital signs that says how long more I should wait . This is the last time I buy an apple product! Moreover there are no prices on the products presented in the store, and you have to wait for an employee just to ask for the price.

This the worst Apple Store I have visited in my life. The nearest appointment was 7 days away. I took it, when I arrived there, they told me they cannot replace my screen today and I have to take another appointment in the early morning!! Which I did, then they told me it will take up to 2 hours to replace it. But they couldn’t keep there words and waited for extra 2 hours!!!!!! People have their business, work or family. We cannot spend the whole day in the store just to replace the screen!!!!

Extremely poor customer service. Having an Apple benchmark across Latin America and various in USA, I need to say that I´ve experienced the most disrespectful situation in Puerta del Sol. Two days, two situations: 1- Was in to purchase a MacPro, sadly it was out of stock so I decided to take a look around to purchase other gadgets and come later. While doing so with my wife and 2 babies I was intercepted by an employee telling me that the store was about to close and needed to leave, even standing in front of me and preventing my way through; I remarked I was on my way out through the other aisle, however the employee followed us saying "You need to leave because I want to go home" (clearly not the attitude I´ve seen in Apple being a customer (not playing around with iPads and using free wifi). Called the supervisor but he rather defended the employee instead of looking for a solution. 2- Went back to purchase the MacPro, and was directed to an "express checkout" with a queue of 10 people (anywhere else the person who boards you is able to process the payment right with you). Now, the girl on the express checkout was nothing less than rude, told my wife with 2 kids to go herself to pickup the accessories for the MacPro upstairs, laugh when the credit card didn´t go through the 1st time and more sadly used ironic language on "how things were done in Spain compared to Latin America". The only positive was the store Manager who interceded, assigned a different employee and was candid for the situation. Suggestion is to train employees in customer service and evaluate the ratio of staff to real customers (avoiding them to focus its service on the +80% of people just playing with iPads or using wifi).

It’s an example of a quite complicated Apple Store. If you find your guy, you’ll get the regular expected Apple service, but otherwise employees try to get rid of you as soon as possible. To buy Apple products it works extremely fast, to repair quite tiresome. First of all in order to get an appointment you have to try hard online system (perhaps it’s because of the location, center of Madrid, but yet this doesnt explain why not to hire more/enough stuff then).

Really great experience here! Had a sudden issue with a piece of hardware in my Macbook. I visited the store on a Friday afternoon and booked a same-day "emergency" appointment. Daniel was very so nice and helpful and spoke English as well :) He got my Macbook in for servicing that same afternoon and promised it'd be fixed in 2-3 days. To my surprise, it was done in less than 12 hours! Thanks Daniel!

WORST TREATMENT EVER Had the most un-professional experience. I left my phone for repair and i was not able to arrive before the closing time due to misdirection advices and i finally was at the door of the store 15 minutes after they had closed and some of the staff were inside cleaning. i knocked hoping that one of them will AT LEAST approach towards the door to hear me as i wanted to simply ask about the working hours for the following day. But all i received is just CARELESS nodding as an indication to come the next day. On top of that they were claiming that they are just cleaners and they don't have the keys, however i saw them before as part of the sales team. I respect their working hours and i cannot get my head around the awful attitude and the level unprofessionalism.

Really nice apple store in the heart of Madid! The store is beautifully designed with all the electronics sorted into categories and placed accordingly. The staff are also very nice and are well informed, so that they know about all the products, even the ones not bade by apple. The prices are average for apple electronics, cheaper than apple online, but more expensive than amazon or ebay. I would reccomend going to this store to buy tech.

Worst Apple Store that I have been to in the world!! Went to get my camera repaired/replaced on my iPhone X only to find out that the whole phone needs to be replaced. Price 600€ and the worst part was to come when told that I needed to wait about 11/2 hours. After 3 hours still no MSM for tech support.. As a long time customer of Apple products from the origin (one of first with @mac domain) I am getting so frustrated with the new Apple that will soon be migrating to other quailed vendors. By the way a lot of Apple people walking around for sales but few for real support!!!!

I wish it was possible to give more stars. I thought my macbook pro was dead, it's a very old one, from 2010, and I use it on travels because it's light, durable and stable, and the today I thought it will stop working for good, it started with Wi-Fi problems and ended with a total shutdown and wasn't turning on again. I get to this Apple Store and everybody was really helpful in special Patricia, and now I can work again and don't be fired. I love this place!

My phone was broken during my travel, went there to find out if I can fix it. They were very kind and explained how it will be done, how long it will take. Told me it will take 2~3 hours but actually took just an hour and half. Everyone was very kind and English speaker.

Worst apple shop I have ever been to. The staff were rude and not helpful. If you sat down and they needed the chairs, they would demand that you stood. When I attempted to take a stool from another table I was shouted out and had the stool snatched out my hand. I would not return to this store nor would I purchase anything from this store. Really busy and loud and there never seem to be enough staff available on the ground floor. Go upstairs and there's loads available. However the staff are very good as usual it's a shame their genius bar policy of reset it a few time before they do anything means you have to visit the shop 3 time before your problem gets resolved.

The worst Apple store I have ever been to, after multiple phone replacements I went back with a new issue and was offered a repair but I had to come back the next day. In the UK they have always just replaced the phone but I guess this is Spain. I asked to speak with the manager and he was awfully rude and when I tried to explain the ongoing issues I was having and why I couldn't come back the next day, he more or less told me he didn't care and walked off and left me with the genius. Big shout out to Ruben the most useless and rude Apple store manager yet!

Eureka ! Habemus Apple Store in Madrid ! It opened a month ago in June and is right on the Puerta del Sol in a beautifully renovated building which used to be a hotel. They've preserved all the original stone walls and ironwork pillars, and yet given it a great modern Apple feel. I went with an iPhone problem which in the UK they told me would involve replacing the screen. Here the Spanish technician took it away for 3 minutes, popped the glass back in its place and charged me nothing. Now that's real after-sales service. The staff are young, knowledgeable and enthusiastic and there's a great buzz about the place....

My last review seems to have been deleted. Badly organised with long waits. Apple response to defective iPhone was "We can't repair that." Took it to an independent repair shop and had battery replaced. Problem solved. Congratulations Apple, you've lost a customer for life.

The service team at this store was fantastic. I live in the U.S., and was traveling through Spain. I dropped my iPad, and the charger broke off inside it. My next stop was Madrid, fortunately near this store. I walked in when the store first opened the next morning, and explained that I would only be in Madrid for two days, and couldn’t wait for the next available appointment (7 days later). They worked me into the schedule. The technician explained that he might not be able to fix the problem, but he was willing to try. Fortunately, he was able to get the broken charger out of the port, and I did not have to replace the iPad. The team here salvaged my vacation (or at least my budget for the vacation). Even though the store was incredibly busy, everyone was very professional and attentive. I can’t say enough good things about the Genius Bar here.

Unqualified people only. They are happy to sell you bugged products but unhappy to fix it. In this Apple store, when you buy something you have to be happy and don’t come back to say that it doesn’t work. An employee came to help me but doesn’t event know what’s going on and try to fix my problem, solutions? Do the same things 20 times and even if nothing changed he asks me to do it again, he doesn’t even look at what he asks me to do he just leave and go to say hi to some friends. This is not acceptable from a brand like Apple and the customer service here is not good at all.
