Great gem! Smoothies, pretzels, and baked goods are to die for. You can even buy half pies instead of whole ones! Red raspberry pie is the best. The restaurant inside is also fantastic...but if you want to go for breakfast, especially on Saturday, arrive early! I got there 15 minutes before they opened and still ended up having to wait 20 minutes for a table because of how popular it is! Or order for takeout.

This market is in Germantown and is always humming with activity. You can find candy, spices, canned goods, fresh vegetables, meats and even furniture. There is an in-store dining area also. It is always packed. There is plenty of parking I gave 3 stars only because it is very busy and during peak times noisy. Also, it isuch too easy to buy more than just what you need so it can get quite expensive. Best to go mid-day on Thursday or Friday rather than on Saturday.

Meats, vegetables, bakery, deli, cheeses, candies, a restaurant, and the Amish fried chicken stand. All delicious! High quality, generous sizes and servings, and very reasonable prices. Definitely we'll come back, well worth the one hour trip.

We've eaten here several times over the years. Thursday is the best day to go if you can get there. Everything we've ordered has been well prepared and tastes very good. There are plenty of items and food to purchase as well. The meat counters and bakery definitely stand out. It's a nice time!

I have always heard good things about this place, and it does draw a good crowd each time I visit. While I had their candies, dried fruits and nuts, I think warm foods are the best while it is still that. The ambiance there is always pleasant and friendly, there is a feeling that conversation amongst people is not a lost art and is socially acceptable. For those who plan to visit, cash only at certain stalls and and the fact that this place opens only on certain days meant care most be taken on when to visit these folks. One other thing, like others mentioned, the pretzels are delicious.

Amazing quality and selection. The fresh meats, dairy and baked goods are worth the ride from Sterling, VA. If you go on an empty stomach, have lunch at the BBQ Pit or restaurant first! Otherwise, you may buy one of everything. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back!

Amazing fresh foods of all types from deli meats to sweets. They also make furniture with the smoothest finish you will ever feel. The location is cash only but they have an ATM inside and the customer service is good. If you have never been I would highly recommend you stop by!

I'm a big fan of dealing with the Amish community. Their fair and they work harder than almost any group I've met. The food is terrific here - it doesn't matter which family-run stole you go to, it's all prepared with care and a lot of effort. Reasonably priced, this is where you go when you want something that's better than normal. Everything is good. I've been coming here for years and will continue to come here.

LOVE this place. I really like grabbing pretzels when I first walk in (cash only) and walk around while eating it. Fresh squeezed juices are a big hit at our house along with the fried chicken. The meat counter also offers some awesome cuts at great prices. I typically like to get seasonal fruit from a nearby farm but when I don't have the time, the ones here look amazing as well. Tons of cheese here as well and the great part is you can taste before you actually commit to buying. The market does get pretty pricey if you're buying from a few of these places but remember, it's fresh and delicious. Be sure to check on the website for coupons and print before going. I use meat counter discount along with the pretzel discount often.

Along with visiting the butcher to get better prices and fresher meat then giant. My wife loves watching the girls make donuts. They don't even use a Rolling pin.

If you crave homemade food, this place is for you! Everything I've ever tried was delicious! They sell mouth-watering fried chicken, fresh meats, fresh produce, fresh bakery goods, yummy cheeses, candy, pretzels, furniture and much more! There are even sugar-free items available. Bring cash as some places don't take credit. Go early as it fills up fast. The people are kind and gracious even as they are busy.

I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon to buy sausage from the butcher and fried chicken. The lines were short and moved quickly. The chicken was hot and juicy. I grilled the sausage that night. It was delicious.

The Dutch Market located in Germantown MD is a busy market opened Thursday through Saturday. All vegetables, meats and produce are fresh. The Bakery has delicious items, some baked on the premises. The Restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Great value.

Variety of delicious coffee and so much more assortments of tasty goodness. I'll shop there at least once a week. Last Christmas, our family enjoyed a fresh, cooked and well fried 14 lbs Turkey. It was soooooo gooood. They affirmed to please their customers. Great price on variety of top quality meats. This market opens Thursday to Saturday only. They have a dine in restaurant inside... mmmm,mmmmmm mmmmmm delish!! Enough said!! Top quality furnitures. it's always busy but the lines moved quickly. Saturday is the busiest. Everything is fresh and delicious. Did I say delicious? IT IS. The staff are professional, patient and friendly. I highly recommended this local market. It is worth the trip!!!!

This place was awesome. Came back a second day for the soft pretzels alone. So many things to choose from! Pies, soups, hot food, snacks, donuts, furniture etc.. There is an atm located inside as some of the vendors do not accept credit or debit. The place was crazy busy on Saturday so I would recommend getting there early!!

OMGOMGOMGOMG So oddly I was hoping this place only accepted cash so I wouldn't spend excessively and only one vendor only takes cash so let the games begin. Pretzel Shop Only accepts cash, there was a long line and everyone in front of me ordered the cinnamon sugar pretzel so I figured there's something to it so I ordered it as well for $2.50. They also offer regular, sour cream and onion and raisin. Beilers Donuts I got 1/2 dozen for $6.50 and a dirty chai and my favorite flavors on the donuts were surprisingly the sour cream and regular glazed ones. I will say these donuts are super dense and heavy. They also have the entire baked goods section and I got a butter pound cake that was so moist and buttery. Lapps Candy Got the orange cream fudge which was dried out and inedible (sad face) and the dark chocolate caramel fudge which was absolutely rich, creamy and delicious. They have a variety of candy covered apples and I went simple with just the caramel coated granny smith apple which I ate the next day and it was amazing! Bulk Foods Herbs, spices, cookie mixes, grains, pickled veggies. I pretty much picked up a little of everything. What was the damage? I left spending over $40 for my first visit. Imagine my next visit I'm a lot more familiar so it's on like donkey kong.

This is a fun place to come. I dropped in on this visit to pick up some smoked pork chops and dried beef. The smoked pork chops were huge with each one weighing almost a pound. They are so good. It’s almost like eating ham. The dried beef is incredible. Took it home and had some on a bagel with cream cheese. I would highly recommend this store for you. Just keep in mind that they are only open Thursday-Saturday each week.

Always like the Dutch market! Pretzels are like Auntie Anne's... Cash only for pretzels. Wings are the best! Sold by the pound. The meat section has the best bacon and corned beef. There are home made donuts in every flavor. There is also a perfect section that has a really good premade salad. Also a hand made candy/chocolate section. Mush more... Go check it out!
