Always love going to Joe's Produce! I live on the east side over near Mount Clemens Michigan, but my mom lives in Livonia and we occasionally stop by to cash in on some great food and products. Quality produce, Quality Meats, quality baked goods, and quality wine! You won't lose going here, and the prices are pretty good!

This place is so incredibly expensive, its unbelievable. Their salad bar, while it does have a decent selection, is $10 a pound!! That's insane! And they didn't have a great selection of organic produce. Can't even imagine what their prices are in their meat and seafood section. Its in a whole other building so that doesn't seem promising. I had a gift card to get rid of, so that's it, I won't be going back. I'm not rich.

I've only started shopping there 2 years ago and love it. It's like a treasure chest of food & products. You have to look around every corner to make sure you don't miss anything. The Cheese department is wonderful. Lizzie the cheese monger does such a nice job in helping me select the right cheeses for any occasion. They have the freshest hand roasted coffee and yummy desserts. It reminds me of Italy's pastry counter. PERFECTO! They have one of the largest meat counters next door at Joe's Meat and Seafood. You need to sign up for their events. They have wine pairing dinners with Chef Lee creating the menu to match the perfect wine. I loved the place so much that I now work there!!

Called them to see if they had the cheese I have been looking for and they sure did! Taking a limited time walk around the store, the ample supply of fresh produce catches anyone's eye imeadiately. Boarshead cold cuts and fresh baked goods...will get me to come back when I have time to discover more. Livingston County could use one of these.

Small and busy. The selection isn't as broad as what you'll find at a large supermarket, but the foods and beverages they stock are carefully chosen. This is an awesome gourmet market. They have a great deli counter (try the Joe's Produce pastrami). Good selection of Michigan wine, and a guy there to help you pick something out. The bakery is great as well. The sourdough is crusty and tangy. Parking is the only annoying part.

I have shopped Joe's for years. Well over 30 and before it became what it is today. I now live 60 miles from the store but go there every chance I get. I don't believe that is going to be the case anymore. Product is not what it should be for the price being charged and in many cases, such as head lettuce which was well over $2.00 a head they are simply over charging. With his prices becoming higher and higher and in some cases out of line will be looking to find another source. However his fruit is very good.

In this marketplace there is fresh produce, a fresh meat market, and a bread store. All you need to make just about any meal that suits you. Yet the prices are very reasonable. A lot of other specialty items too. Check it out and you will not be disappointed.

My favorite produce, meat, and bread place in Livonia! Great selection of foods, meats, and house made bread.. the English muffin bread is great, and the meat shop has great quality meats... And the produce store had two counters of prepared foods, as well as Boars Head, Deitz and Watson, and local places like Dearborn Sausage company. They may be a little more expensive, but the selection and quality is worth it!

I miss Hiller's dearly and have been looking for a similar style store, great produce but reasonably priced. Whole Foods produce is stupidly overpriced. I found the selection at Joe's to be great and the prices to be well within what I would expect. Plenty of staff taking care of the store which I appreciate, it was clear they take pride in their stories and of course yummy samples. It's a 20 minute drive but I could easily see this becoming my new weekly stop.

Love the store, but deli counter could use some low tech upgrades. For instance, you take a number, but there is no display to say what number they are on. Today I tried the automated deli order system. Place your order, shop and come back for your order. Trouble is, they don't seem to take care of you in the same order, so it actually takes much longer. Then, when your order is ready, it is sent somewhere else in the store. Which is okay if they made it clear your order wouldn't be at the deli counter, and also made it clear where in the store your order can be picked up. Love the groceries, but shopping experience this afternoon was pretty annoying.

Went here the first time today after hearing their ads on the radio so frequently. Went to the bakery counter and no one was working it. Stood around for five minutes and asked two workers for assistance who said they would get someone. No one ever showed up so I went across the street to Just Baked where I was immediately waited on with friendly service. I glanced around at their produce prices which seems rather high. Fresh Thyme has better prices.
