I started shopping here about eight years ago. Unfortunately, today was my last day as a loyal customer. For the first time ever I was followed around the store by a cashier and the man who I assumed was the owner. I don't know if today was different because of how I was dressed, but I was disgusted. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Good prices, super fresh produce and varied selection. My preferred spot for fruits, veggies, tea, honey and kefir. If it was closer to me (like it used to be) I'd go here daily for fresh stuff, but I'm cool with every other week, the stuff usually lasts well enough for it too, (depending on the specific item of course, it is natural food).

Great little authentic produce and grocery store. My grandparents drive 45 minutes every week or so just because the quality and authentic European food. Prices are great. It is a smaller store so space is a little tight but I think it only adds to its charm. I cant wait to tag along and get to visit/shop here again!

Met one if the owners today. Had a little chat about chocolate butter. Asked if he ate the product and he said yes. He and his children loved and to try it on crackers roast muffins. He also said my opinion mattered. I smiled and said I would try the butter and let him know. In a world where diversity seems to be can offense it felt good to be acknowledged and appreciated on a personal basis.

Sunfresh has good selection of reasonably priced produce and other foods. I was pleased to find Chinese eggplant. I was also pleasantly surprised by the wide array of farmers cheese, feta cheese, etc. in the Dairy case. But they didn't have the specific item I was searching for: celeriac (i.e., celery root).

The employees are nice. Some of the shoppers are very rude. It's NOT to be on the cleanliness. A lit of the food is written in a different language NOT SURE if it European or Russian.... prices are great. Beware of certain fruits and veggies as they appeared to be 10x bigger then most which indicates to ME GMO I DID NOT see anything in here that was USDA ORGANIC except the Apple Cider Vinegar. Parking can be a bit tight and the lines me be very long wrapping around the store so get What you need!

Unfortunately, inferior products and poor customer relations and service keep me away. I had been a regular customer, spending upwards of thirty dollars a week at Sun Fresh. I purchased an inexpensive jar of honey, which I could not open. I brought it back and the worker was not able to open it either. Eventually, however, he put it up to a metal table in the back room and slammed it, bending the top, and thus making it unable to be stored (at least in this jar). I explained to the owner that I could not store it like this and asked if I could simply trade it in (and pay more) for a better jar of honey. He refused. I won't be back. The upshot: He lost more than $1500 a year's worth of business over a $2 jar of honey. Bad customer relations!

The produce and prices are great. The choices are remarkable. My only gripe is the aisles being so narrow and them not offering hand baskets. Instead, it becomes impassable when everyone decides they need to have a shopping cart.

I like their produce. Very good variety of fresh veggies and fruits. Excellent selection of honey! Some raw and organic and in large sizes. Also organic pom juice for much cheaper than any other store I've seen (3.99/quart). However customer service isnt great. They dont greet you when they see you. They dont smile or help at all if you dont ask them something. They are stone faced except the young girls at check out. It's like your not even in the store. I dont feel like they want me there. I'm muslim and its a jewish establishment duh! However I don't see them treat anyone else, any different. And Im never the only muslim there. Maybe its curtural? I dont know but I keep going because they produce is great.

This market is within walking distance of my home and I love it. I buy almost most of my produce from here. They have amazing prices here. Same same stuff would cost you in Giant about $15 and it would cost you here $5. They don't carry any kind of meats here. So buy your meat somewhere else, and everything else, you can buy here.

I buy a lot of buy fruit and vegetables here. It has a wide variety of the things most people buy and if you up all things too. Often their produce is ready to eat or sometimes is pushing the edge of a little over ripe. I have brought home fruit flies from here, that part is disappointing. They have a lot of Eastern European and Turkish types of foods and imports. This is heavily used by the Russian population in Northwest Baltimore.

Great produce store with an Eastern European products as well. It’s well stocked most of the times and has local apples all year long! Also some “Russian” foods like bread, farmers cheese and herring to name a few. Good selection of packaged teas and sweets. They have some sections by the registers where they offer discounted veggies that need to be used right away. The parking is free and they offer shipping carts.

It's Russian owned and lots of the prepared products are written in Russian but most with English translation. I can usually figure stuff out though. I took my elderly dad back to this store to exchange a product that looked like someone opened it and put their fingers in it. The owner was very nice and said no problem go to the register. We go to the register and the cashiers needed to call the manager “hector” to process approve the exchange. This is when it when downhill! Hector decided to argue and say they are all like that, even though we inspected two bottles that were not like that. He said to us that Jewish people are delicate and that’s when I became upset! Without even knowing my faith, I told him that he cannot say that ever, especially as a manager of any establishment! I told him you don’t know what I believe in or my family’s ethnicity! I said just exchange and go away. When we were leaving I saw him standing outside with the manager and proceeded to re-educate him because this is not right. I said again you don’t know anything about anyone you can’t say that kind of stuff. He said he will and would do it again! I’m like omg what is going on are you serious. I even told him what next are you going to say something about my biracial son who was with me and walked away! The owner who was nice in the beginning just stood their and allowed him to talk like this. I’m not sure if I can do anything more then educate him but for him to say he would do this again cannot happen. I will need to figure out a way for this not to happen. He never even apologized or took ownership which is even worse!
